[6.0] "Fatal 4 way's have never really been my thing. I just don't like the pacing of it. Remove Persephone and this could've been a 7 or an 8"

[7.0] "A fun Four-Way where all women involved got a chance to shine. Bozilla might have been the standout here, honestly. She still has a lot to improve upon, but she definitely got me interested in her. Everyone else was really cool also, particularly Persephone."

[4.0] "A confusing and poorly paced four-way match that never manages to find any real momentum. There are a few good intentions, particularly from Mercedes Moné, but overall the match lacks consistency and tension. The styles don't mesh, and the potential of the lineup remains largely untapped. Forgettable."

[7.0] "Borderline 7/8 for me, all four competitors brought their own styles and they all paired fairly well, especially in the chaos the four-way matches can produce. I haven't seen much Bozilla before this match, she's got plenty of upside so early in her career. The Mercedes/Persephone exchanges throughout the contest has me wondering how a singles match between them would play out, I'm sure it's on the way soon. The build could have been absolutely better, as all four women showed out in a fun match with fast-paced action."

MrWeen wrote on 20.09.2025:
[8.0] "I knew we'd see Bozilla in AEW eventually (This is much earlier than I thought as she only has like 3-4 years experience), She has such a great look and she hasn't even been molded yet to heighten her character. AEW is finally building a decent women's division. There is still a lot of dead weight on the roster but slowly things are finally looking brighter."

[7.0] "(6.9) A surprisingly unique match. While the match wasn't the greatest thing ever I was hooked from start to finish, it was initially going to be the toilet break match but I couldn't stop watching. It was a bit janky at points but I enjoyed the different dynamics on show. The monkey flip catch was my personal highlight. Bozilla looked great and persephone put on arguably her best non CMLL performance to date."

[5.0] "This match was all about moves, but somehow it found a way to become boring in <5 minutes, which made next 10 feel like 20+ where everyone involved had to get their shit in. If you've seen Bozilla before, you wouldn't find anything she did here memorable. Persephone once again was just another body in the match and I think it's time for CMLL to show that they have more than one luchadora ready for matches like this. Windsor was solid as usual, but wasn't booked in a way that make me think that she could possibly win, even by turning heel. Hopefully there's more matches on the horizon where Mone succeeds at elevating one of her opponents, because it's been a while since she had a match that succeeded at that. **3/4"
TPG wrote on 14.09.2025:
[7.0] "An entertaining 4-way match with a lot of nearfalls as usual in a match like this. We see this all the time in multi-person matches where it's all about getting nearfalls and having somebody else in the match break it up. I like how the match was structured with Bozilla looking like a powerhouse early in the match and when you do that for a few minutes, it means a lot when the other women take her down. Persephone and Alex got plenty of offense as well. Mone didn't get that many nearfalls in the match, but she was able to hit an impressive counter move for the win. That shows that it was a tough match to win, so that's why she needed a move that wasn't her finisher. ***1/2"

[8.0] "I really liked this match. While you can rant and rave all you want about the abysmal build to Forbidden Door, a lacklustre event this was not. While not exactly on par with some of Mercedes' more recent title defences, they 4-Way structure allowed all 4 women to shine in their own ways. I was particularly impressed by how well Bozilla adjusted to wrestling for a major company. As someone who's followed her journey since she debuted in Marigold and eventually joined Stardom, seeing her get this star-making moment meant the absolute world to me. Moné bumped like hell for her, making her seem like a big deal to a crowd that was relatively unfamiliar with her. Persephone and Windsor did a great job of filling in the gaps, meeting their spots, and making this a very good TBS Title Match. Like I said before, this was not exactly on par with many of Moné's previous defences but it didn't have to be. [****]"
Jacob Cass wrote on 08.09.2025:
[8.0] "Fantastic match with a great structure. Minor qualms with the double sharpshooter spot (impractical) as well as the tower of doom (overdone). Considering how little they featured in the build, Persephone and especially Bozilla really shined in this match, not only in ring but as characters. Mone plays the cowardly heel well but Bozilla's inclusion here was the master stroke to make for a compelling dynamic. Oddly, Windsor surprisingly was the least notable character here (though her work was fine) for me. Bozilla's definitely got potential. Nice touch with Bryan calling out her inexperience with that one move in the corner. 4.25*"

Tom LeBlanc wrote on 06.09.2025:
[6.0] "Mercedes has never done much for me, so I wasn't too invested going in, but I was open to seeing Windsor, Persephone, and Bozilla. Bozilla showed real strength and was used well as the powerhouse, even if she still moves a bit too slowly at times and doesn't yet have the "look" to match the way she's being pushed. The other three got creative with her size, which gave the match some fun spots and kept the pace surprisingly steady. The double crossface from Mercedes looked goofy, no way that hold can actually trap two opponents. The crowd seemed into it and the structure made sense, but the outcome was obvious from the start. Bozilla stood out, Windsor was fine, Persephone didn't leave much of an impression and Mercedes looked like the star only because she was booked to win. (Would have given a 5.5/10)"

JokerDeSilva wrote on 06.09.2025:
[7.0] "A very ambitious match, and at times because of it, sometimes a sloppy one. I'm pretty sure most of that goes back to Bozilla for still being kind of green at times and taking a few moves awkwardly, but they had some very clever spots in there anyway, some very impressive athleticism and work from all four, and it was generally a very good match that just needed a little bit of polish. Also Mercedes is just firmly on a career run at this point."

[5.0] "A somewhat disappointing match because, while Bozilla was interesting, Moné was lacking in attack, Windsor was surprisingly discreet, and Persephone was slightly clumsy. The writing of the fight remains decent, with Moné appearing overwhelmed before narrowly winning, but I expected a little more. In-ring quality: 1.25/4. Stakes: 1.25/2. Justification: 0.75/1. Place on the card: 1/1. Suspense: 0.25/1. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 5.5/10. Match watched on-site and then on Fite TV."

[9.0] "This four-way match at Forbidden Door was a great showcase of different talents, and Mercedes Moné was the glue that held it all together. What impressed me the most was how Mercedes managed to make every opponent shine. Alex Windsor looked like a true threat, Bozilla's power was highlighted in a way that felt natural, and Persephone had some great moments to display her athleticism. Mercedes didn't just dominate; she elevated everyone else in the match while still looking like the star she is. Her timing, her selling, and the way she positioned herself made sure that no one felt out of place. That's the mark of a top-level performer -- not just winning the crowd over for herself, but bringing the entire match to a higher level. The pacing was strong, the chemistry was surprisingly smooth for a multi-person match, and the finishing stretch was very exciting. Definitely one of the highlights of the show."

ChocoboSage wrote on 29.08.2025:
[7.0] "A solid match, had hoped maybe Windsor would get the win here and begin Moné's loss of her titles. But it was a fun match, Bozilla got over with the crowd. Been watching her for the past 18 months and she's great for someone with only a couple of years experience."
sweetshinmusic wrote on 29.08.2025:
[5.0] "This was fine. A decent showcase of everyone involved even if the delivery was a little stunted and it never seemed to garner much momentum. One of the most tired wrestling tropes is just throwing a load of names into a multi-(wo)man match and then the champion scraping victory ("they don't even have to be involved in the decision to lose their title! ") but I guess by the very nature of a super show it's always going to be the way for at least one title match on the card."

[9.0] "Mercedes Moné vs. Bozilla vs. Persephone vs. Alex Windsor was an excellent four-way match. Yeah, add it to the MOTYC for the women this year! Say what you want, but Mercedes has elevated the TBS Championship to new heights during this reign. Each defense feels like an event, and this one adds another standout chapter to her legacy. Going in, the odds were stacked -- three opponents with significant size and power advantages. Mercedes sold every bit of it, taking some gnarly bumps and playing the perfect ragdoll to highlight their dominance. Bozilla and Persephone both shined as imposing powerhouses with massive upside, while Alex Windsor once again proved why her chemistry with Mercedes is truly unmatched. The match had a sharp pace, a constant sense of urgency, and delivered big spots and sequences that landed every time. An absolute showcase for the TBS title scene. ?"

"Not bad. Mercedes was never really in danger of losing her belts, but this match did a good job of showcasing Alex WindSAAAAAH and Bozilla. Persephone didn't leave much of an impression but I don't hold it against her. Some day I could see Windsor taking the belt from Mercedes in a singles match, and Bozilla is clearly gonna be a star either in whatever promotion she's in."

[6.0] "It feels like Persephone was just.... There. they didn't do much to make her feel special or celebrate her uniqueness, and they should have. Bozilla came off as monster heel but overall not a ton of interesting things happened, beside Windsor looking kinda good and some decent heel work from Mone. I think part of it is that AEW does so many women's matches that have a ton of people that matches like this feel less special."

Mercedes has been on fire since later last year, and this match was just another thing to add to her outstanding resume. Bozilla was certainly the standout here in my opinion and I look forward to the rest of her career."

[3.0] "**1/2 match meh, worse than I expected, slow pace at the start with some climbs but slow for the most part which made it boring at times, little fluidity, multiple botches due to the lack of fluidity, although all the challengers had their moment and Windsor was the one who stood out the most and managed to tell at least a slight story with her moves, she didn't manage to run enough, decent ending logically via roll-pin Moné retains"
BasuraNocturna wrote on 26.08.2025:
[4.0] "Bozilla is the main force in this one narratively. Taking her down is the main problem the other 3 competitors are tasked with. The match ends without that thread being concluded, so not much satisfaction in the way of the bout itself. But Mercedes' opportunistic and cheap tactics kind of justify it. The whole getting there is a bit messy and contrived, without either Persephone or Windsor having much of a determined character driven through line."

But obviously Bozilla stole the show, still green but sent people flying. Such a solid four way with logical booking despite the obvious winner."

[5.0] "Not really the best from these 4, at least from what I expected. Bozilla looked good with the moments created for her, and I liked that spots of Windza and Persephone pulling her feet to make her powerbomb Moné. But the match felt really off, with some exchanges in ring happening but nothing much that took it higher. The ending with the sudden leverage pin was expected as it was a Moné match, but still not much happened and felt a bit short of action or something to tell."

[7.0] "I thought this was a really fun match with some nice stuff in there where the fact it was slightly unpolished actually added to the match. It had lots of really big spots in the match some looked really great others not so much but that was part of the charm of me. Mercedes took a lot of bumps for the other women in this match which really added to it as she had know where to go with 3 women all wanting to beat her. Alex had the crowd behind her and gave another great performance with some great power moves and the most realistic sharpshooter you have seen since Bret in his prime. I'm still on the fence about Persephone she has a really great look and intensity and at moments looks quality but then at other times she looked very ropey and was defiantly the weakest in this match. Bozilla fucking showed out which was how the match was built to make her look like the beast she is. She was throwing the other 3 around for fun and hit a crazy middle rope moonsault glad so was exposed to a wider audience who all seem to love her. The match also had some solid pinning sequences and a fun 4 women tower spot. Overall it was a fun match with some great high spots but at times it didn't flow as well as it could off and it looked ropey at times but at least we got the right winner and Bozilla was the standout. (***1/2)"

[6.0] "Bozilla only a little removed from Marigold was a very odd choice for this match especially with another powerhouse (Persephone) in this match. I wish AEW could have got someone different and more experienced to add the missing elements in this match, say Starlight Kid for high spots and speed or Rina Yamashita for that danger element would have made this much more enjoyable. We all know Mone wasn't losing here so this match had no stakes and nothing much memorable happened outside some cool entrances from Mone and Bozilla's mask. If I wasn't a Mone fan this would be much lower ranked."

[8.0] "A great showcase for everyone in this match - except Mercedes, who was there to put people over and be a little RAT (which she also did excellently). Bozilla, WINDSA and Persephone all had moments in which they shined. Bozilla getting a big chant from a crowd not super familiar with her work made her stand out especially - she did not look like a relative neophyte in this match (granted surrounded by veteran hands). Hope to see plenty more of all of them in AEW and around the wrestling world as their careers go on"

Persephone looks like a star but I wanted to see some more from her, Mercedes very good as always, Alex Windsor is great in ring but she lacks a little something for the upper midcard, she's getting better at every big matches I see, so don't sleep on her."

[6.0] "It's not the smoothest, slightly dirty match, which is essentially a classic four-way fight in AEW, where a maximum of two girls have some kind of connection and are trying to inflame the situation, here Alex and Mercedes tried to take on this role. The key word is tried. On the other hand, as one of the first matches on the show, such action is well suited, my personal problem is that this type of match requires high-quality performance, which was not always there, and creativity, which was also not always there, and I know all 4 women, so the moments of my surprise at their work on the ring was a minimum."

They also made good use of Bozilla, although she was given maybe too much space considering the multiple botches still, the girl has potential. The other three just did the bare minimum, nothing more. Anyway, I'm glad the title stayed with Mercedes, now I hope for a serious feud with Windsor without any interference."
