[3.0] "The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and The Road Dogg) are the ones who carried this match like an 80% of the time, and the ending of The New Age Outlaws retaining by DQ is something of them to then put a Suck It, it's mostly of the Attitude Era style. 3/10 [**]"

[4.0] "I personally think that The Headbangers getting the heat ALL on Billy here wasn't the best decision but to their credit Billy does sell well. I think the match itself is adequate at it's best and didn't really work in getting Headbangers over as heels, but the end spot was cool I guess with the revenge for the boombox attack but why did we need a DQ finish? I just felt very underwhelmed by this match for the most part. New Age Outlaws though are SUPER over."

[6.0] "The Head Bangers actually look effective as a heel team and surprisingly felt like something fresh added to an otherwise baron Tag Team division. They looked good in how they cut off the ring and isolated both of the Outlaws at one point in the match. It was a real shame it ended in a cheap DQ the way it did because I was really enjoying the match, but it was at least a good set up for a solid rivalry."

[5.0] "This felt like The Head Bangers were Champions in waiting, as they really took the fight to The New Age Outlaws and came across as strong Heel threat to the Champs. Both Road Dogg and Billy Gunn sold well and they managed to get the crowd invested in the contest the longer it went on. The wrestling wasnt amazing or anything, but it was solid stuff for the most part that followed the tag team formula. The finish was disappointing of course, but it was the first non-finish of the evening and it actually worked for the story they were telling with The Head Bangers due to eventually get another Title shot, so you can show it a bit more leeway"

The fans were into it and were gladly chanting for The Outlaws and they told a nice story of Road Dogg getting more and more irritated, until he finally decided to cause a DQ. I would prefer if they went for the actual finish, but it was still pretty decent."

[7.0] "Headbangers actually had pretty good potential as heels as their babyface run wasn't that great while New Age Outlaws work better in standard tag matches as the babyfaces, If WWF was more focused on "workrate" at this point there could have been some good tag action."

[4.0] "Mosh gets double teamed by the Outlaws. Neck breaker by Mr. Ass for two. RD in with a hip toss and a pair of dropkicks? as Thrasher comes in. Two count. Thrasher begs off and gets nailed in the corner. Cross corner clothesline and a headlock, but Mosh tags in and nails James to take control. Two count. Throat first drop on the top rope. Bangers double team as the crowd yells "Suck it" to encourage the champs. Road Dogg with a belly to back and hot tag to Gunn. Gunn cleans house with an avalanche to Thrasher and a press slam on Mosh. Thrasher pulls down the top rope and Gunn ends up outside, getting beat up by Thrasher. Two count by Mosh. Thrasher suplexes Mosh onto Gunn and comes off the top himself. It gets a two count. Side headlock, which Gunn powers out of. Flying head scissors by Gunn. Thrasher in to prevent a tag to Roadie. Jawbreaker by Thrasher for two. Mosh hammers Gunn while the ref is distracted. Sleeper by Thrasher, meanwhile. Billy reverses but gets suplexed. Mosh whips Thrasher into Gunn and charges, but Mosh gets caught with a suplex. Flapjack by the Headbangers as Roadie gets escorted out, and finally he flips out and finds a boom box at ringside, then blasts Mosh with it, drawing the DQ. They recycled the boombox angle from last year."

[6.0] "It does get a bit slow towards the end, and it's a bit too one-sided for my taste, but I'm pretty happy to see the Headbangers in more regular and more serious action. They've always been decent as a mid-card tag team that was mostly used as jobbers, but they thrive here against the DX boys. The ending was a bit screwy, and felt pretty unnecessary, and I'm a bit confused what the point of Billy Gunn getting mad at Road Dogg was considering they once again take the easy way out by getting themselves DQed, but this time Billy's fine with it?"
