Dr. Britt Baker DMD vs. Toni Storm

[3.0] "Britt Baker is awful as usual, terrible offense and her selling is even worse, terrible professional wrestler. The same multiple idiotic interferences to distract the babyface who per usual is a much better wrestler than the doctor DUD. Credit to Toni Storm for trying to get something out of this human broom at least."

[5.0] "That was far better than their previous encounter, but Baker wasn't this good either. Storm carried the shit as Baker always bet everything on her character. Hopefully, it's working. Toni's work was great, she was here to destroy The DMD. Thunder Rosa's arrival to chase down Hayter was a bit generic, but that was effective. Good finish as well."

[3.0] "This was better than their previous encounter, but still not good. Despite Toni's best efforts, it's basically impossible to get anything out of Baker these days, she's just so slow and robotic, for example, her attempt at exchanging strikes with Toni was absolutely laughable. Also of note was, the one time Baker sells someone's offense turning out to be a ruse, she has to be trolling at this point. Rosa did a run-in to take out Jamie and got no reaction, her time as champ has to be coming to an end. In the end Toni won, thankfully, and note goes to Forbidden Door where they really should put the title on her. As for Baker, they should now let Jamie destroy her to write her off TV and send her to the nightmare factory to learn how to wrestle and give Jamie a big heel push that eventually leads to a feud with Toni for the title."

[6.0] "This was a pretty alright match and an improvement over their previous encounter. I'm excited for the Rosa/Storm match at Forbidden Door."

[6.0] "Better than their previous match. They didn't really get much going but the work itself was decent. ***"

[6.0] "Decent match. It was good to see Toni Storm get the win, and she showed she still has what it takes to be a title contender for a major women's title. It looks like she has a chance to win the title soon."

[6.0] "This was a solid enough match but I'm not seeing all that much chemistry between these two. Toni is very charismatic but so far in AEW I'm not sure her matches are fully delivering."

[5.0] "Not as awful as their last match together, but this still wasn't great. Pretty tame back and forth action here. Only spot I will remember is the hip attack sell from Baker. She sold it fantastically and I thought she was legit hurt. The finishing stretch amped up the pace slightly before Storm abruptly hits her piledriver to win. Don't understand why Baker won the tournament if the plan was for her to do a bunch of jobs afterwards. It was okay. [**1/2]"

[8.0] "I thought this match was great. The right woman won, which gives Toni Storm a quick push for her match against Thunder Rosa at Forbidden Door. Britt Baker did an outstanding job selling Storm's moves, including the hip attack in the corner. Although I doubt Storm will beat Thunder Rosa at the PPV, it'll still be a very good match. 8/10"

[5.0] "It wasn't a bad match - there just wasn't much to it. It was way too short and almost half of it took place during the picture in picture break. Toni's offense looked good and Britt sold well enough to put her over as a threat to the division. Thunder Rosa's weak "run-in" to chase Hayter off was pretty pathetic and the crowd barely reacted to it. Best thing I can say about this match is that at least Toni got her win back."

[5.0] "I was already really scared for Britt, she played the injury so realistically that I already panicked, it's a pity that in the end the match turned out to be so short and only the work of Toni Storm was remembered, she won. I wanted more high-quality wrestling, intrigue and speed, but unfortunately we didn't see anything like that. Girls definitely need more time to work."

[2.0] "Toni beats the "face of the division" and no one seems to care. Maybe it's because Britt controlled the majority of the match and took away attention from the win by doing the fake injury that didn't even get heat."

[8.0] "I didn't know why Rosa appeared just to follow Hayter along the stadium, the most random moment of the show. Now the match was awesomely good. Keep it going like this girls, pretty nice wrestling action, pretty good storytelling, and pretty good decision putting over Toni. This is the wasy. Good match. [****]"

[6.0] "OScar worthy sell job by Britt on the corner bump but otherwise a fairy run of the mill women's match in AEW"

[4.0] "Sadly, it is quite hard for me to enjoy anything involving britt baker given how mediocre her wrestling skills are and how she's supposed to be the one carrying the women's division. Even Toni Storm's good performance wasn't enough for me to hold this match in higher regard."

[6.0] "Toni is by far better wrestler and I think Khan needs to pull trigger with her all the way. She is someone you would like to build your division around."

[6.0] "Toni looked great here, she has the potential to be one of AEW's top women if she keeps this up - and the match against Rosa at Forbidden Door gives her a great chance to do that. Britt was her standard bland self, hopefully this loss will take her out of the title picture for a bit and give some other women the spotlight."

[6.0] "I dont think this match was bad, but I just wasnt as interested in it compared to the other matches. Maybe it was because it was a Britt match? Yeah, probably. Good way to give Storm a revenge win over Britt though, and a solid way to build her up for her inevitable challenge to Thunder Rosa. Not a huge fan of Britts offense though, but Storm had some really nice moves and carried this match. [***]"

[7.0] "The match was good, and highlighted Toni more than Britt (as it should have). I have to admit I bought hard on the Britt hip attack injury angle. For the unevenness of Britt's selling sometimes, this was done very well."

[7.0] "Yet another very good match that it seems people refuse to call good. And then they complain there's no women's wrestling on the show. Well THIS was great and the right woman went over."

[6.0] "A decent match and thank god Toni won clean. Britt needs to take a back seat, we don't need her on TV every week anymore."

[5.0] "This was slightly better than their first match but still leaves a lot to be desired.The action was really solid, and both tried to impress the fans just like last time but the fans less cared about what happened in the ring. That shows the expiration of this rivalry. I'm glad that this saga between Storm & Britt is done with Storm coming on top and her showdown against Rosa at Forbidden Door excites me. 2.5 out of 5 stars!"

[6.0] "This bout if it wasn't for Toni Storm's win would be something else, it was about time to see her win something, let's see if the next few weeks build to something more important for Toni."

[6.0] "This match depended on (a) if you like Britt Baker (which a lot of people here don't), and (b) what you thought about how Baker sold Toni Storm's running hip attack. For me, it was a great reaction to the weird criticism the likes of Bryan Alvarez have given the move, as it's one of the more devastating moves in AEW. This had the finish the Owen Hart Tournament match should have had with Storm winning clean, setting up her shot at Thunder Rosa at Forbidden Door."

[5.0] "A mulligan I guess for a very weak initial match between these two, but even though it's an improvement, something about it still just doesn't click like it should, whether its lack of a compelling story or Britt's trio getting old or just shortcomings on the part of the wrestlers. A repetitive flat women's match in that same small slot they're always stuck in on Dynamite."

[6.0] "this matches usually get on the time the crowd is tired had little to no heat Toni storm should have beat her faster Reba is obnoxious PUSH JAMIE HAYTER"

[3.0] "Typical Britt match except she loses. Toni didn't really get much shine from this, basically hit her finish and went home. It's almost like they shouldn't have had Britt beat her before this already. Go figure."

[4.0] "Really flat match with not much heat or stuff to get excited about for Toni/Rosa. Britt's fake out was funny mainly because the crowd still didn't react to the reveal."

[5.0] "Better than their previous match but what was the point of Britt beating Toni and Ruby for the Cup, just so she can take the pin in a tag match and get beating clean by Ruby and Toni"

[6.0] "This perhaps should be rated a 5, as there wasn't too much to this in terms of spots and Baker looked clunky. But my God, that fake injury angle by Britt Baker towards the end of the match was one of the best sells I have ever seen! She totally convinced me (and pretty much everyone else watching) that she had been concussed. The rest of the match wasn't too special, but that was perfect. **3/4"
