Adam Page is the right guy to offer his services and be too clueless to say anything other than he's married. Aubrey Edwards is eating the scenery in this match as the referee. You might think an animal is dying outside your house while this match plays. It is just her, off camera. This is the match on the show that could have been a draw. The crowd was asking for a table break or something."
[8.0] "I'm feeling flipped on this from most people. Sure the crowd wasn't super into it but I thought this was an absolute banger and dare I say the best Andrade match since his return. Andrade and Hangman have a very similar striking and high flying hybrid offence so seeing them go toe to toe clicks perfectly for me. Highlight for sure was Andrade telegraphing that spring board lariat into a Spanish fly, simply beautiful sequence. Also loved Hangman stealing Andrades little fan girl spot but rejecting a kiss because he's a married man. That's cowboy shit. The Swerve and Omega matches were no doubt good but this one specifically had a more big fight feel and I think sub consciously that's because the stakes were more blatant. Hangman getting a title shot next isn't the most daring decision but it does make far more sense than a double heel main event at Revolution."
[7.0] "[7, 50/10, 0] It's a pretty good match. It's not one to remember, but it's good, with some nice moves and sequences. I'm not a big fan of either Adam Page or Andrade, but they work together quite well."
[7.0] "This got off to a brilliant start and with two workers as good as these two the work was of course tremendously crisp. It was building to a compelling finale but they held a little something back and went for the DCF back-fire finish."
[7.0] "My feeling was that this match was the opposite from Take vs. Mox: faster match, with a "not so good" ending. The good things were there: moves, counters, the crowd was into it; but, in the time to wrap it up, it didn't live to my expectations, which is annoying, because I was into the match. (***3/4)."
[6.0] "***3/4 Good match, good chemistry, they worked well together, both are very talented and versatile which helped them although they could have done better, good sequences, good intensity, interesting rhythm, perhaps they should have had a more marked and better escalation of pace and intensity, because the match never felt like Andrade was really close to winning nor that Hangman was cornered, and the importance of the match was nil, it seemed like a fight for nothing, good ending, Hangman avoids the low blow and gives one to Andrade and finishes him off with the Buckshoot Lariat, the match felt like a good weekly show match that has nothing at stake, and not like a fight for the No. 1 Contender for the World title on PPV"

Almas comes into the match with plenty of momentum, while Adam Page's standing alone is enough to identify the performers here as high quality. Technically, it's all very solid, but it remains to be seen whether it will end Andrade's short push already."
[7.0] "Those last days was really rough for anyone who consider himself an Hangman Adam Page fan. I am not even gonna waste my time talking about it, that match here really had some cools spots and moments I wasn't expecting them to do. The photo angle was pretty funny (social media didn't took it easy) and the ending was good, well executed and make Andrade goes out of that match still stronger. The only reason I am giving this match an seven is because that was NOT the point to give Hangman another title shot, man. Tony is really an fucking coward as a booker, Andrade winning here would hype anyone to see someone new going into the world title scene. But eh, let's keep with the same, why not? Whatever."
[7.0] "This match was solid but both men really failed to showcase their full potential. It worked well for the most part but felt really to get into that next level classic match. I expected Hangman to win even though I wanted Andrade. Great match though ***1/2"
[5.0] "[2.5*] A solid match, typical of a weekly show, although I felt it was below par for a special event. They were solid, and Andrade, in particular, once again delivered a good performance, something that has been recurring since his return to AEW. The Spanish Fly was undoubtedly the best moment of the match, and apart from that, nothing else seemed to highlight the importance of the match, perhaps because the crowd wasn't invested enough or because TK's PPV booking is so predictable that it ends up making the matches less appealing. The ending was quite strange, and babyface Adam Page didn't seem at all connected to the crowd, either in this match or appearing after the main event."
[7.0] "Maybe it's because I wanted Andrade to win but I found this to be a little underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good match no doubt about that. But I expected more. it wasn't as technical and past paced as I would hope to be. I liked the spot where Hangman did what Andrade would usually do and that's take a selfie with a girl at ringside. Good match with the wrong winner, imo."
[7.0] "It's hard to imagine a world in which these two don't put on a really strong contest, especially when the result is in genuine doubt. Lots of really good work here; Andrade's back-elbow is phenomenally consistent and is a strike that always scratches an itch like a Takeshita forearm. This does, however, feel like the third consecutive match of the night where something was left in the tank; it was good without being exceptional and was missing a couple of big moments (the likes we got in Andrade vs. Swerve on Dynamite). Stick a nail-biting five or ten minutes with some big spots and kickouts on this and you have yourself a top-tier match."
[8.0] "I rated this a 8.0, Andrade's entrance got a pretty quiet reception, but the building came alive the moment Hangman Adam Page made his way out, with the crowd fully behind him. Random crowd sign "Remake Jazz Jackrabbit" sign, a rare person doing Dude Love cosplay in the front row, and an "Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! " chant after Andrade busted out the Three Amigos, briefly swinging the fans to his side, while Don Callis' involvement drew heavy boos. The two paused their violence long enough to compete for the best selfie with a young woman at ringside. The action was loaded with wild counters and near falls, including Page kicking out of both the Hammerlock DDT and the hesitating back elbow that Andrade used to try to counter the Buckshot. The standout moment came when Hangman went for his signature springboard lariat to the apron, only for Andrade to leap to the middle rope and meet him in midair with an incredible Spanish Fly for a heart-stopping near fall. Page also wowed with a backflip escape from a German suplex into a rolling lariat, a brutal pop-up powerbomb that spiked Andrade, and a fallaway suplex into the guardrail. The finish saw Andrade attempt a low blow counter to the Buckshot, but Hangman beat him to the punch literally before blasting him with the Buckshot Lariat to seal a hard-fought, win."
[7.0] "Good stuff overall. They clicked and it was smooth. Andrade especially feels locked in since coming back. Everything he throws looks good. I would not have complained if he walked out with it. Instead we get Page back in the mix again. Not mad, just... we have seen this movie before. Still, Andrade keeps stacking quality performances and that is what matters."

[6.0] "A little underwhelming but still pretty solid. Good performances from both guys, especially Andrade who is having an excellent year so far. Some good stuff in the first half too but i thought the match started to lose itself a bit as it went on past it's peak. Finish was really good though, with Hangman hitting Andrade with a low blow as payback for Andrade using that to beat Kenny in their match a few weeks ago. Not too thrilled about Hangman challenging for the world title again as i think Andrade is the far more interesting option and i am a bit over Hangman in the world title picture currently but its whatever. A solid match overall, but both men have done better this year. ***1/4"
[6.0] "Good match, even with my disgust about the result and a natural indifference about anything Hangman does right now, I think that was a very solid match, some things were kinda corny, like the finish for example and other control segments, but Andrade had a nice performance, that spanish fly looked great, and his moves landed very well as always, it's always cool to watch him wrestle, but it's a shame he didn't win. The finish of the match made me low the rating, but that was a very crisp performance from both sides, and specially Andrade - {**3/4}"

Yes, they did all the "professional wrestling moves" perfectly, chemistry was fine and there were some legit cool spots, like Andrade reversing Hangman's Springboard Lariat with a beautiful Spanish Fly, but I just knew (not via spoilers but via knowing Tony's a fucking coward) Hangman was going to win because the PPV headliners are always the same small group of men, so the whole thing felt very uninteresting for me. Crowd was also weird, which makes me wonder if they were uninterested too. Definitely a heatless match with a heatless winner, that had an awkward, absolutely silent staredown with MJF. You could hear the crickets. I just think this lacked the fire other Andrade matches had, or maybe Hangman's just not the guy anymore. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the match tho."
[7.0] "I personally thought Andrade should have won with the hot hand but both had a good case and I expect he would stay right in the main event scene either way. The finish was fantastic with Hangman countering Don Callis trick and helps Andrade not look weak either with that low blow to end it. [8.0] "Another really good match on this show but considering these are two of my favourite wrestlers in the whole world this match didn't quite reach the expectations that i had for it. Both men brought some great intensity in this match as they traded big strikes early on mixed with some nice technical wrestling with lots of cool counters as they had each others number. The segment with the fan had me fucking dying topped off by the fact Hanger turned her down because he is married. Back in the ring the match continued to be great Hanger hit a fucking crazy liger bomb with so much hight on it. Then Andrade countering the buckshot with the fake kick into the back elbow for a near fall was pretty sick. The finish with both men trying to do everything to win was great with Hanger getting the win after a dick kick, Deadeye and Buckshot after Don probably cost another one of the members of the family a big match. Overall a really good match bet it didn't quite reach my lofty exceptions based on both men's years so far. I really don't get the hate for Hangman winning. As his and MJF's match at Revolution last year is crazy underrated and their FD match was a fucking banger til the dumb finish so i am excited for them to have a third match. But i still think Andrade should of been the winner. (****1/4)"

The fan taking pictures, which Hangman brushed aside because he's married, the throw into the barriers. I liked seeing Andrade on the ropes; it reminded me of his NXT days. The ending protected Andrade, who lost at his own game. I was disappointed with the winner because Omega, Swerve, and others were competing for the title, and it was all for nothing."

Like I felt like there was more that could have been done between them, and that they only really scratched the surface. Also not sure about how I feel with Hangers going over here to go into what might be just another meh match with MJF."

We'll see what the future holds for Andrade, but I don't think his push is over it's clear they intend to keep him consistently in the main event, and I fully agree with that. The final segment served to protect Andrade after the loss."
[9.0] "This match was great. Another great match from Adam Page & another great match in Andrade's 2nd run.Both had amazing chemistry here. This had great counters, strikes, spots, sequences and more.The height Page got from that powerbomb to Andrade was kinda crazy. Bro that segment early on with Andrade and the fan had my dying, but I laughed even harder when Adam Page decided to take a photo with her, but denithe kiss cause he's married. I loved that mini segment. The ending of this match was expected, but I wish they took the risk with Andrade since he's been killing it lately"
[8.0] "It felt like a pretty good wrestling match, but not much more than that. It didn't come with any real emotional weight and, honestly, it didn't do much for character development either. Maybe it would have if the result had been different. That said, purely as a wrestling match, it was excellent. It was the kind of smooth, back-and-forth bout that just flows naturally. And I really enjoyed the reversals."
[6.0] "Crowd was not very loud for this match and it also just kinda felt like it never quite hit that next gear to justify the length and audience investment. I think you really could have had Andrade win here, as the crowd did not come off as clamoring for a Hangman victory."

[8.0] "Adam Page is so damn good at wrestling. This match was really really great. Hangman and Andrade are meant to face each other in a match so well made, as they pretty much share the same style. It was intense, great wrestling maneuvers. Andrade looked awesome as always. I love the ending, Page knew what he was doing and countered the low blow, used one of his own, then chased Callis from the apron by actually using that side of the ring to prepare for the Buckshot Lariat. High wrestling IQ, it's details but it's fantastic and that's how you finish a match. Booking wise, I think it's great. Andrade still looks hot. Hangman needed the win because these days, with everyone looking to beat MJF, Page ends up being the least showcased member, so I think it's great to remind everyone that he still is one of the guys on top of AEW."
[8.0] "Andrade may be a top 5 tv worker right now. He's been a complete package since returning to AEW. Offensively, selling, match pacing and obviously the charisma. Just big time singles matches one after the other since he's been back and this was right there with the Swerve match. Maybe a little better honestly. Page was his usual self. The lariats were stiff and the pop-up powerbomb was brutal. The entirety of the match was well done in all facets and they nailed the finish. Couldn't ask for much more."
[8.0] "Andrade might just be my favourite act in AEW currently and I hope he gets something to sink his teeth into after this but you fear for him with Tony's booking patterns. This was just a really well paced match with proper stakes. I have no real interest in Hangman going for the title again but here we are."

[8.0] "[4 Stars] I'll admit, after the disappointment of Andrade vs Gabe Kidd in New Japan, as well as a generally disappointing first hour to this show, I was a little worried about this match. I was scared it wouldn't live up to the hype. Thankfully, I couldn't have been more wrong. This was a really great match between to guys that are really just fantastic right now. Their styles matched up well and I thought they had great chemistry in ring. I also really enjoyed the story of Andrade not having his eye on the ball and it costing him the match, all the while still coming really close and never looking weak. Great match."
[7.0] "A good match held back by the idea that it's just a vehicle for another Hangman/MJF match. Andrade looks so complete as a worker in his second AEW run, he's charismatic but can still work squarely heel when needed and has both power and speed in his offense. Hangman looks solid here but like some of his other recent matches there isn't that spark that he had last year; the fallaway slam to the barricade was cool though. I thought it was funny how the plant girl was clearly less enthused to take a pic with Hangman than with Andrade but did it anyway. Hangman hitting a lowblow before the finish feels more like a way to keep Andrade strong than anything regarding Hangman as a character. ***1/2"

I'm not excited to see it again we've seen it multiple times just in the past year. Andrade has been a thing of fresh air on the show as a whole and has been so enjoyable all around. Andrade has to be a main eventer this time around in AEW and that includes eventually winning the world title belt. We don't need another page and MJF match smh. (****)"

I wish Andrade could've gotten the win because he feels so fresh, and I've gone slightly cold on Hangman's character in recent months (I'm sure him and MJF will have a great match, though). Still, these two worked well despite one awkward moment after returning from commercial break. They leveraged their athleticism well with some slick counters including a middle rope Spanish Fly from Andrade after an attempted springboard lariat. Cool finishing sequence with the blocked low blow into Buckshot although, the over-reliance on Don Callis in these distraction (or attempted distraction) finishes are being over used. ****1/4"
