[7.0] "We've unfortunately lost a chunk of the first fall, but what we have of this match is really good. In the first fall, Dory works his advantage on that mat, wearing Baba down, and then in the open section we get a good tempo exchange, leading to Dory actually getting the upper hand and hitting a jumping boot, the Butterfly, and then the Backdrop Suplex to take the pin. Baba gets a curious pin on the second fall, rolling over a bridging pin of Dory's for a pin of his own. Dory has worked on the legs in the second fall via the Spinning Toehold, and goes back to this for the third fall, but Baba now takes control in the open section and Dory drags them both outside, where they brawl to countout. Dory then asks for overtime, and Baba agrees, and we have a good scrappy last five minutes to TLD. Good story and layout (as far as the layout survives), fun twist on the double countout, good workrate and moves used. A complete first fall might elevate this further, depending on quality. 3.5/5"

[7.0] "This match is for the PWF Heavyweight Championship, that Giant Baba won in beating Bobo Brazil on February 27, 1973. It's a two out of three falls match, as is almost always the case for an All Japan Title in the 1970s. Dory Funk Jr. won the first fall, with a butterfly suplex and a backdrop. (27:01) In the second fall, Baba equalizes, in countering dory's spining toehold with a rolls who pin Dory shoulders down. (2:32) Is in the final fall, Dory and Baba falling down to the outside, getting a double countout. (3:50) In the outside fall, Baba had injured his leg. Dory asks for five minutes more, and Baba agrees to this, despite his injury. The pace of the fourth falls is faster, it is normal knowing that both wrestlers have only 5 minutes to share. In the end, a draw is declared. After 4 falls, Giant Baba retain the PWF Heavyweight Title for the twelfth time. A good match, but not essential to see. (***1/2)"

[6.0] "The majority of the first fall has been clipped, but I quite enjoyed its finish, where Baba's on top until Dory counters a boot with a jumping front kick, then hits a butterfly suplex and a backdrop to go 1-0. However, the second fall sees Baba even the score, if somewhat strangely. After getting out of the spinning toe hold and pushing Dory back into the ropes, Dory runs back and does a sort of forward jumping roll while grabbing Baba's legs, only for Baba to roll himself back and pin his shoulders down. The final fall has Dory continues to target Baba's leg, and Baba sells it pretty well. When he recovers and has Dory against the ropes, Dory jumps to the top rope and sends Baba and himself falling down to the outside, getting a double countout. Dory goes outside and asks for five more minutes, and Baba agrees to this. The overtime mostly feels like a war of attrition between the two, which makes some sense due to how little time they have to put a potential win together, but does perhaps make it feel a little disconnected from the body of the match. I don't think this is a major match, and the severely clipped first fall makes the structure seem a bit stop-start (the more rapid later falls would definitely be more satisfying after a slower first fall), but if you like Baba and/or Dory I don't think it's a bad watch. ***1/4"
