[9.0] "You see a match like this and ask yourself how are either of these guys not us champion right now. From the start of the match to Andrade giving Melo a piece of his own medicine by getting the jump on Melo this time, the added desperation to every move that was delivered, no wasted moments. This time period when Andrade and Melo were wrestling will be remembered fondly cause they were carrying smackdown when it came to the wrestling on tv. This match was no different. Even with La knight coming out at the end there, Andrade looked strong h in defeat cause he was protected, with Melo just getting by with a roll up victory this time. It felt like Carmelo's plan after what happened on sd the previous week. He saw the argument between Andrade and LA Knight I mean who didn't, since the clip of the weird handshake with viral on Twitter, provoked La knight by attacking him backstage to come out during the match and used it to his advantage. Really smart. This match was great. ****1/4"
[9.0] "This was the best match of the Best of Seven Series. Carmelo Hayes & Andrade can never have a bad match against each other I'm convinced. So many crazy spots especially that power slam on the apron, and the cutter off the top of the turnbuckle. LA Knight came out which had Andrade off his game and allow Carmelo Hayes to get the win to make the series 3-3 now. I wish they had the 7th Match on a PLE like WWE Bad Blood with a stipulation like winner will face LA Knight for the WWE United States Championship at the next WWE PLE. This feud has been one of the WWE best this year because the whole basis of this feud is who's the better wrestler and this help really established Carmelo Hayes on the Main Roster, and helped Andrade get over with the fans which he has done. Great match, and amazing feud."
[7.0] "Best match of the series without a shadow of a doubt. I always felt the other matches could go way further than they did and finally I think they reached a higher point, despite thinking that it still could've been much better. You can see the evolution in the story, in the rivalry between Melo and Andrade, how well they know each other in the ring and how they effectively translate that with their in-ring performance, how difficult it's for both of them to put the other down, even with big moves like the Avalanche Cutter from Melo. An interference like LA Knight's one would kill the vibe of the match 99% of the time, but right here it was very well displayed. LA got attacked by Melo backstage, he wants his piece of meat and LA is not the kind of guy that cares about anyone but himself, so he doesn't give a damn about screwing Andrade out of the victory. That interference keeps heating up the US Title feud in a complete organic way, allowing Melo to gain heel heat in the process as the villain of the rivalry. One of the best things on WWE programming at the moment (*** 3/4)"
[7.0] "Possibly the best match of their series so far, but it still doesn't cross the 8/10 mark for me (I'd rate this a 3.75/5 or a 7.5/10). I don't know what it is, honestly, They got a really good amount of time here, which had been something I mentioned previously."
[10.0] "The fact that Andrade and Carmelo Hayes managed to give great matches week after week and the crowd still loves it shows something. They always give amazing match and somehow managed to give something new. For example that Powerslam Counter came out of nowhere. This series also get more interesting with LA Knight's US Championship becoming something to grab for these two."
[7.0] "***1/2 (07/10) I wouldn't call this the best fight between both men, but it was one of the better rounds from their current series. I'm sure there's some displeasure towards the screwy finish. But it seems that when it comes to this year, it's been worth just letting everyone cook and deliver the goods when the pot reaches a boiling point. Really good fight: so I'm gonna keep letting them cook."
[7.0] "My favorite of the series so far. Really aggressive match compared to their previous ones and loved the urgency from them to get the win. Would love to see them get more time and maybe on a PLE without any commercial breaks to really show what they are capable of as the breaks really limited this match."
[8.0] "Their best match. Also their longest match, which possibly explains why. Good action here, the powerslam through the ropes onto the apron a particular highlight. Melo's springboard leaping DDT is a thing of beauty when it connects well. Hope the 7th - and assumed final - match is at least a Smackdown main event. I'm not sure it gets onto PPV with their reduced cards."
[6.0] "Following a backstage brawl the week prior, this match had the proper tone, with both working a bit more aggressively and with urgency making for a bout with a bit more grit. They had the house rocking but unfortunately, the finish was used as a vehicle to set up a 3-way and the commercial breaks stole a lot of its charm away. The match would've wrapped up very nicely if it ended after Melo hit the Avalanche Cutter as it seemed that was its peak. They have tremendous chemistry, so hopefully, these two will conclude their rivalry in a PPV slot or a TV main event. ***1/4"
[9.0] "This is without a doubt their best match so far. The technical wrestling here is superb, the near falls are exciting, the moves are executed perfectly, the emotion being conveyed on their faces is great. The powerslam on the ring apron, the springboard DDT, the superplex countered into a cutter, it all was displayed extremely well for a TV match. The LA Knight interference also still works in my opinion. It was set up before the match and it protects Andrade in order to force the 3-3 tie for the 7th final match, which should be at a PPV."
[5.0] "For the sixth time these two wrestled the exact same match. I am officially done with them. They just work towards the spots (this time at least not as sloppy as the last couple of matches) and do nothing that adds to the match inbetween."
[7.0] "The ad breaks somewhat limit the value of this extended runtime, but Andrade and Carmelo again rocked the house here. The final portion is especially explosive, taking their biggest swings yet on offence and sprinkling in some creativity throughout. In a vacuum, this may be their best match yet but admittedly, I've probably seen enough of this dynamic by now. Even still, it's been an effective piece of business, and this was a strong addition to their series. ***1/2"
[9.0] "The best match of the series and I hope that the last match happens at a PLE. It would have been a 10 if not for the Knight distraction. These two put some of their best spots together in this match and showed the chemistry they have."
[7.0] "Matches with these two have been working out mostly. Andrade hits a powerslam on the apron that looks like it broke Melos tailbone. Crazy. Carmelo has some great moves that come off the second rope. Andrade eventually catches one of these with a great counter. We get the double moonsault from Andrade in this one and they really nail it. Theres also an awesome superplex that Melo counters into a cutter. LA Knight eventually comes out but doesnt get a chance to interfere thankfully. Andrade loses to a rollup off the distraction. This match stands out over most of the other ones in this series with more exotic spots and longer time given."
[6.0] "Commercials made this hard to rate. Certainly some of the early going was rough and for the sixth match in a series it sure looked like these two had just met. They went big in the spectacular final segment and had the crowd popping all over the place, but the musical finish was a big old bag of cringe ***1/4"
[7.0] "Honestly while the matches in this feud are good it is not one that I find particularly interesting. Andrade and Carmelo are two good wrestlers, and their matches are always entertaining, but it feels very played out at this point. This one had the worst finish with LA Knight coming out and the rollup finish."
[7.0] "Good match. I'm glad the feud between Andrade and Carmelo is still going. This was one of the best matches in the series, there were a lot of the usual spots but they added some new ones that helped make it stand out a little more. I didn't care for LA Knight coming out and the cheap roll up victory that Carmelo got, but it's leading to a seventh match between them and that's what matters. 7.5/10"
[10.0] "Every week this two guys enter the ring they give us a better match than the last time. No one would have thought that they would have such the in-ring chemistry they are proving to have and that they could face each other week after week with a different storytelling and without being monotonous. And involving LA Knight is great, these are the kind of things that are going to give a lot of prestige to the US Title."
[7.0] "We're getting a Game (Match) 7, and that looked obvious once WWE decided that Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes was going to be a series. All the matches have been solid to very good, and this was one of the better ones. Hopefully they up the ante in the series decider."
