Jun Saito vs. Yuma Aoyagi

[6.0] "**** a good match, I don't know but I expected something worse, good chemistry, good constant rhythm perhaps only the beginning that didn't have much interesting stuff and the brawl was average, good sequences, good intensity, and an interesting ending, somewhat simple but functional"

[6.0] "Jun still doesn't do it for me even though this match was the second best of his reign behind the Hideki defence."

[8.0] "I think the idea here was to give Jun Saito a chance to show that he can have a strong, convincing individual performance where he had to do a little bit of everything to make the match work and get himself over, while owning the ring like a proper champion should. Personally I thought his performance was absolutely good enough to make Aoyagi's great effort selling for Saito worth it. For a long time Saito Brothers had their charm as 'perfectly imperfect' pro-wrestlers, how their lack of experience and occasional awkwardness makes them stand out and even endears them to the crowd in a way, but this match had none of that - Saito simply kicked ass and was impressive while doing that. ***1/2+"

[5.0] "So I think this was quite uninteresting and dull, kind of similar to Jun vs. Kento match from March in that way, it also suffered from the addiction to having brawls on the outside of the ring in almost every match on the card, finishing stretch was decent and the match was getting better, but then Jun's finishing move looked really bad."

[7.0] "I have checked out of AJPW during this Saito run and I do not hear great things. It was good to see serious Yuma again but this did not have a high ceiling to begin with and I am not sure it hit it."

[8.0] "Was a pretty decent match, Jun Saito just works, he is there, he can do whatever he wants and it's cool he doesnt need to force anything, he is just such a star."
