[7.0] "A very good match between Robbie and Hiromu, but much like the matches that follow this one, they just didn't reach the level of greatness. The clap-only crowd may be the reason here, or maybe it's Robbie striking that looks weak, but the way they constructed this one was fantastic. 3.75 Stars."

[10.0] "This was brilliant and much better than I thought it could possibly be, Robbie looked like a million bucks here, he had incredible high flying offense, some great strikes, and his targeting Hiromu's leg was very well done and Hiromu sold it very well, great back and forth, some incredible reversals and sequences, Hiromu was fantastic as always and matched Robbie's incredible performance"

[10.0] "This was some legendary stuff right here . Definitely the MOTN and match of the tournament until now. I loved it from start to end . It was very fast paced and the starting sequence was spectacular with both men showing their quickness and agility. This match brought the fire and was high intensity action . This match felt different from what I have seen in the whole tournament. A breath of fresh air from these two talented workers. This match had amazing psychology mainly due to the stellar selling by Hiromu on the leg and that aided in the story telling department as well . I liked Hiromu using heelish ways to gain victory showing he will go any length to win. The elimination of Robbie at stake added drama to the match , especially the part where Robbie had him in the leg lock and I though Hiromu would tap out. It had some hilarious moments as well like Hiromu taunting Robbie by chanting Robbie Robbie Robbie . That was hilarious as hell. The apron spot with Robbie connecting with the backpack was awesome and Hiromu teasing the countout win for Robbie was great and deserves appreciation. This match had me on the edge of my seat as I did not want any one of them to lose. They still delivered one hell of a wrestling masterpiece . I also liked the hard hitting elements present in this match with Hiromu being relentless with those chops onto Robbie . This is a must watch . High voltage from start to end . Incredible chemistry and wrestling substance and some really fun counters , sequences and series of offense. It even had a large amount of suspense . the workrate was incredible. A instant classic for the BOSJ this year from two of the best. ****3/4"

The storytelling with Hiromu's leg was great. Just a fantastic match all around. Eagles has been a machine all tournament long and so has Hiromu, and both lived up to the expectations of what is expected of a Korakuen headliner. Plus Hiromu got to play a heel again for once and it was so much fun. ****1/2"

The build of the match was kinda awkward and the rythm was not there. Hope that the next time they fight the match is more solid because they are capable of a spectacular match."

These cards have had a really lulling pace and atmosphere and it's making the better matches not stand out quite as much as they should. I thought this was a pretty solid match but I didn't feel anything, possibly because the rest of the card put me half to sleep by the time the match started. Some pretty good action in this one though, I'll give it that."

[7.0] "I couldn't get invested, Robbie Eagles carried so much Hiromu here, the same Hiromu in every match is starting to be boring to me, he should recreate himself I think, Eagles shined the most and I don't liked the ending, it stills a good match but not a must see of this BOSJ to me. ***3/4"

[9.0] "Best match of the tournament so far and a star making performance for Robbie Eagles. The match paced perfectly for the 26 minutes, with a very entertaining and hot start to an ending that saw Robbie almost win the upset. Hiromu's sell of the leg work by Eagles was awesome too, making it difficult for him to deliver some moves or basically just not being able. It was a great match that showcased the best from Robbie and definitely some really good work from Hiromu. ****1/2"

[10.0] "Awesome match here, and in my opinion Robbie Eagles best performance to date. Hiromu and Eagles had great chemistry, with some amazing counter sequences that reminded me at times of Ospreay and Shingo. Robbie's offense looked so creative and innovative, with some stuff I've never seen before. This was just the classic New Japan main event formula that always delivers. I wouldn't be surprised to see this net 5 stars."

[10.0] "Masterpiece. Robbie Eagles in this match literally fought to the death to win over the main star of the division, because in case of defeat, he will be mathematically eliminated from the tournament. Incredible action and hard spots. The Eagles worked on Hiromu's leg, and he sold it excellent! After that match, Robbie became a real star. Hiromu Takahashi is already a star, he's a superstar, wonderful, greatest, G. O. A. T. superstar! Best match of the tournament! Rating: ****3/4 (4. 75)"
