[4.0] "Pretty much your average HoT match, they certainly had much more overbooked matches but they showed all their usual shenanigans, like it doesn't get any better the 50th time they do the same stuff, they seem to think if they shove down our throats just long enough, folks are gonna like it. Anyways, I don't want to be all negative, a positive thing I want to point is the team of Tanahashi and GOD, they actually had great babyface energy, which served as a great counterpart to HoT, which also made match despite HoT's antics watchable, until the finish which I didn't like at all, low blow into SHO's wrench for the cover, that wasn't it really."

Two types of babyfaces who merged well together as Tana would always humiliate BC's boys. Not the smoothiest action, but this had a nice storytelling, even if the finish was a bit flat."

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa didn't work out for me, they don't really fit each other. Again dirty interventions and tricks with a cane and other objects."

This was 17 minutes of plodding boring running about with the same cheat spots HoT do every single time and Tanahashi couldn't save it. If the main event wasn't so excellent I would've heavily regretted sitting through this. *3/4"

Tanahashi using the ref, Jado getting involved, etc etc. They never crossed the line, but it was nice to see faces actually doing what it took to win against HoT. Unfortunately though, despite the story heading into the match, and despite the story of the match... House Of Torture yet again got the win. Continues to be the worst thing in wrestling today. But poor booking and bad finish aside, this was good."

[2.0] "Weak and dull match with few interesting things happening. Unlike many other HOUSE OF TORTURE's matches, this one is not filled with a lot of shenanigans and ref bumps, so it's a bit more enjoyable, but it all crashes down when we get to the very end, when Yujiro Takahashi distracts the referee and EVIL hits a Low Blow on Tanga Loa and SHO knocks the fuck out of him with his torture tool. This had potential, such a shame. **1/4"
