The match itself was really really good, El Lindaman had a phenomal performance, they made him look like such a bid deal at the end, putting away both Kawakami and Tamura, I just didn't like how this match became such an overbooked mess at the end. It was so weird to see how the heels started to cheat and StrongHearts didn't do shit despite being ringside, like they eventually helped El Lindaman but way too late."
[8.0] "This match should be used as the starting point for any fan wanting to get into GLEAT. Great introduction to the main factions, stars and the focal points of GLEAT."
[5.0] "There was really no point in not having everyone start at the same time, since the entrance intervals were so short, and there was barely any time for anything to really happen in the meantime. Even once everyone had entered, even though there were some interesting spots here and there, most of the match was mostly just generic wrestling. Also, this match was too long for these guys, because they were struggling with trying to keep things interesting."
[9.0] "I'm not a big fan of multiman matches like this but they proved me wrong here. The storyline of being GLEAT's top stable was told well. Focused on the youngsters as the top rope elimination rule added some great suspense to the match. I was worried about watching a 42-minute bout but that went by fast. Good finish as well."
[4.0] "This reminded me of an AEW-style multiman, only it lasted an almost unbearable length of time. I'm not a huge fan of the style in general but this match displayed some of the worst from it. Quiet Storm acting like he's going to perform a superplex to the empty side of the ring while everyone stumbles around on his opponent's side telegraphed what was going to happen, and then it still took ages to actually happen. Hayato missed a lariat as Cima rolled under and then had to stand acting groggy for no reason, facing the other way while Cima regained his footing and completed the rest of the spot. The match was full of that kind of "The spot comes first" mentality, which to me made this the weakest match of the entire show. I'd almost rate it a '5' because of the effort put forth but this match just made me feel so tired and exhausted. Just not my thing, I guess."
[9.0] "Simply awesome. Great wrestling from top to bottom with amazing teamwork and very good coordination. The bout has a properly crafted story and easy to follow flow, which are obviously on CIMA's account. It's stunning how good can non-DG guys work with CIMA's plan, that's what good match booking really is. The one who was a little out of touch with some spots was Hayato, but he still delivered his parts then he needed to kill someone with his rocket-hands. This match was not perfect, but just soooo much fun, I adore it. Final story bit was trully shocking, I'm so happy about it. GLEAT ending this year with some amazing showcase of talent, the future is bright. ****3/4 [31.12.2021] UPD: After some time I need to downgrade my rating. I think the match is actually amazing, but it has so much small problems, that I now think it deserves a lower rating. To me this was a promising start which leads to matches even better than this. ****1/2 [06.01.2022]"
[7.0] "Even combined with obvious 'I've seen this somewhere before' thought, this wasn't much more than a fun match where everyone got their time to shine, and the only really memorable thing here was Lindaman vs. Tamura finishing stretch. They did everything right, but matches like these should be a truly big deal instead of a 'we need a big match to draw for our big show' type of a deal."
[9.0] "I didn't understand what was going on at first cause I didn't pay attention to the rules but even then I don't speak japanese, but this was awesome, just a big fucking crazy brawl for the first 10 minutes, BULK Orchestra beat up a guy I didn't know, it was an amazing shitfest until it nicely turned into a 10 man tag, then it dissolve again into a shitfest, Irie was the first eliminated which makes sense cause he looks out of place in GLEAT (not in STRONGHEARTS, just in GLEAT), then slowly the teams were slimming down, match got controlled then in turned into insanity again many times, until it turned into a 2v1, Lindaman as the sole survivor, and damn is he good, getting to eliminate Hayato Tamura staying only with Kawaki, and at this point you'd think it would be a nice match until the end, but then Shimatani interrupted and it turned again into a shitfest, and at first I wasn't sure about it but it was very good, everyone hhit their nice spots and then the guy that got beat up at the start returned and hit a cool twisting splash, and at this point I deduced he was a former STRONGHEARTS member, then Lindaman hit the tiger suplex on Kawakami and the match ended, and jesus this really was a rollercoaster, amazing match, the guy that gave it a 4 stinks btw"
[4.0] "I saw all the praise online for this and I was looking forward to watching it but I ended up absolutely hating it. The first 10 minutes were about as boring as pro wrestling can get when the workers in there are actually good. The babyfaces looked dumb as hell letting themselves get jumped by the heels every single simultaneous entrance. Once the action got going then it was pretty good but so many of the spots were utterly contrived. The worst offender being the double elimination of Quiet Storm and Issei which had the rest of the wrestlers fake brawl for an absolute age as they set the spot up. At the finish the babyfaces again looked incredibly dumb by just standing and watching as the heels interfered and filled the ring with chairs after a comedy ref bump. They finally got involved as everyone hit their big move. The babyfaces only won in the end because Yamamura came out to help which is interesting psychology. Just awful. El Lindamans tan is still fabulous however."
[10.0] "This was probably the most bonkers match of 2021 and you should do yourself and watch this. If the first half of the show is a callback to UWFs glory days, then this match is a DragonGate tribute. Just amazing spots, so many that I can? t name. El Lindaman is a star in every fashion."
