[3.0] "A really bad match which consisted basically in a parade of HoT spots until the copy and pasted finish. Certainly not main-event level. *1/2"

[6.0] "As is fairly standard for me, I genuinely enjoyed this match full of House of Torture shenanigans. It could have done with some more YOH and SHO battling it out, but it was fun as is. The Master Wato no selling felt a little off, but that's down to it being a new wrinkle."

[5.0] "Wild to say it, but YOH was prertty good here and his fire kind of carried this match. At the same time, it's Wato was the one who brought this match down and made it feel less important considering the stakes involved. When he was a Young Lion, it's his fire that made him stand out, but now he's so boring that there's absolutely nothing behind it, to the point that I want to see him lose. Crowd reactions defined this match because when heels cheated one more time to finally put Wato down for the count they were silent in a way that came across as a relief. **1/2"

[6.0] "This was so near to be good, but like all DOUKI's big matches past his heelturn (besides Funky Carat bout) they left us with rather underwhelming ending. YOH did great, loved his HoT-like comeback and all the cool moves. Wato moves well, but I just don't buy his emotions and this rage was simply unbelievable. I like SHOUKI's overall match flow, but they just always fumble with those ending, they're not nearly as dramatic as they should feel. ***1/4"

[3.0] "Just more heatless "the HOT booking will continue until morale improves" stuff. Actually had some decent work and fire from Wato for once but the weapons spots were even more egregious than usual."

[4.0] "The only reason I'm not going lower is because of YOH and Wato who were doing solid work. IF Douki and Sho wouldn't go to cheatig EVERY FUCKING MATCH I wouldn't even be so mad with them getting to the finals. BUT THEY DO CHEAT EVERY SINGLE TIME"

[2.0] "For the love of my sanity, STOP BOOKING H.O.T TO WIN EVERYTHING IN NEW JAPAN. They're the Jr tag champs for fucks sake! They don't need to win! Wato and YOH could've had a banger final with ISB/War Dogs, but instead they give us a shitty team. The match was just an extended version of everything we've seen from Douki/SHO the entire tournament. YOH and SHO had a nice sequence and Wato's raged-state was alright. Other then that, absolute horseshit. *"
