[7.0] "Back to some better graps after the last two matches were a bit disappointing. I think Fujita's match with El Desperado on the lead-in to this show was a better match and probably should have been on the actual PPV over this one, but I'll take what we got if it meant that the Singles gets more time on the Road show."

[6.0] "Good match that I just had higher expectations for. Eagles and Fujita are both really good at balancing team maneuvers while still being interesting individually, it almost makes Roponggi appear like unworthy challengers in comparison. I used to connect with YOH a lot more than in the recent few years as he doesn't have much character that feels sincere enough to root for. The work was fast and entertaining as this title almost always is, just not enough build or emotion to go higher. Still as an 11 minute midcard defense no issues. ***1/4"

[6.0] "I was expecting a little bit more, to be sincere, I felt a little bit underwhelmed by Yoh, I don't know if it's the "new" gimmick of if he just isn't the same as years ago. I did feel like Rocky did a great job here, definetly the wrestler I was most invested during the match! I like it a lot when he heels it up. For TMDK, I really like the pairing, it was my first exposure to Fujita and I really like him, aesthethically speaking, I do want to see him thrive more and more, but I was not 100% impressed by his performance. And Robbie, besides the suicide dive, which was so cool, didn't do as much as I wanted? I don't know, I felt underwhelmed at the end. I do hope the champions have more exciting defenses from here on."

[5.0] "***1/2 interesting match, good pace, interesting intensity, some good sequences although others did not go as well or fluid, normal chemistry, and an interesting ending where they retain, their next defense looks better"
ZooWee wrote on 13.02.2025:
[6.0] "Really fun tag match. The action was really high paced in this, with both teams wrestling at frenetic pace basically as soon as the bell rang. Towards the end, Robbie nearly breaks his ankle on a dive but somehow recovers in time to get back in the ring and help Fujita win the match. The were a few spots that didn't really go to plan in this but for the most part, this was pretty good. ***1/4"

DENDY wrote on 13.02.2025:
[7.0] "I thought this was a really fun albeit predictable defence for the Ichiban Sweet Boys, some great action from ISB, with Rocky and YOH definitely holding their own. Fujita was really the star of the show as he has tended to be recently, but it was a good shift from everyone and a fun matchup overall. There were a couple of slightly awkward moments but it never really took away from my enjoyment. Fujita got the win with Abandon Hope onto Romero, and this was a really fun watch, recommend seeking it out."

[7.0] "Good match for the junior division with The Sweet Boys retaining their tag titles in a pretty great match in my opinion. The in-ring was good, it got good time but I wouldn't complain if we got more of this match because I really liked it. Overall I really enjoyed this match and I'm excited to see more of Fujita and Eagles as tag champions."
Visual Kei wrote on 12.02.2025:

NikoKillbain wrote on 12.02.2025:
[7.0] "Good, standard Junior tag title match. Strong style early on, then into clean tag sequences later. Robbie's looking lean and focused. Kosei has excellent kickouts. Rocky sold the late tag move very well."

[5.0] "This was an alright match and TMDK looked great in it. Fujita just came off as an absolute star in the Junior Division, especially with those unforgiving chops that he's got. It was cool to see Rocky turn it on and go once again, as we don't really see that anymore as he's a big time corporate man (which is great). I thought Yoh was not good in this, and I don't know what happened to that man, as he used to awesome back in Roppongi 3K, but that was a long time ago and times are different now. But it was a good junior tag, and hopefully Eagles is ok after that insane Tope Suicida. ***1/2"
Contrasoma wrote on 12.02.2025:
[7.0] "Whole lot of action in this, some of it more scrappy rather than smooth but entertaining throughout, Robbie Eagles has become the ultimate glue guy in the junior tag division and thank god he's walking after that match. I expected a lot more goofy comedy in this given all of the shtick on the lead up to it but it was actually a really solid match that exceeded my expectations and is very much in the junior tag wheelhouse."
WrestleWire wrote on 12.02.2025:
[6.0] "Robbie Eagles is tough as nails. That was a nasty impact that had the commentators freaking out, yet he was up and jumping off the middle rope almost immediately. Massive props. As for the match itself, a fast-paced and entertaining bout. Kosei Fujita is going to be a household name one day. An unbelievable talent ever since he was a Young Lion. Roppongi 3K also looked good. YOH seems to have really found his confidence. 3.25 stars, 6.5 out of 10."

[7.0] "(Grade:C+/***1/4) A solid Junior Heavyweight Tag Title defense for Ichiban Sweet Boys against another team who I'm starting to become a fan of Roppongi ReVice. Good offense amongst both teams, Rocky Romero showing off why he's in almost every promotion and YOH whilst having a little showing did good work. Eagles & Fujita are a great tandem, Eagles took a scary dive that made me think he'll be out the entire match but luckily he survived."
NoOne2 wrote on 11.02.2025:
[8.0] "This match revolved almost entirely around Rocky Romero and all the great sequences of the match were created by Romero alone and his performance was unparalleled. Yoh didn't do much and mostly hindered Romero's movements. TMDK had an extraordinary individual and team performance and were able to defend their title by pinning Rocky Romero. The pace of the match was high from start to finish and we witnessed a very good technical match. After the match, Taiji Ishimori came out and challenged TMDK for their title."

[7.0] "A fun match! Robbie Eagles took one of the must brutal bumps I've seen and I think a lot of us thought he blew his knee out. There isn't too much to say about this match other than it was a solid first title defence for Ichiban Sweet Boys and a fun watch."

[6.0] "Alright jr tag title match. The match was going good but sort of got messed up after Eagles got hurt after the suicide dive tangling him in the barricade but kudos to Fujita and Rocky keeping the match together somewhat till then."
Wright15 wrote on 11.02.2025:
[6.0] "There were lots of athletic spots here, but unfortunately this was fairly sloppy. YOH especially was not on his A-game and was out of position. Robbie Eagles, on the other hand, was on fire and at one point nearly destroyed his own knee on a crazy dive. He sold it the rest of the way perfectly (if it wasn't a legit injury). Rocky Romero didn't have his working boots on boot did fine, and Fujita had a very solid performance. A perfectly fine match in the middle of the card that was not worth going out of your way to see."

[5.0] "Why are all the matches around 10 minutes. I kind of hate that. Another thing is the whole point of professional wrestling is the make it look real, then why is it all the time when there's a high risk spot the match freezes for a second as if the these wrestlers are waiting to take a certain move instead of trying to stop them. Anyways, Fujita is a superstar. Dude got to be a junior world champ at some point. Yoh chest were beat boxing. Eagle looked awesome, surprised to see he was still walking after that. And Rocky. Enough of these to give it a 5 out of 10. Oh and who is Robbie X..."

[7.0] "I suppose I am the odd woman out as I did really enjoy this one, it felt very physical match, while remaining to be a clearly junior heavyweight tag team match, rather than a heavyweight match. The spot of the match was when Robbie Eagles did his dive, it looked absolutely sick and dangerous, and he seems like he is fine (otherwise they might have just swapped the belts if need be), so it was an excellent moment, I did really enjoy seeing Rocky Romero here, he did really well as YOH's tag partner."

Robbie Eagles's dive to the outside added some excitement to the proceedings but this was ultimately a very boring affair from two regularly fun teams. I dunno what happened. Still, Taiji challenging Fujita and Robbie is exciting, especially considering that he named Robbie X as his tag partner. Still, we will see how that match goes."

[6.0] "This was fun to watch. They did a lot of good Junior wrestling, but I couldn't help but think how much better it would've been had we gotten the excellent Fujita VS Desperado match we had at the road to show. But this was good enough. One thing I don't like about New Japan tag matches is that after half of the match has passed, everyone gets in the ring so rules basically mean shit. That was the case here, but at least we got some good tag team maneuvers out of it. Robbie Eagles's dive to the outside was very scary too. Fun match though."
