Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix

[8.0] "Fenix won the first match, and here he gets his revenge. It's a shame the match was so short. The ending is well thought out because it allows Kid to win without weakening Fenix, it moves the story forward, and justifies a third match (which Rey has already given)."

[7.0] "This was a really solid match and incredibly entertaining, just a poor finish. It's setting up for another match though which I am sure will be great and probably their best yet. They did a lot in a short amount of time here. ***.5"

[8.0] "Freaking great match, full of finesse and high flying action with awesome fluidity throughout. AAA is doing an amazing job right now, and it is always an entertaining promotion to watch. The pacing was great, the sequences flowed effortlessly, and the high flying spots looked spectacular. Just a really fun match from start to finish."

[6.0] "This match has a very rocky start but it finally started to pick up. The first few minutes were very boring and I thought this was how the whole match was gonna be, thankfully things started picking up and became a very fun match. That destroyer DDT from Laredo to Fenix was nuts and I'm suprised Fenix was able to kick out of that. Plus the back and forth strike exchange was great, ended with Laredo hit a nice poison rana and Fenix fired back with a brutal looking suplex. Another thing I hated was it only got 8 freaking minutes. I prayed they'd get more time in their next match but instead, they got 1 less minute."

[8.0] "Another good match in the series between these two, even though it ended very badly. I expect Phoenix to win in the upcoming special and end Laredo's historic title run."

[8.0] "This was a very fun opener, and I didn't expect to see Laredo Kid turn heel as he did a dirty tactic to retain his title, but this was such a fun opener, both men were tearing it up in the end. I did like the ending, very unpredictable, and we saw Laredo Kid get desperate as he didn't wanna lose his title, but this was all-around great, and a rematch will occur in the near future."

[8.0] "VERY good lucha match. And I'm not big on the lucha style unless if it's older stuff but this was very good. Loved the Canadian destroyer style ddt from Laredo. Real good reaction on the low blow from Laredo. And I don't think it hindered the match much. Very good for 9 mins. (****)"

[8.0] "different than their previous match and I think as good or maybe better if you like this style of wrestling, short and with a screwy finish but we are getting the rematch next week in what seems to be the end of the feud and if this match tells me something is that they are going to bring everything to have another great match"
