Dr. Britt Baker DMD vs. Leyla Hirsch

[0.0] "Just a terrible match. Baker is a very poor wrestler and Hirsch barely did anything and what she did do looked awful. Baker hit possibly the worst Superkick and Slingblade I've seen in my entire life. A 0/10 might seem like overkill but there was not a single redeeming quality about this."

[5.0] "An average match with Leyla being the better performer. can you believe it , a newcomer outperforming someone who is an AEW women's division original. Britt failed to hit the low dropkick and the sling blade to the outside properly. I like the mat wrestling and technical ability of Leyla which was in full display here . The reversals into the armbar was a pleasure to watch as well. Not enough content . Was able to find out why people hate Britt so much. **1/2"

[2.0] "Baker is a pretty bad in-ring wrestler and Hirsh didn't do much to prove that she's good, just a short match that didn't mean anything and didn't have anything cool"

[2.0] "This match felt really sloppy, performances both from Britt Baker and Leyla Hirsch were not very good. Someone like a no-nonsense mat wrestler like Hirsch should not be tapping out, in my opinion. Additionally, that might've been one of the worst superkicks I've ever seen. (*)"

[7.0] "A good match that I think is being a little underrated here. Leyla is a great in ring talent and I hope they are ready to use her well. Baker isn't my favorite in ring talent but she's the character AEW needs in their women's division right now, and did fine here."

[6.0] "I thought this was a very well worked and technical ladies' match its only negative was the result was pretty clear going in. The post match angle with Thunder Rosa was poorly shot due to the way that she dressed and how they rushed to commercial without showing her face, made it much less iconic."

[5.0] "It was fine, until interruptions started happening and lots of outside interferences. Why every match has to end with a brawl?"

[5.0] "Solid effort, nothing special. Both women impress and I was not a huge fan of a technical wrestler like Hirsch tapping out. But overall it was an okay match but tge women's division continues to be AEW's weakest division. **1/2"

[5.0] "Could have been real good if they gave it the time it needed, luckily Leyla looks so good and Britt is improving enough that you could see the potential in a future match for them. Still I was disappointed as this felt like a proving match that didn't get the space to prove anything."

[3.0] "A real nothing match. The Baker situation is a weird one. She has the limelight as if she's a good wrestler, but she isn't a good wrestler. So what do AEW do to hide that weakness? They put her in competitive matches with inexperienced jobbers. Another post-match brawl which likely sets the stage for another tag match."

[8.0] "Britt Baker, before her match, says she was really excited to come back and fuck up Thunder Rosa who doesn't belong to AEW. Britt says she'll send Leyla back to Russia tonight. Tony calls her a bitch. He'll pay for that, inevitably. After Britt gets the submission on Leyla with the Lockjaw, Thunder Rosa comes out and beats the everloving shit out of Britts face. """REBA""" gets some shots in on Thunder Rosa, then Leyla kills Reba for a second time (Britt pulled her in the way of a dive earlier). It legit takes more refs, trainers, and coaches to keep Britt and Rosa apart than it did Pac and Eddie a couple weeks ago. Absolute palpable hatred between Britt and Rosa."

[5.0] "Britt is not a very good wrestler at this point but i do really enjoy Layla? s work even if this didn? t really hold up to her match with deeb. AEW seems to care so much about in ring action except when it comes to the women besides Hikaru and Nyla most of the featured women who aren? t nwa are pretty bad wrestlers with Britt, swole, abandon, Anna jay, and brandy. At least Britt can cut a good promo but it? s hard to justify letting the women have more wrestling time when they don? t hire much in ring talent for the women? s division."
