Gresham and Brookes slowly went from playful to outright heelish over the course of the match, particularly with Gresham beating the hell out of Santana's leg. Fast paced with some cool double teams and some VERY hot nearfalls, I don't know if I can call it all time great but it was definitely a highly enjoyable match."

May partily be that I'm not really a fan of Brookes but I've seen Santana and Ortiz have far better matches with LAX and Lucha Bros. Maybe with the expetations I had for this match it just underwhelmed. This just felt like your standard kind of tag match you'd see on an indie show for its time. I appreciated Gresham working on the knee but way too much going on for what this needed to be. Crowd was super hot and santana really was great FIP."

[9.0] "Easily the best LAX & altogether the best tag match I've seen in PROGRESS (so far). Just a fantastic tag match with Gresham being kind of the glue that held it together. His psychology and attention to detail, specifically with the target on Santana's knee is superb and it pays off beautifully (minus one or two no-sell moments). The crowd really elevated this match especially after one kickout late into the match where they just lost their minds (very similar to the kickout at 1 in the AEW Revolution tag title match). The finish was fantastic as well with CCK picking up the submission victory but Santana trying his best not to tap but not being able to hold on any longer (a visual similar to the #DIY/Revival 2/3 Falls match). Fantastic tag match. If you've never seen it, I highly recommend you do so. ****1/2"

Gresham is a straight up star who can do ANYTHING in the ring and certainly he and Brookes are great together. LAX, Santana in particular, play the babyface, underdogs so well. They had the audience in the palm of their hand the entire way."

Lykos is good at what he does, but Gresham is such a better overall wrestler, so I'm glad he got to finally show a hot crowd exactly what he could do. His chemistry with Brookes is outstanding with the technical work both guys can do against their opponents. This couldn't have been better shown than on the work CCK did to Santana's leg for most of the match. There was also a cute story being told with a bunch of nearfalls, but the technical work was my favorite part of the match. Of course credit to the hometown team LAX for being great opponents too, ****1/2."
