Serena has an interesting story, going back to her days as a part of the Straight Edge Society with CM Punk in 2010. Since then, she had drug issues and even retired for about 5 years. So this was a culmination of several trials and tribulations by facing off against Thunder Rosa, a woman which was pointed by commentary that she looked up to Serena. The finish was a little sudden, but when Serena got the pin and won the title, I can just imagine what the crowd reaction would have been like with fans were in attendance. As is, this was still a great moment and I'm glad that Serena got to be a top women's champion at some point. ****"

[6.0] "This was a bit slower paced and less energetic compared to their matches in AEW and a little lacking in spark. The lack of a crowd hurts it as the dramatic moments they were trying for didn't pack much of a punch when they were played out to dead silence. Nice technical work though with good submission attempts and selling throughout."
