[6.0] "The pre match hype and stipulation lead me to believe this would be a nonstop hardcore plunder spotfest but that was only half the match. The match opens with the trios respecting the tag rules which would make sense if this wasn't some kind of blood feud. Realistically this match should kick off as soon as Sandman and Co get anywhere near the ring. The wrestling during this portion is good but weirdly not fit for the tone. Tommy Dreamer and D-Von Dudley have a mat wrestling exchange and Spike Dudley sells big time for Buh Buh Ray Dudley. Sandman eventually tags in against Big Dick Dudley who is sold as ECW's giant despite being only one inch taller than Sandman. After these exchanges the match finally devolves into an array of table and ladder spots that are really fun and brutal. Its your standard structure of hit a big move, another guy comes but it's way more energizing than the first half of the match. Yea from what I've seen of classic ECW this was a pretty standard affair and the best moments are reserved for outside of the bell rings"

Once the bell rang it was immediate chaos, everyone getting their stuff in and brawling everywhere. The expected team came out on top, but the post-match beatdown and New Jack's run-in gave the finish a nice touch."

Outside of that it's a really good laugh, more classic car crash ecw tag nonsense but they hot insane ladder bump after insane ladder bump and it's so brutal it stays quite compelling. It's not quite as funny in it's chaos as the 4 man tag on this card but still very entertaining and the post match stuff with New Jack is awesome"

[6.0] "Decent messy plunder-filled brawl that had some comedy moments also. The tag rules were stuck to for about 5 minutes until it became what it became. Definitely lacked the drama & heat for what this was built upon, as Tommy was the first in the ring and was so filled with hatred for The Dudley Boyz after they broke his wife Beulah's neck... that he used Wrestling moves on them! like...c'mon guys, this ain't that hard is it? at least hide Tommy and his fire for when the time is right for it."

[6.0] "You may be surprised that at the moment the main event of the evening has far less ratings than the rest of the matches of the evening. But the middle of the show was so cool and dynamic and brutal that after the Taz & Bam Bam fight, this match is really a bit difficult to watch, and this despite the fact that it is played by people that most people associate ECW with [only Raven is not enough]. Dudley's promo before the match completely killed the momentum of the whole show, after which neither I nor the audience in the arena were omobo charged for this match. It was supposed to be a big moment for Spike, who really deserves it, but unfortunately it chaos was just boring to watch. ***"

[7.0] "If you want to enjoy this match, do not go into it expecting big high flying spots or technically sound counter wrestling like maybe you saw in the previous matches. This was just an all out brawl and if you keep that in mind, this match is fun as fuck. Sandman and Dreamer against the two core Dudleyz in Bubba and D-Von is good stuff as usual. Spike throws himself around with reckless abandon, and Big Dick is inoffensive. New Jack's run in gets a huge pop, and the closing image of the match and the PPV of Sandman, Dreamer and New Jack all standing triumphantly on the ladders as Spike marches defiantly around the ring is an image that will live forever for ECW."

[7.0] "We are treated to a promo from the Dudley clan before the match which sees them gloat about breaking Beulah's neck. The Dudleys were downright despicable during their ECW run. To my surprise, this actually starts out as a normal tag match with one guy from each team in at a time before this match breaks down into chaos. Bubba and Spike are the two strongest workers here and they get a chance to showcase this when they are both legal men. Spike is a phenomenal bumper and Bubba knows how to get an audience to hate him and to get them behind a babyface in peril. The match starts to come apart once Big Dick and Sandman fall to the outside and everyone else leaves the apron and they fight all over the place. All the carnage allowed the weakest workers in this match to be protected. The entourage of the Dudleys (Sign Guy Dudley, Jeff Jones, and Joel Gertner) get involved and start stooging for the babyfaces, which is a great way for the Dudleys to keep their heat while letting the good guys get their revenge. We also get a great post-match, which sees New Jack come out and clean house after Jack Victory attacks Dreamer. This isn't going to blow anyone away, but it's a good hardcore match that ended the PPV on a high note."

[2.0] "This was chaotic. This was wild. This was insane, great brawling. Yes, I am describing the post match brawl when New Jack showed up, saving us from *this*. The actual match however was nothing like that. There were some creative spots like D-Von and Dreamer fighting over the crowd seats with everyone scattered but the rest was standard brawling that lacked the hate to match the feud.Dreamer bugging his eyes a few times doesn't count as that imo. Sandman was piss drunk, clearly. So uncoordinated and sloppy. At one point he stopped punching Bubba Ray in the face to call a spot before continuing punching him in front of the hard camera. Mate' *1/2"

Bubba is deep into his 'has one too many pies with his dinner' era so Christ knows why he is calling someone fat in the crowd. It's your standard ECW brawl with occasional fun as Spike gets chucked about. Eventually it ends and New Jack comes out to do New Jack things which I'll always enjoy."

Doesn't really feel like the blood feud that the Beulah 3-D storyline setup with the chain wrestling between Tommy and D-Von at the start and the involvement of the ref later on but who cares. Everyone got their spots in, everyone got their shine in the match. A good main event for ECW's best ever show."
