[7.0] "Riho is fun to watch imo. Britt Baker towers over her, but their dynamic is a fun one to watch, especially when Riho gets the upset victory over her.."
[5.0] "WoW, Rampage and Chicago getting a prime women's matchup as the middle-(wo)man match. Baker contributed to Hayter's loss on Wednesday; Y is Jamie accompanying her to-the-ring? Speaking of the champ, Y was the segment with her and Tony literally right-after Baker f'd Jamie's chance in the TBS tourney? Poor sequencing. Is the far more experienced and skilled Riho rolling-up Baker really an upset C Jericho? Fine pacing but pretty forgettable, if serviceable, action. 2 3/5"
[6.0] "Another decent match from these two. It was cool to Riho wrestling and winning on tv again. I hope Riho continues to show up on tv after this title program is over."
[8.0] "Really good match here, I think these two may do even better on the rematch but this was quite good, showed some nice chemistry I thought. Good to see Riho back on Tv."
[7.0] "Riho still had her hype and went all out against Baker. Crowd's reactions helped but both women managed to have some chemistry and put on some good sequences. Hayter and Rebel were decents outside. Not a fan to witness a champion's defeat in a mano a mano, do it like the japanese way even if the booking tried to protect Baker."
[6.0] "I personally liked the match but it's never good to see champions lose, especially since the rematch feels like it's going to be super predictable, lets hope they subvert our expectations. ***"
[7.0] "This was a good, solid, clean match. These two actually meshed nicely together despite not working together that much. The Baker/Riho title match has potential to be very good. [***1/4]"
[5.0] "Mostly okay other than the lack of impact and spotty selling. The biggest thing which brings this down for me is that part of the match was cut. I don't think that can ever be anything other than a negative. Most matches will look better if you cut parts from them, but it's just not the complete picture."
[4.0] "Britt Baker is supposed to be a mean heel so you'd think Riho would be the perfect opponent for her to bully around but it was just the same stuff as always. Riho's snap dragon suplex was more intense than anything Baker did to her."
[5.0] "This was about as good as it could be, but man, Britt Baker is the most pushed woman on the roster, the champion, and top heel in the division and... she cannot sell for shit or throw a convincing strike. Riho lands a double stomp from the top and Britt just gets up. They go for forearm exchanges while commentary says how stiff they're being, but the camera has to cut to their backs where you can't see anything other than the fact they're not using my force there."
[7.0] "So happy to see Riho back on TV, nerds can complain about her being small and skinny, the truth is she's easily one of the best female wrestlers in currently in North America. She gave Britt her best TV match since the match with Rosa all the way in March. Very good. ***1/2"
[7.0] "Honestly on felt on track to be better than Baker's last few title matches, with Riho showing off how effortless her offense looks for her; the way she moves in the ring is so natural and makes her big moves look extra smooth. Britt is a good foil to her, as she's better at playing the heel than actually leading a match. However, she eventually can't keep up and gets flash-pinned to set up a title match, which I think could be really great based on this taste. ***1/4+"
[6.0] "I am the low man on Riho and also a very grumpy old man about title holders being pinned in singles matches without title already on the line but this match made sense and sets up a match for Battle of the Belts without eating up a defence where Britt is at risk of losing."
[7.0] "Fun match between Baker and Riho here and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised to say that, simply because I wasn't expecting to enjoy it at all like I did because I was expecting something soporific to watch. In the end I found the chemistry between the two interesting, I find Britt Baker very average in the ring and I haven't enjoyed a match of her since her title match against Red Velvet in the first Rampage, but she made up for it well here by delivering one of her most convincing performances since she became champion. She was a solid heel who didn't need forty interventions from Hayter & Reba (although there was only one but usually that's worse), she showed some good stuff and she made her opponent shine. I must also point out Riho's cool performance, it's nice to see her in matches like this again and I think she's improved. The roll-up finish doesn't bother me under these circumstances because it puts Riho even more in that underdog role because in her title match Britt is really going to be ruthless."
[7.0] "A rare loss for The Good Doctor, though I was surprised that Riho got it done with a roll-up. I'd have thought the dissension with Jamie Hayter would have come into play if Baker were to lose, but that will be down the line I suppose. The rematch for the title should be really good."
[7.0] "Riho is one of the best female wrestlers at AEW, and deserves to get a title rematch, even if she's not likely to actually win it back. Britt can go well against the right opponent, and Riho is one of those, making for a strong match, probably the best she's had since the Light's Out match with Thunder Rosa."
