Pentagon Dark vs. Yurei

[7.0] "2nd MATCH OF THE GAUNTLET: Doesn't feature the kind of beautiful bumps that Doku (Kairi) took, but the offense on the outside is more interesting and dynamic. Some beautiful moves from both, and Yurei (Mayu) looks beautiful and dangerous with her smile. My only complaint, but a big one, is that a lot of Yurei's strikes whiff, don't connect or don't feel/sound impactful. She seems overly cautious to hit Penta for real, and that's a detriment to the match. Torn between a 6 or a 7."

[6.0] "Mayu Iwatani against Pentagon now. Pentagon just making everyone look good tonight, not that they need his help. This match wasn't as good as the first, but Mayu is great at all times here."

[7.0] "So funny to notice that Penta basically faced three female goats at the same night just for fun lol, Lucha Underground was just the Mount Rushmore of prowrestling. Anyway, good match"

[8.0] "(Grade:B) A step-up from the first match in the gauntlet, Yurei/Mayu Iwatani got the upper hand in the match with some nice brawling on the outside playing with the crowd and relishing in it. Also, some good back & forth too as well as that beautiful setup from diving Molly Go Round into the Package Piledriver and the shot of Yurei face throughout was funny ngl."

[10.0] "Crowd was paying full attention after the first match was over, but they didn't really know what to expect from this (second) match. They didn't really know how different this match will be compared to the previous one, but my fucking god, they were craving for more after that fucking insane finish. Obviously the next match was all about great GIFs and it was just a tremendous highlight reel, but without this match none of that would be nearly as memorable as it was. This match did it's part pretty much to perfection, and that post-match promo was fucking awesome too."

[6.0] "This was a nice little match between Pentagon and Mayu. The early brawling was fine but once they started trading strikes and Pentagon started to work Mayu's leg it got really good. Absolutely sick ending with the Package Piledriver. ***"

[8.0] "Another cool match in this gauntlet. Here Yurey has already adjusted to the style of the lucha-libre, but they quickly lost the initiative. The error in the match was that the girl did not repopulate the knee injury and performed the reception from the ropes, just where the pressure goes to the legs."

[7.0] "This was not the best out of the three matches but Pentagon did sell for Yurei and it was very believable the offense she got in"

[7.0] "Another fun bout. It starts out awesome and has some fun brawling, although it felt less impactful than the first match. Mayu also isn't quite as locked into the character as Kairi was, which is endearing but a little noticeable and took me out of the match occasionally. Fun stuff though and I'd love to see a longer match especially with current head of Stardom Mayu."

[7.0] "It was a good match, I like Pentagon Dark's gimmick here and the finish was very brutal as he does with his gimmick. Yurei ( Mayu Iwatani ) was awesome in this match, very agile and strong. I loved Pentagon's Package Piledriver, it was violent and Pentagon didn't do a neckbump spam like he does in tag team contests. ***1/2"

[6.0] "I gave this match *** stars out of five. It wasn't as good as the match that Pentagon had in this gauntlet, but still not horrible. I would have loved to see these two go for a longer match."

[9.0] "And Pentagon vs. Mayu Iwatani! This whole episode was so wild and really I loved every bit of it. One thing I loved about Lucha Underground is it was never about man vs. woman, it was just about two kick ass wrestlers kicking ass, and they did exactly that."
