[7.0] "A good match, it was technically inclined and consisted of the hard-hitting aspect as well. The mat-based wrestling and grappling was a pleasure to watch as well. The match progressed in fine fashion however the issue was the slow and plodding pace which hindered it from turning into something special and extraordinary. Another big flaw was the referee bump which was a perfect example (one of the many) of BC's overbooking in matches. The finish was very dissatisfying too and really hurt the legitimacy of the match. Still good enough imo. ***1/2"
[4.0] "They absolutely didn't deliver. The action was slow and stale. Lethargic match and the finish left a sour taste in my mouth. Expected more. Disappointing. **"
[6.0] "That was obviously too long but that still a solid match. That war of words was fun as well they did some serious wrestling. Fun match, both KENTA and GOK put on good performances, they carried each other. Good to see that."
[5.0] "Although the match dragged a bit at times, the final few minutes were excellent. KENTA was the star of this one with his striking and character work, including his improved use of the steel chair, the amazing spot with the hat of Great-O-Khan, the awesome slap exchange, and the shocking ending. And while I am a Great-O-Khan fan, I do admittedly give this a lower rating because the match suffered a bit when he was in control. I cannot deny the great ending, however, nor the fantastic work KENTA put forth. 5 out of 10. Cut the length and it is much higher."
[4.0] "Slow, boring, long. The holy trinity of crap. Boy. After GOK's performance against ZSJ I'd hoped for better but I just don't think KENTA has it in him anymore. Both guys looked totally checked out and just going through the motions. Don't see how anyone could enjoy this. **"
[4.0] "KENTA went from funny man, to chicken sh*t heel, to super dangerous striker, to Eddie Guerrero lie, cheat and steal a winner. He's all over the place at the minute. GOK's legit background didn't come through here, as when he had clean shots on KENTA he had a light touch."
[2.0] "These two jerks kept mocking each other on Twitter and it was very funny and it actually got me a little bit excited to watch this match, but at the end of the day, it was pretty boring and dumb. Seriously, KENTA is suffering the same thing as EVIL: When the match starts to get good, his dirty tricks ruins it all. Also, this felt way too fucking long. **1/4"
[6.0] "It was a good match, and it doesn't happen often with Great O-Khan. The first half of the match was pretty uninteresting but the slapfest got me back in the action. Some good exchanges between these two that made me appreciate the second half. ***"
[7.0] "I liked the striking exchanges, and I really liked KENTA's character work with the weapons and putting O-Kahn's hat on before a vicious double stomp through a chair onto O-Kahn. Fun match."
[5.0] "This was extremely slow but I didn't think it was bad. I wouldn't recommend it, but I didn't hate it. Was mostly character work setting GOK up for his eventual babyface run, including the post match stuff. 5/10."
[6.0] "This match had some good elements to it.. Good technical work by O-Khan, some good slap exchanges from KENTA, some good character interaction also, but I don't think this match needed to go nearly 20 minutes. The constant interference, ref bumps in BC matches is beyond overdone and makes the finishing stretches unenjoyable. A decent match."
[5.0] "This match was absolutely nothing special, the action itself was solid at best, as it only really became nice at the end with a great slap exchange. However, the length was more than unnecessary, but that's an issue with a lot of matches this G1, the finish was also bad imo."
