[5.0] "I would say that this was the funniest match of the buy-in. It definitely was not the best technical match, but had some moments that made me laugh. The worst thing about the match was how they botched the very end of the match, but still was not a horrible match. [**1/2]"
[3.0] "Even Orange Cassidy couldn't make me love this one. Call me a hater, because I think there was too many people involved in this match, or too much stunt casting, but this just didn't work. I might be harsher on this because it's in the Buy In, but much like the first match of the night, I almost didn't continue watching the PPV right away. Overall an underwhelming exhibition and there's enough star power here this might have worked, but it fell flat. Probably a lot of fun for anyone in the arena, but for anyone watching on tv... lackluster."
[4.0] "[2.0*] I had high expectations for this match because Big Boom AJ, Roddy, OC, Briscoe and The STP absolutely rock, but this ended up being very short and just not very good. Sure, Big Boom gushing blood was godly and that Rizzler moment was great, but they really could've done something way better here given other pretty strong "Big Boom Family" buy-in showcases."
[5.0] "Well this was the first time i have felt disappointed after watching a match with AJ in it. But i wouldn't say it was his fault as most of his work was pretty sound but the structure of the match was not ideal. The fact it only got like 6 minutes was pretty rough for a 10 man tag as we were just rushing from spot to spot. So i didn't leave much impact on me . I liked the little bit between Roddy and Moriarty the most and that is a match i need to see soon as it will bang. I liked Harley and Christyan XO fighting over the Rizzler as it was so ridiculous it made me laugh a lot. The finish was meh they were clearly going for a double Boom and Doom but i guess the Vita Coco thrown by Justice and Riz made the turnbuckle slippery so QT had to bail and it became a rough look double powerboom for the 3. A pretty ok match would of benefited from being a trios match as it only had 6 minutes but i still liked some parts of it. (**1/2)"
[5.0] "Lot of bodies and not much structure, but the crowd stayed hot for it the entire time, which honestly carried it further than it probably deserved. Them TikTok Costco stuff definitely something AEW should scales back at some point."
[4.0] "Storytelling 6.5/10 / In-ring Quality 4.0/10 / Ring Psychology 3.5/10 / Crowd Reaction 7.0/10 / Charisma 7.5/10 / Pacing and Duration 4.0/10 / Originality 6.0/10 / Impact and Importance 4.5/10 At 6:31, the match was a relentless, breathless carousel of signature spots."
"Pretty terrible, but inoffensive as long as it's on the preshow. If this were truly last on the preshow and the lead-in to the PPV, I would be annoyed, because at this point I don't think Costco Guy is selling any PPV buys. But since they followed it up with the great Mick Foley/Darby/MJF angle, which I do think could have driven some last-minute buys, it's not a big deal. And frankly, I'm shocked we didn't get a reveal of a mystery person inside the sponsored coconut water costume."
[4.0] "I don't know, personally I'm really not a fan of the comedy side when it's done like this, with a bunch of wrestlers who have nothing to do with each other thrown into a chaotic match like that. Again, I understand that the goal is to get as many people on the show as possible, but the risk is that people just skip the pre-show like 90% of viewers unfortunately already do. There's honestly not much to comment on here, and my rating is genuinely negative because I really don't like this type of choice for a pre-show at all."
[2.0] "Pre-show "celebrity" advertising slop with no build nor meaning. If you're going to do this, don't bring the Conglomeration down with the rest of them. Obviously a lot of the competitors are competent, but this is just nightmarishly cringe inducing"
[4.0] "exactly as stupid and bit-driven and skippable as you'd expect it to be, but if we're being honest, no matter your thoughts as a serious wrestling fan, Big Boom AJ and the damn Rizzler get tremendous pops still and though it's unfortunate that this is his place in the card, Eddie Kingston gets a NUCLEAR reaction. this was a really excellent choice to loosen the crowd up and everyone was buzzing all night after it."
[5.0] "This match at Buy-In was relatively lackluster. For one thing, it was pure fan service for Big Doom, just to get him and his sons into this year's Double or Nothing, they gave them a filler match against a faction that's barely relevant in AEW's programming. So there you have it: just another match, and to top it off, it was the "closer" for Buy-In."
[4.0] "A decent light-hearted pre-show match, but nothing too impressive. A botch happened during the tower of doom spot near the end, leading to QT having to bail out to ringside, hopefully no injury happened because of it."
[2.0] "I wasn't expecting much, but it was almost worse than I anticipated. Very little interesting action and a somewhat comical ending, topped off with product placement. In-ring quality: 0.75/5. Stakes: 0.25/2. Justification: 0.5/1. Card placement: 0.5/1. Suspense: 0.5/1. Bonus/penalty: None. Total: 2.5/10. Match watched on the AEW YouTube channel."
[7.0] "They fit a lot in here for 6 and a half minutes with 10 people plus accompaniment. Roddy, OC, Shane & Moriarty were awesome as always, Infantry are a fun act, and Big Boom AJ knows exactly what he's there for. XO & Rizzler face-offs will never get old, especially with Harley around. The finish had something go awry which busted AJ open so he was celebrating covered in blood for no reason which was kind of sick. Nice Eddie run-in featuring Mancer & Ortiz to tie it in a bow. Ideal main for a preshow. ***1/4"
