[7.0] "It was great but it felt awkward at times due to the event being in Shinjuku FACE which is very small venue. Until the 3 way part it was more of a spotfest but with some great action, typical TJPW comedy. I'm not a fan of Yuki winning here tbh, she's good but i don't think she's ready for a PoP title match but maybe Miu will get the banger out of her. The thing i really liked was the elimination of Yamashita that sharpshooter was absolutely devastating and tapping out Miyu is a big deal so Arai at least had great way of winning. ***, 25"
[6.0] "6.5 - They did the six-person format quite well early on, doing some fun moves and transitions involving multiple hostile parties. The action itself was just OK, without any really satisfying eliminations until the end. The triple threat was when the match reached its peak."
[6.0] "Rika Tatsumi was the only wrestler in this match who wrestled like she believed that she's gonna win - her performance here was genuinely great and it singlehandedly carried this gauntlet, everyone else were either going through the motions or did their part well enough and then got eliminated. First part of the match where Impaler was a big wall for everyone (but especially Nakajima) to overcome was also fun. Arai again found a way to make the match either worse, or not as good as it could've been, but she is a 'star' and fans these days have no issues with lowering their standards (which is why the bar is beneath the Earth), so I guess it'll fine for them to see Arai in Ryogoku Main Event. Personally, I didn't like seeing Yamashita tapping out to Arai clean in the middle, that alone makes me think that she's on her way out of TJPW sooner or later. Which is a shame, because I think Yamashita maybe has one more run in her - Sareee is booked for Ryogoku and I think Yamashita vs. Sareee is an interesting enough match for that show, at least on paper."
[8.0] "This was a very enjoyable match although I am completely shocked by the winner. I would have loved to see Shoko or Rika take the win, but we will see, Miu can get a banger out of anyone."
[7.0] "I thought this was very entertaining, the quality of the match definitely depended on who was being highlighted at any given time, I felt Tatsumi was the MVP of the match. 3.5 stars"
[7.0] "When all 6 are in the ring, the story is them teaming up to get max out. After that this is pretty much a spot fest, which is fine, the work is good. Just think they could've done a better job connecting it from spot to spot. They went with the worst choice for the winner."
[6.0] "The first third of this was a little too playful in tone at times. After witnessing the previous match, I was ready for a more sincere approach to the action; however, the main thread of everyone targeting the formidable threat posed by Max ultimately paid off and kept things engaging for me. Everything that came after was more palatable to my taste, even with the multi-woman tropes taking center stage, like taking everyone out to leave two competitors dueling it out, though there are intersecting three way spots that act more like segues. Rika ends up being a workhorse, working the lengthier 1v1s that suggests she's either being built up as a great threat for Miu or she wants to look strong in defeat. Shoutout to Rika and her politics; her work here was awesome, with Shoko being my second fav. The ending portion, from Arai's performance was solid to good. Arai operated as an underdog, which got over with the crowd at drawing sympathy, and it concluded in a genuinely shocking ending. I will say the way Arai worked throughout the match is how she functions best when she's out there just throwing her offense head-on in rapid-fire fashion. I wish she had showcased more of that impassioned fire she had in the last minute of the match. ***1/4"
