[6.0] "A good match for the variety of weapons and spots using them. This really had a toned down Attitude-era hardcore match feel with all of the toys and junk scattered everywhere. For what these three were allowed to do given the era, they used what they had effectively. The suplex on the trashcans was a really good moment. Now, what took me out of it and ruined my immersion entirely was the absolute late of triple threat urgency. I think there was only one time in the match where the third man not involved in a pin attempt broke it up. There were SO many times where a cover was happening, and the person not involved didn't even seem to be trying to muster the strength to try and break it up. It made it feel fake and hollow. Like they were saying "You all know this isn't the finish, so we won't pretend." A good match, and a great moment if you're a Dreamer fan, but nothing more special than being a good bout."

[6.0] "There were some decent spots scattered throughout, but overall this was a bit underwhelming. While they at least made fairly good use of the props, it was all pretty standard PG WWE hardcore fare with the usual trash cans, kendo sticks, etc. The abruptness of the finish undermined the emotional moment that they seemed to be going for. Special mention - Striker's horrid commentary where he attempts to call Dreamer by his real life name 'Thomas James Laughlin' for some stupid reason, only to mess it up and say 'John' for his middle name instead. Could he be any more cringeworthy?"

[7.0] "This was pretty good for the most part. It failed in the sense that it felt longer than it needed to be. But they made great use of traditional triple threat tropes and then added the weapons on top of that. Dreamer is hardly my favourite but he put in a big effort with his big bumps. He really brought all he had to the match and it got me on his side. Good performances from the other two as well. ***1/2"

[7.0] "I this match needed a couple more minutes to really get going but it was a fun little match. Swagger being such a terrible person, I had forgotten how much I enjoyed his work at this time while Christian is all round excellent and Dreamer was my ultimate sentimental favourite. The match and title change meant a lot to me and 11 years on I still remember."
