Really well wrestled, I really enjoyed the lack of communication between Lyra and Bayley causing issues for them. Wish Becky hadn't interfered honestly, think thats the least interesting reason that they lose this match, but it wasn't awful. very fun stuff."

[7.0] "Good tag team encounter with the central theme of the story being Lyra's confusion and state of dishevellment due to having to tag, coming right off of a feud involving an ex-tag team partner. The cuts and bruises havent worn off this early, thus resulting in miscommunication and frequent mistakes. They are however able to piece things together one way or another finally inflicting effective offense on their opponents but of course catching up when squaring off against an already established tag team unit with proper chemistry and cohesion was too massive a feat which could just not be conquered. ***1/2"
[7.0] "This was very chaotic in a good way. It helped progress 3 stories at once which is smart booking. The match itself is good, Bayley and Lyra work very well as a tag team. I'm liking this Roxanne and Raquel pairing."

This was a good match that I enjoyed, but I just thought it was funny that we still couldn't get what was supposed to be the original match."

[9.0] "This Women's Tag Team Title match produced high-stakes intensity and seamless tag team psychology. Bayley's veteran instincts and Valkyria's explosive athleticism meshed beautifully against the well-oiled machine of Rodriguez and Perez. Rodriguez's power and Perez's agility created a perfect dynamic, and the near-falls kept the tension razor-sharp. The finish - marred by interference - felt like a logical storytelling beat rather than a cheat, preserving the champions' momentum while setting up future intrigue. A near-flawless execution from both teams, with layered storytelling and crisp in-ring chemistry - 9/10"

Is this her getting punished by WWE for unknown reason? The crowd should've been better tho. I mean the whole night Houston crowd sucked."

However, the momentum shifted when Becky attacked Lyra, leaving Bayley without a tag partner. As a result, Raquel executed the Tejada Bomb, securing victory for The Judgement Day."

[4.0] "I actually enjoyed this way more than I thought, Bayley & Valkyria have good chemistry together. Rodriguez surprisingly comes out of this looking strong, Roxanne does her thing but I wasn't overaly into her in this. Bayley & Valkyria's 'can they exist' thing they had going on was quite interesting. Over booking kind of drags down this match, being a distraction and leading to the result."

[6.0] "Very solid tag title match but I wish coming in we had some sort of segment telling us Bayley wanted this tag title match and that she was tryna still be friends or whatever a segment going into this would have helped so much literally how I found out this was a thing was just watch raw and seeing it and being confused if I missed something. Seems obvious a heel Bayley will be the one to rage the ic title off of Lyra once she wins it back at Summerslam but I think that is still some time away. 3.25 stars"

[7.0] "A fight that, while it was pulled a bit out of the sleeve and that not only that but they also have a title fight for SummerSlam, I liked it and I was surprised by the level it had because I honestly thought it would be much weaker. However, I consider it a way to pad the Raw episode and that I liked it but it looks pretty predictable that there might be a title change at the summer event."

[6.0] "Extremely solid as expected, a very cohesive match, easy to watch top to bottom, and despite of the overbooked ending that harmed the match, it was a very fun one, super heated, another incredible job between those women who are recently putting up very good works. Becky Lynch appeared at the end to screw the team of Lyra and Bayley - {***}"

[6.0] "Pretty good match for the tag team titles. Everyone worked well together, just as a match this was enjoyable with good action. Not sure why Bayley and Lyra were getting a title shot to begin with, just so we can get another "can they co-exist? " story with them. The last few minutes were overbooked with interference. Dom pretends he's hurt so they call medical to help him, only for one of them to be AJ Styles in disguise, which was funny but took away from the match itself. The ensuing chaos allowed Becky to attack Lyra, leaving Bayley without a partner. Raquel and Roxanne use the numbers game to their advantage to retain. 6.5/10"

[8.0] "This was a very stellar match. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez are a fun unit as a Tag Team, and Raquel Rodriguez, since changing her wrestling style, has been lights out; she has been fun to watch. I like how the Women's Tag Division and Titles have been presented this year. This has been the best year it has been booked and looked. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria were fun as a team and had moments where they were about to win. Becky Lynch ruined their chances as she took out Lyra Valkyria in the match, which allowed The Judgement Day to win and retain the titles. All around a fun match, and the women have been killing it. They have been the best part of WWE this year, and they continue to have amazing matches all around."

The in ring action was fine but got a little sloppy at the end with the Bayley to Belly and the Tejana bomb both looking a little weird to me."

Sometimes, the "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks approach" can take away from the wrestling itself, but still move stories along and make for a fun time."

Rocky7 wrote on 22.07.2025:
[6.0] "It shows the state of the women's tag team division that they're doing the Can Bayley and Lyra Valkyria co-exist story, and that they were overshadowed by Dominik Mysterio getting involved and then AJ Styles showing up. Pretty decent without the tomfoolery, it looks like Bayley will probably turn on Valkyria in the near future."

[10.0] "This was straight-up madness. The match started with such an unusual, almost surreal vibe, I couldn't even think of a direct comparison. It felt so light and spontaneous, and that was largely due to the fact that Bayley and Lyra are very much not your typical tag partners. Raquel and Roxanne played into that dynamic perfectly, treating them with a sort of amused detachment, not even bothering to hide their smirks. Bayley comically dodging Raquel's moves, and Raquel letting her escape with a goofy slap to the back of the head, was something you'd expect at a house show, or in the playful openings of Japanese tag matches where the characters breathe and express themselves before the war begins. In other words, the match immediately felt unscripted, alive, and fluid, which is rare in American wrestling to this degree. But then the stakes kept rising, and suddenly we were watching magic unfold. No, it wasn't edge-of-your-seat suspense, and the outcome was never in question, but the execution was phenomenal. The absurdity with Dominik throughout the night, Styles showing up as a doctor, and the whole thing culminating in overbooked chaos of the funniest kind, I genuinely can't remember the last time I laughed this much watching a WWE match. And then Lynch interferes, the perfect cherry on the cake. She got her revenge for being outplayed earlier, and at the same time showed how seriously she takes her legacy as a former double champion. She wasn't about to let Lyra get even a taste of that glory right before their title match. That's brilliant character work. So yeah... This match was phenomenal from every angle. Wild, crisp, hilarious, brutal, full of tag team psychology, and unbelievably alive. I'm not used to WWE matches being this vibrant, but Bayley and Lyra are absolute TV match monsters (****3/4)."
