I believe that Tommy Dreamer should've won this match as he had fought through so much interference and legit could've pinned Shane with any of the 17 finishers he hit him with. There is a lot of interference by Beulah and Francine so get ready to see them a lot in this match. Action was solid."

[5.0] "There was so much interference by the valets here that it might as well have been an intergender match. What actual wrestling slipped in was mostly booked around ref distractions and flash pin attempts with an occasional big move thrown in."

[7.0] "Exactly the kind of wild, overbooked mess you'd expect from an ECW main event. Easily the best match of the night so far."

[6.0] "This was a regular match so I have no idea how nobody got dqued I'm assuming its cause its an ECW world title match. I'm sure I would have liked this more if I was a big dreamer fan like everybody back then"

[7.0] "Douglas was a major heel and Dreamer came off as a huge face. The valets in their corners both got involved a lot. Dreamer and Douglas had great chemistry together and the crowd was into this match. Title being on the line meant we knew who would win but still enjoyable"

[7.0] "The best match on the show so far, with Douglas doing a great job of pissing off the crowd pre match, and playing the cowardly heel well. Dreamer also gave it his all, which wasn't something he did all the time, so we had a genuinely good wrestling/brawling combo of the sort ECW occasionally did really well."
