Boa & Xia Li vs. Jake Atlas & Mercedes Martinez

Something where the faces got an upper hand. Unfortunately This would turn out to be the last matches in WWE/NXT For Jake & Mercedes as they both got future endeavored a little over a month later (Mercedes I bet was to return before that probably during the Raquel/Xia Match a month later)"

[3.0] "The match ended before it could even give up and I think that says a lot . Xia had some good kicks and Mercedes also showed off some good sequences with those right arms and knee shots . Atlas and BOA stuff was very random . Atlas is becoming so un-interesting and stale . The lack of character really hurts it and the he's going solo . Nothing much to say about this but that botch . Really a bad day for the best women's division in the world . *1/2"

[6.0] "Second best match of the night. Boa and Xia Li are a great team. I absolutely loved the Xia's Spinning Heel Kick at the end. It landed perfectly. Actually, it landed so good, the ref stopped the match, because Mercedes Martinez was out cold and unable to continue to fight. Holy smokes! That was awesome! Even though the match ended with a legit knockout, fortunately everybody behaved professional and nobody got hurt."

[5.0] "The match did not have a great construction, in fact I do not understand why Atlas helps Mercedes Martinez, now speaking of the in-ring action it was good with a very good rhythm and with the opportunity for everyone to stand out, however the fight is clouded by the injury suffered by Mercedes Martinez after a blow from Xia Li who has to be careful because it is not the first time he has injured someone, luckily it seems that it was not serious. 2. 5*"

[5.0] "Fine mixed tag, but with Mercedes Martinez getting too distracted by the 1, 000 year old Mei Ying up the ramp, and then Xia Li legit knocked her out with a spinning kick. Hope Mercedes is doing OK after that."

[3.0] "Why was Jake Atlas here again? Do we really have to do Mercedes Martinez getting distracted by the creepy lady in the chair for the 10th time? And holy shit, Xia Li fucking nailed Martinez. Hope she? s alright."

[2.0] "I'm surprised that this match is as highly rated, because I thought this was pretty actively bad. I love Mercedes and I enjoy Xia Li, but there is next to no chemistry here and it leads to matches that feel awkward and off. Boa does not feel ready to be in this position, he never really detracted but he also added nothing aside from being a target for some of Atlas' moves. Atlas looked the best here by far, but also, why was he even here? This match was essentially a clumsy encounter between the two women until a tag was made, Atlas would have a brief chance to shine, tag back out, Mercedes would yell at the ghost chick for a second, and repeat. Even the ending appeared to be botched and felt very noticeable. Hope Mercedes is doing okay!"

[4.0] "A solid mixed tag team effort, with Boa showing that he? s not just a body in the Tian Sha faction. Atlas & Martinez showed some good tag team work, and Li continues to look like an absolute killer in the ring. The sudden finish worked to this one's favor, but sadly resulted in injury to Martinez. [6.0] "A good tag team match here, Boa is the weak link but the 3 others shined well. I really liked the exchanges between Xia Li and Mercedes Martinez in that match, and also the finish was very cool. ***1/4"
