[8.0] "What a travesty that -- with my rating here now included -- this fantastic match has only TWO ratings. I'm not at all being hyperbolic when I say that this was easily one of the best DG/DGUA matches I've ever seen. Kamikaze were great as the brutish heels, while World-1 were natural babyfaces with their flashy and agile attacks. Their work in the first 10 minutes was lacking in creativity, but they all still worked well. It was after those first 10 minutes that the pace picked up and that both teams' tag work started to get more focus, resulting in the match quality noticeably picking up. Everyone showed perfect chemistry, technique, and impact with everything they attempted in those final 15 minutes. The drama somehow just kept picking up as all 6 men absolutely gave it their all, producing a fantastic atmosphere. The fantastic Hulk-vs-Shingo action in the final few minutes helped bump the match up to being one of my favourite in DGUSA history, and one of my top 10 DG matches too. I seriously can't believe how many vastly inferior DGUSA matches have received ratings of 8.00+ while this match, head and shoulders above almost all DGUSA matches (at least those up to this match's point in time), is so unknown. If you love the Dragon Gate style, this match is absolutely a hidden gem that you should desperately seek out. ****1/4"
[9.0] "Another classic style Dragon Gate faction warfare 6-man to build up to Hulk finally facing off against the Kamikaze members on the next shows. Gradual build up to the eventual barrage of nonstop spots and moves, and it's glorious."
