[5.0] "It's weird how much more entertaining the episodes of Raw were at this point in the WWF's history compared to a typical PPV like this. It's probably because RAW was much more segment heavy and the Attitude Era was legitimately entertaining as sports entertainment, whereas on PPVs like this, more time had to be filled with "actual wrestling". This PPV for example, had a dead crowd for lots of matches, with lots of people probably buying a ticket just to see Austin. As a result, the wrestling is "just kind of there" for lots of this and from a match standpoint there's maybe only 3 matches worth even considering. I'm a fan of the main event just for how wild and chaotic is, but I can see why people might hate it as well for the same reason."

[6.0] "There's definitely an improvement with the wrestling matches here with Rock/Nation vs Shamrock/Ahmed, Shawn vs Owen and Taka vs Tajiri all being worth a watch. The stuff with Austin interfering in two of the matches got a huge crowd reaction. This also had the debut of the New Age Outlaws and also had a notable heel turn from Marc Mero because of his jealous of Sable's popularity. Kane attacks Dude Love this week, which starts his first major feud that isn't with The Undertaker. DX have a funny moment where there sat on the stage holding up signs "Who Booked This Crap? ". Ironic that in the very next segment there's an atrocious storyline angle where the Hart Foundation are presumably framed trashing the Nation of Dominination's locker room and defacing the walls with racist graffiti! The context with the Bret Hart vs Faarooq match and the brawling outside is pretty awful because of it. Jeff Jarrett's shoot promo makes way too many insider references a lot of fans wouldn't get!"

[7.0] "I found the segments (aka the "sports entertainment") parts of this show to be highly entertaining. Matches themselves were whatever, but I'm not watching 1998 episodes of Raw expecting 'high quality' wrestling, I'm watching to re-enjoy the vibe of the era itself, and this delivered."

[4.0] "This was a pretty bad period of WWE, even in comparison to 2011. You have terrible commentary, inane storylines, and AJ Lee having a segment in the middle of a PPV to show Photoshops of Vickie Guerrero. The in-ring action here is competent but not very memorable. This show is really only notable for the debut of The Shield at the end, and they couldn't come soon enough to add some life into a stale TV product."

[4.0] "Rampage is less story driven than Collision and even with the feuds that are presented they are the lower tier feuds which is saddening to see that Rampage is now the super C Show and another bland and lifeless TV Wrestling show. The match card on its own is okay and nothing else, it's okay but it will be forgotten soon enough. The big feuds are not mentioned except Danielson and Ospreay and that's in a small promo time. Match of the Night was the main event but even that was not a true main event as Matt Sydal is a jobber. Not a good episode of Rampage. [**1/4]"

[5.0] "The problem with this show is that there are too many matches on the card. And to many of those are relatively cold matches on top of it. You can justify a lot of shorter-length matches of most/all of those matches are hot feuds that people want to see, like some of the better Attitude-era PPV's. But to have that many matches, and have most of them being sort of cold doesn't make much sense. The main event steals the show, the opener was a huge surprise, and Orton vs. Wade is underrated. Most of the rest off this card is just okay and isn't really all that memorable. The other thing to note is that this show features the last non-Rumble WWE PPV from Kevin Nash, who finishes his run with Triple H in a passable match considering their age and stipulation. A solid show, but might have actually been something greater if it was built on and planned a bit more properly."

Just laughing at all the goofy antics and silly little schticks was the treat I didn't know I needed. My first TJPW show I've watched and I am absolutely a fan after it, I love the vibe and everything just feels right. Great concise show that is worth every second watched."

[8.0] "Pretty good episode of Raw which heavily focused on DX (they are called that officially now) and while the main event wasn't amazing, I thought the win or go home storyline with LOD with them getting the feel good moment at the end and finally winning the Tag Team Titles was a satisfying ending which was built up well all show. Shawn Michaels and Triple H really are the stars of the show here as they appear a lot and pretty much all of their antics are hilarious to watch, especially when Owen vs Kama turns into a massive brawl that they instigate at ringside while on commentary. Really good stuff all show. The wrestling is kinda hit and miss for the most part, but I enjoyed the Brian Christopher vs Tajiri match."

[5.0] "I was expecting way more from this episode of Collision. I was recommended this episode from friends and It was just a bland and lifeless episode of Collision that has little to no story development and only has good matches and that's it. I love me some good wrestling but how are you gonna draw new fans if theirs no stories. Again saying this but the matches were good! 100% but the story development along with it was horribly done and the only feud that was given a segment was the Storm & Rosa feud. Best match of the night was the main event but even that will be forgotten by next week. [**1/2]"

[0.0] "This episode featured: three different people over 50 wrestling, a lesbian kiss, a video of a real fight between two people that are currently not featured in AEW TV, a random overlay of a golf course appearing for some reason, a meta-breaking worked shoot promo from FTR (why are you showing this indeed, Cash), a whodunit backstage attack (with terrible acting) on Mercedes "I'll wrestle in two months so all of this is pointless" Mone, a promo taking a shot at the opposition, a main event between two people over 45 and a crowd chanting for a guy that the company fired. Is it 2000 WCW bad? Probably not. But it's as close as it gets."

[6.0] "There isn't much you can do with a 44 minute runtime, but as the first NXT of the Full Sail era, there's a lot of legwork ahead of them in terms of establishing this as a legitimate wrestling endevor and not whatever NXT's previous incarnation is. The vignettes are fun time capsules and the Main Event is a solid match between two workers who never got a whole lot of opportunities to shine."

I know the showing of the video is divisive, but I guess I don't see the big deal one way or the other. It certainly didn't hurt how I feel about the show. I thought the Bucks were hilarious in how they sold the video though. I did think the second hour lacked the in-ring action that the first hour had, but still a solid show."

[] "So trying to stay at a brisk pace we're on to the next episode. We're opening with the lesser known Armstrong boys vs Dean and Benoit, and honestly it'd work just fine as a "Heel w/ Manager v Underdog" tag match on any modern wrestling program. It didn't blow my socks off but for the time, yeah great. Roddy's commissioner now, and I'm cautiously optimistic? I shouldn't be Now we're getting DDP promo time. Goldberg is over. He's the only chant I've heard. DDP ain't no face anymore I guess. We get a "brass ring" reference, hah..... oh God David Flair is on my screen. Okay now for the Cruiserweight 4 way. Real meat n potatoes of the show. What the hell happened to Alex Wright? Well I got transfixed. This match was more than anything I could have expected. Hell it's probably underrated. You could legit slot that in on any modern show and it might be match of the night. The hell did Blitzkrieg pull off on that top rope move? Like genuine A grade match.... aaaand I am now worried about the rest of the show. Welp more Ric v Roddy stuff. And Ric just offered to buy the city a round. Roddy is telling the truth, but getting booed. I.... what the heck just happened. Is Ric kayfabe senile? I'm somehow more lost than when I started. Just no. nWo ambushes Konnan for some reason, and we're moving on. I like Hardcore wrestling. I like *deathmatch* wrestling. What the heck was this. Knobbs matches might be a war crime. A running Garbage Can "elbow"..... god help us. Buff vs Disco, this is pure WCW. It was present on the card. There's nothing bad about it, but it's fundamentally filler and while it's not even structured poorly nothing stands out. Disco gets heat, Buff comes back. Buff's over, but I couldn't tell you why this match happened besides that. Are there going to be any intelligible promos in ring tonight? Scott's promo didn't age well, I'll leave it at that. Kidman and Raven is an absolute nothing match. Glorified angle tbh. The Scott fight is again, just a match. There's nothing good to say about any of it. After watching how well Flair was presented last week vs Sting, you'd think that Nash is like the final boss of WCW right now. Nash gets like a 30 count on Flair because Robinson walks out and Gorgeous George just puts on a ref shirt and calls the match. Ric is kidnapped by presumably psychiatrists, while Arn and a shirtless Robinson insist he's injured. "Central Florida Mental Hospital". We're getting a recap of what we just watched. Goldberg v DDP time, Goldberg is so over. This is post tazer. This man is unstoppably over. This match while not super technically proficient has Big Match Feel. It's really cementing DDP as a heel compared to the weird tweener from last week. And had this ended like a normal match I'd call it amazing. But it devolves into pointless BS, Nash saves Goldberg, and DDP just leaves. This show on the whole came so close to great a few times, but it just kept dragging itself back down. Nash is a face, and so was Sting but so is Flair... kinda. Also Scott and DDP are heels but like... not really-ish. Alignments make sense in that they're people, but it's hard to exactly understand that as a newcomer so I don't hold it against them. If this had the fat trimmed it'd be genuinely good! But there's a lot of fat and some things are confusing. But I'd still probably recommend more than enough off the show to call it Good with an asterisk. 7/10"

Previously it was five minutes I don't know I just think 3 ain't gonna work maybe do six minutes like it would be much better. But now talking about the match itself, it was okay it wasn't bad glad Johnny Gargano won and advance, but I think it's gonna be Ricochet vs Bronson Reed for the WWE Speed Championship as the Finals Match."

[6.0] "I can only find the videos for the matches, so I'm assuming that some backstage segments, etc, are missing, so the review is based on what's left. Episode 2 seems to be filmed in a sports centre in Crewe for a very different ascetic. Count Bartelli v Ian Wilson, Wilson's contant cheating helps the pacing of the match but but still great to see the 62 year old Bartelli wreshle. Max Beesley hops up on the apron to interview mad dog Wilson after he wins the first fall, which we really would have seen more of in satalite wrestling to differentiate it from the ITV Wrestling, it feels like we lose content between the 2nd and 3rd fall which is a shame, but Bartelli wins which is the right result for a rare match where both are bleeding within 10 minutes. Captain's match: Rocky Moran v Mal Sanders, the mat is covered in blood from the previous match, and the participants are brawling on the outside while the ring announcer is still going through the motions. This is a classic example of 2 wrestlers that didn't watch the previous match given the cheating and blood we've just seen, I don't think this match needed a brawl to start. The choking with electrical wire in the crowd and frenetic action give this match a GLOW feeling just swap the conference room of a Las Vegas hotel for a sports centre in Crewe. Sanders submits in the shoulder breaker submission despite his feet being hooked under the top rope. Jon Cortez v Johnny England (who looks like John Silver with a perm) thought we were going to get a lot of technical wrestling from Cortez, but instead, he's hitting England's second with a chair and wiggling. England seemed a bit green. Vince Miller tries to interview Cortez, but England is shouting over him. World Championship final eliminator best of 3 falls Chic Cullen v Kung Fu. Vince Miller explains the mat is wet cause someone in the crowd threw a bottle of water in. We get a crowd reaction shot in this match that I am convinced gets used at least 3 times in this show, which is pretty lazy production. This match is the one that's closest to a joint promotion style match but the crowd have already seen blood and chair shots so it's difficult to put the genie back in the bottle and it gets little reaction, we get told its a 20 minute draw after 12 minutes and we get a round of applause. Rocky Moran/Mark Rocco vs Johnny Saint/Mal Sanders, Rocco starts this match like a maniac and is the inspiration for Shane McMahon jumping off scaffold, johnny Saint just bleeding on the apron commentary laughing at Rocco later in the match for missing a knee drop was something new. A guy from the crowd literally tries to grab rocco off the apron when he's trying to help Moran cheat. If you see this match and think they'll be technical wrestling cast Saints in it, you'll be disappointed. It's a typical Rocco spot/cheating fest. A bloody Rocco cuts a very shouty promo, and Mal Sanders attacks him, while Vince Miller tries to conduct an interview with the pair. Rocco claims Max Beesley has band him for 60 days and attacks him, and the show goes off the air"

[8.0] "I had neglected the undercard to this show while making my initial, unthorough trek across this era of PROGRESS history and have finally rectified my mistake. 3 months later. Great show! Great fun to be found -at least a little bit of it- on every match. The finish two matches are defining in the scope of PROGRESS as a company, as they establish a load of stars who will lead the charge going forward. The end of Jim Hav's title reign was a long (long long long) time coming and they pulled it off without a hitch. The main event IS this company's best match ever. So far."

I felt my inner child healing as it went on! Obviously this isn't the place to go for workrate, but if you're looking for a short and sweet show, with wholesome vibes and a beautifully unique backdrop, this is the one! Don't take it too seriously and you'll have a great time! I was smiling pretty much constantly through the show :) Gonna be a comfort show for me for a long time to come!"

[6.0] "Despite some flaws, I liked the show more than I didn't... Batista vs. Benoit was a great TV match, strong action and very digestible length, should be a template for TV matches everywhere. I wasn't hyped about the other matches but none were outright bad and the build for the Chamber match was good, especially the wild run at the end. Only thing really bad was the Muhammad Hassan "debate", it baffles me that folks treat this like some kind of amazingly nuanced angle when in just a few weeks it was transparently just a new way to boo Arabic heels, oh but not because of race but because they are annoying whiners, a big difference, also a man is screaming in Arabic and Jim Ross is telling them to love America or leave it."

[8.0] "A good card overall, not quite as good as the first Clash I think but still features some really good stuff. By far the first and last matches were the best, Windham and Brad put on a clinic of just super great fundamental wrestling and if you can't appreciate the spectacle and energy of Dusty and Sting fighting two of the best wrestlers in the world, I can't do much for you."

[8.0] "This was an excellent episode that set the stage well for Dynasty. We opened with a very good match between House of Black and the team of Dante Martin, Action Andretti, and Matt Sydel. Katsuyori Shibata followed this up with another very good match with Lee Moriarty. Things slowed down a bit as Daniel Garcia and Angelico had ma match that was merely alright. We got our first taste of the working relationship with Stardom as AZM had another good match with Toni Storm. Finally, we got the match of the Night between Blackpool Combat Club and the Don Callis Family."

[7.0] "Like the usual timeline of small-scale PPVs, TNA did a good job of delivering a solid edition of No Surrender all around. ABC/GYV had a beastly encounter to cap off their series, while Gotch and Mustafa looked amazing in their debuts. Ignoring the pointless and overused PCO against a vacuum giant like Kon, the rest of the match card was rigid enough to be entertaining. Even though there was zero anticipation of game-changing results, it served for the better of the next steps towards the big-time PPV in April."

[9.0] "If last week was the final nail in the coffin for the promotion, this week is probably the greatest comeback in the history of our sport. Hyperbole aside, it was an excellent Dynamite with an electric crowd, and a better go-home show than the one before Revolution. It was great to see Mox back home. He looked better and healthier than the last time I've seen him, especially with that IWGP belt. The mixed tag match was great and put more intrigue into the Moné storyline. The Young Bucks are doing some of their best work since the start of the promotion, and the match was fantastic. Then the main event delivered than most PPV matches, which at this point is the level that we expect from Ospreay. The pair was a perfect match, and I'm looking forward to see them feud again in the future. All in all, pro wrestling at its peak, and I cannot wait for Dynasty."

[5.0] "They dropped the old-school feeling of these UK shows so that's a shame, but overall the show wasn't bad, as there were some decent matches. Gunn & Chyna vs The Radicalz was a fun little bout, Jericho and Kane almost copied their Survivor Series match but it was still quality and I loved Regal's fantastic promos that made the crowd boo him against Crash. It was still a mixbag though, mainly due to the awful, chaotic opener or Blackman's garbage match with Saturn, plus the Tag Team Titles match was meh and Benoit vs Taker was one of Deadman's better recent matches, but still not something to write home about. The main event though was fun with all four workers keeping the tempo high and everybody hitting moves on everybody. Nice show, but I'll forget about it in a few weeks."

Still there could have been more storytelling overall, though I liked the Chris Jericho and Hook situation including Taz. Hook looked like a bummer. [9.0] "This is the first Wrestle Kingdom I've watched, with a friend of mine a couple days after it happened. In fact, this was my first experience with a full Japanese wrestling show, and I was beyond excited. I had no expectations asides from the reputation that WK has. Every match was on the spectrum of at least enjoyable to absolutely fantastic. The worst was House of Torture Vs. Kaito Kiyomiya & Shota Umino, which isn't surprising at all to say the least. The interference at the end ruined it, but the work itself was good. All the other tag team matches were great fun, the table spot was a personal highlight. Hiroshi Tanahashi Vs. Zack Sabre Jr. was great and memorable, Tama Tonga Vs. Shingo Takagi was a great match. Just a shame that he was planning on leaving just a month later. Really though, the last four matches are the absolute must watches of this show. The Junior Heavyweight match was really fantastic. I absolutely loved the Global Heavyweight Title, and would've been my choice for best match if it wasn't for Kazuchika Okada Vs. Bryan Danielson. One of the best matches I've seen of this year. And while the IWGP World Heavyweight Title Match wasn't as good as Okada Vs. Danielson, it was still a blast and a really good end to the show. Tetsuya Naito deserved the title, and SANADA looked amazing. Overall a fantastic show, and to think this is only considered a "good" Wrestle Kingdom is insane to me. I recommend it."

Je'Von had a great showing, the Gigi/Arianna story finally went somewhere, they've set up some cool matchups for Spring Breakin' and overall HBK is still cooking some damn good wrasslin'. [] "The only reason to watch this episode is for the "This is your life" segment, which is a classic, but it's sad to say that re-watching this just isn't as fun as it was when it first was aired. I think the main reason I feel that way is because I watched this live, and actually called my friends to tell them to turn on Raw if they weren't watching. The Rock was must-watch-tv at the time, and coming up with new slogans almost weekly. As we're 25 years later now, we've heard all of these sayings "Millions, and millions" of times, so the effect isn't the same on re-watch. But for Rock stans at the time (like half of wrestling fans really), who couldn't get enough of the hype, this was pure gold. The segment ends abruptly, which I notice a lot more now... but at the time it had everyone rolling on the floor. Definitely must watch for that segment. The rest of the show was typical for the era and skippable."

[6.0] "Very underwhelming first night of The Grandest Stage of Them All that had a great duo of opening title matches and a beautifully-told Intercontinental title match. Everything else would have been better served as being on episodes of Raw or Smackdown respectively. Becky and Rhea had a slow start but the duo have great chemistry and I liked the result especially (big shout out to Motionless in White by the way for doing Rheas entrance live.) (8/10).The 12 pack tag title ladder match had some great spots and I was actually okay with the results even if A-Town Down Under winning the Smackdown tag titles felt like it came out of nowhere. Loved the payoff to Awesome Truth winning the tag titles and putting a close or brief respite to the R-Truth/Judgment Day storyline (8/10). The Rey/Andrade & Dom/Santos tag team match didnt really deserve to be on the show and I really felt like it added an pointlessly unneeded wrinkle to Dom and his fathers rivalry. I also think Dom and Santos shouldve won so it couldve given them much needed momentum since Dom really hasnt been written well character-wise lately (5/10). The less said about Jimmy and Jeys match the better despite the acting and story from the twin brothers being solid (3/10). The 6 woman tag match whilst important to the fact that 3 black women get to tag together for the first time at Mania was awesome but the match basically ruined Damage CTRLs reputation and the beginning was very boring in my opinion despite the strong finish. (6/10). The IC title match between Sami & Gunther was beautifully told story-wise and the in-ring work was solid and the underdog story inspired á la Rocky was an awesome touch as well. I do think adding Samis wifes reactions for live feed was an awesome touch as well. (10/10.). The tag team main event thats been hyped into oblivion was okay. Yes it did not need to go 45 minutes whatsoever and The Rock looked rather sloppy in his performance as well despite his heel work being devilishly awesome as of late. The final 15 minutes made the rating for this match higher and the performances from Cody, Seth, and Roman in particular were solid in my opinion (6/10)."

[8.0] "This was such an improvement over last nights underwhelming show, the way the story between Cody and Roman was beautifully told in-ring and even though Cena and Undertaker were awesome despite me thinking the latter would have Stone Cold instead like the rumours said. The opening match worked and I liked that they kept it short because of Seth working an extra shift tonight (bro needs a serious raise after this weekend in my opinion because he really is the true workhorse of this company alongside Gunther.). And I liked how Drew and Punks feud would be previewed down the line because that post-match scrum was cool. But what really elevated the score of this match for me was Damian Priests cash-in. Me being the Judgment Day fanboy that I am, I popped HARD for this moment and was proud of Damian for making his mark on Wrestlemania this year that will no doubt be overshadowed by Codys achievement more. (8/10). The 6 man tag street fight for me was okay and probably the weakest match on the show for me. I loved seeing the city of Philadelphia pop for Bubba Ray and having him be special guest ref was an awesome last minute addition in my opinion. The in-ring work was honestly lackluster aside from the Dudley WAZZUP! spot shoutout being a cheap callback but worked for what it was though. The ending was poor too considering they had to call an audible and get another table after the first one broke. Speaking of which, I feel like The Final Testament deserved this win because this loss will definitely hurt Karrion Kross credibility and momentum in the long-term (6/10). The LA Knight and AJ match was decent and had a couple of men who have solid chemistry and despite some minor slip ups was actually well done from a in-ring standpoint. That being said, this couldve benefited from being a No Holds Barred match considering it had the grudge match feel to it. I wished it couldve gone a few more minutes because the finish felt quite abrupt in my opinion. (7/10). The U.S. triple threat title match was solid and really brought the energy for an audience that was still hyped. Seeing Randy and Kevin beat the piss out of Logan really worked and this showed that despite how I feel about Logan, hes been getting better and better as a performer as well. Seeing iShowSpeed being the Prime mascot instead of KSI like last year was cool and it was hilarious to see him barking at Randy and getting his ass wooped by getting the RKO on the announce table was badass. (Though knowing what hes like as a person, maybe Randy couldve shoot punched him for my liking.) Really good finish with that sniveling heel getting the cheap win as well. (8/10). The match between Bayley and Iyo Sky was damn near perfect in my opinion and really showed great in-ring psychology and dramatic storytelling from both woman and it was awesome to see Bayley finally get a big win at Wrestlemania with her being one of the original Four Horsewomen. The crowd was red hot for Bayley and it showed when she picked up the victory. (9/10). The main event for me is why I love wrestling. The emotions, the in-ring work, and Romans already masterful use of his glacial pacing in the beginning working to his greatest advantage with him being overly cocky at first and then getting desperate and desperate as Cody keeps kicking out. Seeing all the overbooked spots with all of the wrestlers either helping Cody or Roman respectively was awesome. Seeing Cena and The Undertaker is awesome like I already said. Biggest problem I have with the post-match celebration was seeing them give credit to Bruce Prichard whom I feel doesnt deserve any considering recent events. But my issues with management aside, I was so happy to see that this main event was so better than the overlong and underwhelming tag main event of last night. Overall, really was an awesome night that Ill remember for years to come."

[8.0] "This was a great nxt , great matches , and solid story progression. The best match was the men's fatal four way , everyone showed out and looked like they intended to put on a fantastic match , great strikes and fast paced action. The worst match was Axiom vs Frazer , there was some good athletic moments , but it was stopped by a brawl at ringside which was very poorly placed. The best segment or moment was Nikkita returning , it's good to see her back even though she would get injured again even though she just returned it feels like she's injury prone. Match ratings Women's fatal four way 8/10 , Lola vs Paxley 7/10 , Alpha vs Meta four 8/10 , Axiom vs Frazer 7/10 , Tyler vs Melo vs Eddy vs Joe 8/10."

[9.0] "This was a near perfect go home. It built the intensity for Dynasty so well. That promo for Mox was the pro-AEW promo that "everyone was hoping for." It was real and authentic and you could tell he meant every single word he said. Nothing but guts and the ambition to be great. I FN love Mox. Julia seems really hurt, She did almost nothing in this match and I think it sets up a nice win for Willow. Okada is so damn good and Pac is wrestling like he has something to prove. They might steal the show which is insane to think with Ospreay/Danielson on the card. Mariah May is a signing that doesn't get enough credit. With all the big names coming into AEW this year she might quietly be proving she is just as important as the big 3. Also she has now given Deonna her best match in AEW. If they gave the time for the Jericho segment to the main, trios, or the women's match this would prob have been 10/10 Dynamite for me. OC and Shane Taylor was a fine match, good continuation of the OC/Trent/Best friends feud. This main was Awesome. Ospreay and Claudio absolutely delivered. The swing counter, crowd work, that hidden blade. All quality. Never doubt these two. The post match saw a good little brawl which set up a collision match and the split of Ospreay and the DCF. The ending segment with Swerve and Joe was so BEAST! Both interviews earlier in the night were awesome. Then Swerve got to talk to the live crowd before double stomping security and having a nice brawl with Joe. Joe came out on top and held the title high. Awesome show."

[8.0] "This was a strong show with clear storyline beats for Dynasty that used both matches and promos in a smart, efficient way. From an in-ring perspective, I'd recommend going back to watch the Trios match and the main event if you missed the show. Both of those are well worth the watch, especially the Main Event. The build for Swerve/Joe was punctuated nicely in this episode with the closing angle (the Swerve stomp onto the crowd of security guards was a great visual effect), and I'm really looking forward to that match at Dynasty. Same story for Danielson/Ospreay and Bucks/FTR. All three of those matches have delivered from a storyline perspective, and will likely over-deliver in the ring on Sunday. The Cassidy/Trent stuff isn't a home run (yet), but it's working toward an interesting pay-off and it's good to see Shane Taylor's faction get camera time and a real angle. The women's division has multiple angles that don't involve the two belts, so that's a refreshing development since Mone joined AEW (even if her forte remains ringwork, which is frustratingly delayed until DoN). The Jericho stuff with HOOK isn't terrible, but it eats up so much precious TV time on the flagship show that it's bound to get justified indifference. Hopefully they take Jericho off TV for a while after Dynasty."

[8.0] "Very good Dynamite, the only thing that I thought was not worth tv time is the Orange Cassidy vs Shane Taylor with Trent basically reminding everyone that he turned heel... But it didn't brought any thing to the story. Also obviously Jericho sucks and Dynasty didn't need that match with Hook on an already perfect card, but gotta admit that at least Jericho is the clear obnoxious heel and it could actually help Hook as the crowd reaction when Taz got attacked was very loud, just a meh program. AEW nailed it on everything else, Jon Moxley the new IWGP Champ is the ACE of the world. I guess Julia Hart is a little hurt and so it explains the opener with Copeland doing most of the match alone, but then Willow arrived like the big babyface that she is and did great. Mercedes Moné got a little more interesting for this after-match. The Young Bucks and especially Matt Jackson was awesome and funny for the trio, not a banger but it worked, Daniel Garcia took the pin but it didn't took anything from him, PAC look like a credible enough menace for Okada, I just wish FTR would have made the save for Garcia at the end. Deonna vs Mariah May is a good match but what happened after was good too, I hope Deonna is gonna be added to the women's championship match to make it a 3 way at Dynasty. Will Ospreay vs Claudio Castagnoli is a great main event, Claudio is surhumman and his style worked perfectly with Ospreay's agility style. I thought the after match beatdown was not necessary though. The episode ends with a very good promo for Samoa Joe vs Swerve Strickland, this time Joe takes advantage of the situation, a basic but clean way to build to the big PPV match."

[9.0] "This episode was back on form. Everything flowed nicely from segment to segment and most built to Sunday's PPV. The main event was the real highlight with Ospreay winning over the crowd as usual. The mixed tags match was fun but seemed set up in a way to give Julia Hart a break. Copeland and Brody had great chemistry and should definitely run that back for a TNT title match. The trios match was really fun and the Elite stole the show as usual. Some will not like the Jericho segment or what it's leading to, but I'm glad he's leaning in to the heel character at least. Also... we're finally get the damn BCG vs Acclaimed match and it's a buy-in match. Thank God. Overall, a very good go home and a proper episode to lead to the PPV."

[] "Satisfying go home show ahead of Dynasty that flowed nicely into a PPV worthy main event. Intergender tag matches are usually fairly disposable, so not the expected way to open the show, but the crowd was into Copeland/Willow vs Julia/House of Black, and it worked to promote the two related Dynasty matchups. They wove several interviews into the show and it felt like every upcoming PPV match was touched on, while stand out matches like the six man Elite vs Garcia/Pac/Penta and Claudio vs Osperay delivered the expected AEW match quality. Even after a great main event, there was still time for a face off between Joe and Swerve that showcased Swerve's intensity and title lust. One of their better go home shows overall."

[6.0] "Not the greatest of Raw episodes when it comes to matches, but the promos and feuds being pushed are great. There's a great DX promo where they break kayfabe by showing the "Curtain Call" footage and the main event is nothing special, but it does a good job building the HBK vs Bret title match at Survivor Series with Shawn Michaels continuing to push the envelope with his antics at ringside. Kane's debut on Raw is short and sweet demolishing the Hardy Boyz before his manager Paul Bearer cuts a good promo with some of the fans at ringside looking terrified of him. Cornette working a shoot on Eric Bischoff and the NWO is about as ridiculously entertaining as you'd expect and there's also a good Austin/McMahon segment where Austin agrees to sign his paper if he gets a rematch Owen Hart. Unfortunately not everything comes together with this show because most of the matches are pretty terrible, although this was beginning an era that was focusing more on storylines and also Vince McMahon choosing to interview Melanie Pillman just a day after Brian's death was unbelievably tone deaf and his line of questioning was very insensitive! The sad thing is they actually put a really good tribute video together with Jim Ross narrating it, but the decision to exploit his death for ratings made the entire thing look disingenuous!"

[4.0] "The crowd was into this for some reason, elevating this show beyond what it really was. When taken as a stand along show this is adequate I suppose. There's wasn't a truly bad match or segment on here and everything served some king of purpose. The problem is that an adequate show just isn't enough at this point. AEW has don't itself too much damage. Nobody is truly over with me (and I would argue nobody is over, period, except for with the diehard AEW fans). Edge came over to aew and is already less over than when he started. He's having competitive matches with people I don't care about one single bit. Penta (last week) might be a good luchador but he's terrible at telling a story in the ring and he shouldn't be competing 50/50 with Edge. It brings Edge down. Brody King is nothing more than a big fat guy with blothes of ink over his body (something that doesn't stand out in 2024). He impresses for an indie guy, a monster to beat, and I'd love to see him on a local show but he shouldn't be on tv on this level. Maybe for tna, mlw or nwa he could be worth it. The Elite have don't nothing interesting in, ever, in aew. They've brougth Okada down in only a couple of weeks and last week they brought the whole company down. I don't want to see them ever again. I do not care about Toni Storm. Her gimmick was funny for the first few weeks but she's making the women's division into a laughing stock now. I kinda like Orange Cassidy but he hasn't done anything interesting lately and I have no reason to care about this heel turn of Trent. Will Ospreay I saw as a really good get for aew. He's an incredible in ring talent and has had incredible matches. However, I skipped this random match. I don't know why he's fighting Claudio and I don't care. His promo last week lost him a lot of respect from me. In short, I either don't care, am indifferent or have no respect at all for everyone involved in this show. As long as they have tv they can always make a comeback. There's no such thing as irreversible damage. Good creative can fix any problem. I've legitimately enjoyed the first 2-3 years of aew. It's been a while though and every week they lose themselves more viewers. I hope they bounce back but mayor changes need to be made and sadly signs point to them doubling down on all the bad decisions rather than fixing anything."

I skipped the women's and OC matches. The main event match was OK, I'm actually glad they didn't try for another epic. The performers of the night were Adam Copeland for keeping the crowd alive, and Daniel Garcia for making Okada look great."

[4.0] "For me, this is a super middle of the road episode of Dynamite. The main thing I usually enjoy about AEW shows, whether it be Dynamite, Rampage, or Collision, is the vibes, and for me, the vibes were super off on this episode. Now obviously, the Punk/Perry footage is the main thing everyone is talking about, and I honestly didn't really feel one way or the other. I don't disagree with showing it necessarily, I just thought it should've been done much earlier. I sure as hell don't agree with people saying it was "WCW 2000 bad" as those are likely just bad faith takes to get people even more riled up. I appreciate how they tried to incorporate it into a story and presented the footage in kayfabe. I also didn't really have as much of a problem with Ospreay's promo as everyone else did. Hunter fired the first shot on national TV, and Ospreay rightfully pushed back on it since it's simply untrue and super out of pocket given what we know about Ospreay's home life. As for the rest of the show, I enjoyed the Mariah/Anna match, and the Mina aftermath, I really liked the Swerve/Joe opening and closing brawls, and I actually thought the main event was pretty alright, although I don't understand why Joe had to beat Dustin by cheating, also the Jericho stuff is super boring and I just feel bad that Hook and Shibata are caught up in this meaningless Jericho story."

I didn't liked the Main Event that much, and I absolute hate the Jericho-HOOK storyline. Production was also a little weird in the show, hopefully they can rebound on this, cause the PPV is around the corner."

[6.0] "The undercard holds this show back from being better, so this will remain decent and nothing more. Otherwise, Mick Foley putting over younger, future Hall-of-Fame talent is always a plus, and the main event Triple Threat is still good, even if the WrestleMania 20 Triple Threat was better."

[8.0] "Very solid Dynasty go-home Dynamite with a hot crowd. Made me excited for various matches, while also keeping some stories going for after the PPV. There were a couple weird booking decisions, which is what keeps this from a 9 or 10. Don't really know why Willow got beat so easily days before what I assume is going to be her big crowning moment, and also felt Taylor should've gone over Cassidy, as I've been loving STP's work over the past weeks and think the story of Cassidy having no friends would've worked better with a Shane Taylor win. However the highs were much more noticeable on this show, Moxley's promo was incredible (as usual) and reminded of me of how much I missed him while he was off the show competing in NJPW. Ospreay vs Claudio was extremely fun, just 2 generational athletes making this shit look easy. The closing brawl between Joe and Swerve was my favorite segment of the night, made Swerve and Joe both look badass in their own respective ways, and I'm so ready for Swerve to (hopefully) be crowned on Sunday."

[4.0] "The weakest episode so far. For the show to be believable, some fights should end in a draw due to time running out. Beating your opponent in less than 3 minutes should be a challenge, not a given. I was hoping they would decide to do so in this fight, but unfortunately they didn't."

[8.0] "This was a really good go-home show. A huge step ahead compared to last week's Dynamite. Just shows how easy it can be to deliver a good show if you focus only on your company, your wrestlers and on telling good stories in and out the ring. The show kicked off with Jon Moxley returning as IWGP World champion. This guys is "him". And he has been "him" since day one in AEW. This company is not quite the same when he's not around and here he delivered a great promo. The opening mixed tag was quite dissapointing: they relayed on the old story of the "injured partner coming in to take the hot tag" but when Willow got the hot tag, the match ended immediately leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Probably has a lot to do with Julia's injury but, still, the match wasn't very good overall. Joe had a great backstage interview. The guy is just deadly when he speaks. The Elite vs. Pac, Penta and Garcia was a really good match. The Elite are one of best things in AEW right now, if you take away the dreadful All In footage segment. Them stopping FTR's package from airing was awesome. The Hook/Jericho stuff is bad, I just don't care about it anymore. Can't belive they them gave a PPV spot and throwed Jay White and BCG in the pre-show. Purrazzo vs. May was meh, post-match was good though. The women's division is heating up right now, both the TBS scene and World title scene. OC vs. Taylor was good. Taylor is great, glad they are pushing him. Beretta stopping any possible allies to save OC was great too. Ospreay vs. Castagnoli was the best match of the night by far, awesome bout. Swerve and Joe's closing segment was tremendous. Best feud in AEW. Can't wait for Swerve's crowning moment. Overall: there were some negatives but the majority of the show was really good, with good segment and matches. Dynasty looks good."

[9.0] "Really good show, flowed nicely. Could've used a few more minutes in the main but it was still a great match. All the matches tonight were good to great. It's also nice to see the focus move onto more AEW young guys - the Don Callis family is full of them and even Shane Taylor Promotions is now starting to look dangerous. Was good that we saw Swerve and Joe at the end, especially as it'll be the main on Sunday and we're (probably, hopefully) seeing a new champion crowned. Made better by the fact we heard from them both earlier in the show and then again later on. I feel like we don't necessarily need to only see one person the once on a show."

[6.0] "[3.00/5.00]: Besides the Ospreay main event in a great match, there's nothing much to like here. Even the much-liked and hilarity of Bucks doing their own in-ring commentary was met with "CM Punk chants" in the midst of it. As a go-home show, this didn't really make me that invested in the Dynasty PPV, given that most of it feels like a replay of an episode they would do a night prior on Collission, if I can see it free, why would I need to pay. But a loud-hot crowd saved the majority of this show, them doing a show in a smaller arena looked better today aesthetically too. Most promos did come underhanded but nothing too awful to complain about. A decent showing to get them on the right track."

[4.0] "A fine match, but still a pretty weak one given the caliber of both these guys. Both come from separate tag teams from separate brands, so the result writes itself. Johnny Gargano feigning a knee/ankle injury didn't leave any room for it to matter given the match's constraints."

[6.0] "All in all a pretty watchable show. The worst stretch for me was definitely that block of Ali vs Hiromu followed by the big tag match. Wasn't into those at all. Everything else was at least okay. I'm not sure there's anything which really stands out as "Must see" match-wise, but there's other stuff there like the Chicago crowd interacting with Jack Perry and a main event which will get people talking. I haven't seen much of Stephanie Vaquer before this but I thought she came across as very well-rounded. This was also the biggest and loudest US audience New Japan has had in a while and that helped elevate the show."

[6.0] "Most people buying this would have been getting it for the first ever Hell in a Cell match and it was a 5 star masterpiece. The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels had a great feud leading up to the match and the match remains to this day as one of the best Hell in a Cell matches of all time. It's a very chaotic and satisfyingly brutal match with Shawn pretty much beaten to a pulp and Kane's iconic debut to cost Undertaker the match was the icing on the cake! The main event is essential, but the undercard wasnt very good and a lot of the performances on this was affected by the tragic loss of Brian Pillman just hours before the show where you also had last minute changes to the show. The best match was probably The Rock's first PPV match as a heel for the Nation in 3-on-2 handicap match with LOD. There was some fun with Owen Hart v Faarooq because of Austin's shenanigans at ringside. The flag match was below par given the talent involved and really wasn't a good enough match to justify not having a WWF Title match on the card."

[5.0] "Worst episode out of the three, but not the worst match out of the four. Aside from the plain squash that Bronson Reed vs Cedric Alexander was, every other match featured more competitive spirit and dynamysm, while this match felt more dull and unimportant. It doesn't help the fact Ángel Garza is a complete jobber nowadays while Gargano at least is getting constant Tag Title matches, so the result was obvious. Like other matches, the sense of urgency was there, but not at the same level, and neither men went that further with their performance and their intensity was rather low. Decent match for this stipulation, but not on the level of Lee vs Ricochet or JD vs Axiom (** 1/2)"

Copeland had a fun match that appeared to be a cover for the rumored Julia injury and it still managed to give her the win over Willow. The six man tag match was a blast. I actually liked the Jericho and Hook segment. I thought it was going to suck but it reeled me in. Deonna vs Mariah was very good and I'd like to see them do it again. Orange vs Shane Taylor was a lot of fun. The main event was incredible. And I loved how Swerve and Samoa Joe was sold throughout the night and they went off the air in a very hot way. Very enjoyable Dynamite. Would watch again."

You havent been through the trenches my friend. I honestly thought this WrestleMania was really good. Is it perfect? Fuck no it isnt. [8.0] "This goddamn show reeling me right back in after I thought about quitting after the shitshow last week. Tons of story going on this week, keeping all the feuds hot for Dynasty coming up. All of the matches were solid to good, with lots of character work woven throughout. Highlights of the night for me would be the Bucks and Okada heel work (Matt on the mic getting suplexed was great shit), and Trent stopping any possible allies from assisting Orange during the beatdown. The women are wonderfully busy right now, and there's trouble bubbling up between babyface Ospreay and the Callis faction. Promo work tonight was strong from Moxley's opener to Swerve and Joe getting heat. Even Mercedes was good tonight! Jericho segment was the only part I thought would suck, but actually wasn't too bad with him turning heel. Hook could benefit greatly from some time in ROH though."

[8.0] "Decent go-home show this week. Starts off with a good Mox promo (he's usually a good promo anyway) and ends with another angle where Joe ultimately destroys Swerve which, at this point, guarantees Swerve will be taking the belt off Joe this weekend. That being said, Swerve's stomp to guards was hilarious. Terrific match between Claudio and Ospreay with Ospreay quickly being a workhorse for AEW. The man delivers a 15 min match before his PPV and operates smooth as he is a cardio machine himself. Fun bout between Shane Taylor and OC, furthering Trent's storyline with OC however I imagine it'll be dragged down a bit especially since it will also directly or indirectly affect the whole stable. An important notation given to OC was: He was alone for the first time in his AEW career. That eventually brings us down to the Romero's cross promotion work and Taylor's injury and that Statlander tease... So, only time will tell what we are exactly getting into. I wouldn't mind a STP vs remaining Best Friends in a parking lot fight. HoB vs Copeland & Nightingale had an interesting aspect to it but I found the finish a bit awkward as Copeland was disinterested in Julia choking Nightingale. Both Copeland & Brody King had coherent performances throughout the match and both Nightingale & Julia were involved in very limitedly. Willow's offence against Brody was fun. The Elite's trios match was a very standard Elite/Bucks match and if you like them, you'll like this one too. I'd expect better from Purazzo and May but it was fine for what it's worth. Although most parts were skippable this edition of Dynamite does an overall good job at selling the PPV."

[9.0] "Great go home show. Mox with the IWGP belt feels like a fever dream, he came across as the coolest dude in the world cutting that promo. If it was the previous version of the IWGP belt it would have been a flawless opener. Having Willow get attacked in the back to make the mix tag match a singles due to Julia being a bit hurt is a smart way to work around that. Willow coming out and getting some moves off on Brody was a hoot. Six man tag was a fun little match with Okada showing how good he is at the little things. May/Deonna was fine but the post match was good set up for the PPV. Shane/OC was a fun little match, with Trent of all people getting good heat. Main event was an absolute blast. Will has yet to miss in AEW and hes soon going to become undeniable in the world title picture. Swerve/Joe segment was tremendous. Multiple people in my text chain gushing about how good Serve looked after that promo. The only blemish was Jericho, unsurprisingly."

[9.0] "A great Dynamite and as a Spanish speaker, it was a very spectacular program for me with Carlos Cabrera as commentator, something that will influence my final grade for the better. Great start with Moxley, very good promo and later with everything that happened in the Copeland, Willow and House of Black angle it was very interesting. The fight itself was not that spectacular, but I was satisfied. Very good trio fight between The Elite vs Garcia, Penta and PAC, good synchronization, dynamism and chemistry between everyone involved, I loved it. I liked the women's fight, on my scale it was quite outstanding, but I felt uncomfortable with the ending after the fight with Thunder, something didn't fit me. Decent Orange vs Taylor match, but the later segment was pretty good. The main event was by far the best fight of the night, it is incredible how Ospreay can have a better fight than the previous one and this one is not far behind. The only bad thing about the night would be Jericho's segment, which is very "burned" with the public, he needs to take an urgent break from AEW programming. Finally, the hiring of Carlos Cabrera on the commentary table in Spanish for AEW is by far a giant success, many of us grew up listening to his voice for years and this will attract many people to consume the programming from Mexico down. Regarding the program, it was quite good, with a few small downturns, but that does not take away from an outstanding program. 9/10."

[6.0] "GIRLS ON GIRLS ALL NIGHT LONG! Another random decently-fun house show from TJPW that just happened to have Juria Nagano's final match and retirement ceremony placed on it. Sad to see her go. Main event was fine, but the semi-main was quite nice and I also liked watching Kamiyu beat the snot out of the "brat" Uta."

[10.0] "t was a good show overall. The in-ring highlight was obviously the Will Ospreay-Claudio Castagnoli match. They are both awesome and meshed together very well. Lots of counters by both guys throughout the match before Ospreay got the predictable win. Most of the other matches were okay. The better episodes of Dynamite have better matches than what we got this week. I know they have three hours on Saturday and then Dynasty on Sunday, so they are saving good matches for the PPV. I think other than Ospreay-Claudio, the Jon Moxley promo was the next best part of the episode. Most of the Joe-Swerve stuff was entertaining too."

[8.0] "As far as a go-home show goes, it did its job. Although some of the wrestling noticeably took a backseat to make sure that the talent involved are ready to go on Sunday night (Willow/Cope vs. House of Black being the obvious go-to example), we didn't get any complete stinkers, solidifying this Dynamite as yet another show that just flies by without you really noticing the time. And hey, we still got some pretty good wrestling from men who don't know the meaning of moderation (I'm looking at you, Ospreay). Additionally, the added promo segments did well in not only selling Dynasty, but also starting on the Double or Nothing build (I'm calling it here: Don Callis Family vs. Blackpool Combat Club in Anarchy in the Arena is gonna bang). A consistent and well-placed presentation makes for a very enjoyable show, even if - as I said - some of the wrestling was more sedate."

[8.0] "As a fan of Attitude Era WWF, I really enjoy this show. I truly believe this PPV was the peak of the mountain we call the Attitude Era. It marked the end of the original Austin vs McMahon feud, the end of the Austin vs Undertaker feud, and was officially the beginning of Triple H being a World Title contender (his original I am the game promo was on the pre-show Sunday Night Heat). Sure, the Attitude Era continued on for a few more years, but this really stands out as the end of the first half of it to me. Aside from my feelings on that though, I thought the First Blood Match main event between Austin and Taker was really fun, if not a bit overbooked. The Iron Circle Match was new and different (watch for Kurt Angle as an extra, months before his debut). The Hardcore Title Match was fun, but pretty much your typical1999 WWF Hardcore match. Was nice to see a strap match, and there was a ton of title changes on this show, which I know isnt necessarily appealing to some people, but at least you cant say it was an uneventful show. If theres anything negative for me to say about this show its that as fun as it is, there isnt really any great wrestling matches on it. Plenty of entertaining matches, but youre not gonna find any five star bouts on here (though most people are aware not to expect too many of those matches during this era). At the end of the day, if you like the Attitude Era then you should really enjoy this show. If you dont like the Attitude Era, this probably isnt for you, because as I said before, this is without a doubt peak Attitude Era."

[7.0] "A good go-home show for Dynasty and a nice change of pace after last week's disasterous Dynamite. The match card on its own is fairly decent and does a good job building up for Dynasty. The main event between Claudio Castagnoli & Will Ospreay was the best match of the night obviously. They aderessed a lot of feuds this week and gave a lot of time for it. We do get some iffy feud development for feuds like BCG vs. Acclaimed with a challenge on Collision, Ospreay vs. Danielson which was only built up with a single match and nothing else...Young Bucks vs. FTR with Bucks cutting FTR's package and Strong vs. O'Reilly with a small promo. Soho/Parker & The Saraya story wasn't mentioned obviously due to it being a B/C show feud but it makes you wonder why even have it as a feud. Someone has been attacking the women and they are doing a reveal soon. The best feud at the moment is Swerve and Joe which their incredible segment where Swerve killed the security guards with a stomp. [***1/2]"

[7.0] "So, it was a great show, a cool one even. The Mixed Tag Team was interesting, Jericho's segment was okay, the low point of the show, but of course, compared to the last few weeks and being the last show leading up to a PPV with additional announcements for the Dynasty PPV, having great matches involving Will Ospreay and Claudio, it was fun to watch. Moxley opening as the new champion of Japan, and closing the show fighting with his opponent might be the point to analyze. Will Ospreay vs Claudio Castagnoli: **** Classic TV Show Match"

[4.0] "What a boring show. Sure, lots of matches, but none of it mattered. As a program to sell Dynasty, it did not do its job. In a vacuum it was fine. At least we didn't get another 10 minute Bucks promo. I'm really unimpressed with the build to Osprey/Danielson. Wouldn't it make more sense to actually have Danielson play heel and throw his stablemates at Osprey? I think so. I just feel like this entire run between Revolution and now is a bit snakebit. Obviously they'll probably put it together for a good PPV, but it's something I'm not looking forward to, beyond the world title fight, which feels like an afterthought."

[10.0] "Great Dynamite episode, great crowd, great matches, great promos, great character work, great build for PPV, you cannot get more in a weekly TV show. Osprey is definitely hurt by some of the comments said for him in the past few days, you can see the fire in him, he is looking like the old Osprey ( before the injury), he is going to give his all on Sunday, which could very lead to the best match in AEW history. Mox always brings energy to the show, it was smart to open with him. The women's matches have now definitely upped their game and Toni's character work is unbelievable. Mercedes first time felt like herself, today being a heel tease. Adam Copeland is very consistent with his matches and tonight was the same. No as such downs, only thing that could have been - more focus on the World Title picture although promo by Joe was excellent. PPV build has been good and the card is an all timer, AEW PPV is going to deliver again."

[10.0] "The exact show that AEW needed after last weeks bad taste of All In, a spoon full of great AEW action helps the storylines go down, and boy howdy did we get it tonight, a show that built up how important Dynasty is for everything, Swerve/Joe feels white hot, Ospreay/Danielson is dream worthy, having Mox back to cut that opening promo felt like he was about to run through a brick wall, and everything else on this show was absolutely top notch, great womens action great trios action and an absolute killer of a main event, the only negative is Mercedes' rather iffy promo but I thought she recovered well with the run in saving Willow later, overall a must watch episode of AEW leading to what could possibly be the greatest PPV AEW has ever done."

[6.0] "Good episode, but I felt like most matches fell flat in their faces. DIY making their re-debut on Raw is good, and Chelsea Green vs Natalya is a solid comedy match but the rest felt interchangeable. The Miz-GUNTHER segment is genuinely fantastic, McIntyre's backstage promo is very good and Seth's promo is also solid. But everything involving Judgment Day is stale AF. Nikki Cross' new shtick is horrible and makes no sense. On a side not, Triple H stop trying to make Xia Li a thing challenge IMPOSSIBLE."

[9.0] "The slander towards this show is crazy to me. I don't know how people can call a show with FOUR great matches "mid" or that it "didn't feel like WrestleMania." There are a number of WrestleManias with only two great matches that are rated higher on this site. Becky vs Rhea was a great opener, and even better in hindsight when you learn that Becky was sick and Rhea had a panic attack backstage before the match. The ladder match was a blast with so many fun spots and moments. Maybe a little awkward having two winners in the same match but it didn't affect my enjoyment. R-Truth is a national treasure. Rey and Andrade vs Santos and Dom was fun for what it was. This match was hotshot onto the card but I won't complain about getting some solid lucha action. I've never seen a double stacked cross body. That was sick. The Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson cameos, though nonsensical in story, were fun. I like when WWE makes a point to embrace the city they are performing in. Jimmy vs Jey was my only real disappointment. The hype package was fantastic but the match fell flat. The 6-woman tag was exactly what I expected - a quick showcase for Jade and a way to get more people on the card. Sami vs Gunther was fantastic. I was in the camp of feeling like Chad Gable made more sense as Gunther's Mania opponent but I enjoyed the Rocky storyline and Sami's entrance completely got me on board with him to the point that I popped when he won. Highly effective storytelling. The main event tag match was a spectacle. It was surreal to see the Rock live in a match in 2024. And not a 6 second "match" like at Mania 32. This was a 45 minute epic. The video package and entrances took almost a half hour so when the match started slowly, I got a little restless. However, they really pulled me back in by the end. Upon rewatch, it was a stellar main event. My first live Mania experience was unforgettable, even if it was a little chilly."

[7.0] "In full transparency, this was the very first wXw show I've ever seen; while saying this, I thought this was a really good show. One night tournaments can be hit or miss, but this one was pretty good. A good spotlight for some talented women here. My favourite match of the night was the main event; which I thought was great. For me, the person that shined the most was Leyla Hirsch; who had a really good showing for herself. My least favourite matches were Baby Allison vs Lana Austin and LuFisto vs Vivien, but both were decent; my problem with the latter more it being so short. A good show that left me wanting to check out more wXw."

[6.0] "A pretty lackluster show. The main event and co-main are good but I feel both of them come up short of great, mainly due to time allocation. The rest is a bunch of decent to good matches, an all-time stinker and a lot of filler and commercials. Illness limited the quality of Rhea vs Lynch, one of the feature matches and the opener, meaning that we only really get something really good in the co-main event, some 3 hours into the show"

[7.0] "Solid RAW this week. Rhea's promo to vacate her title sets up a future revisitation of her feud [which was still ongoing tbf] against Liv Morgan which could establish Liv as a better heel with a better conclusion for the rivalry. Fun promo between Trips, R-Truth, Miz and Pierce. New titles look cool and they were long overdue. Contendership match was fun and I'd say DIY is the right winner as they are hot right now. Another fun match between Andrade and Dominik. Two entirely trivial sub 5 min women's action. For some reason, women matches have been the achilles heel of the recent RAWs. It's not like they don't have talent either. Balor vs Jey was meh, usual TV match where a previous main eventer loses to a single trademark finisher move which happens to be a weak spear unfortunately. I won't get why he insists on spears. Great main event between Chad and Zayn. I was skeptical about Gable's second heel run but this could justify it. I loved the sudden suplex in front of Zayn's wife followed by a vicious second-rope ankle lock by the ring post."

[6.0] "This was a pretty average episode of Rampage. We opened with Orange Cassidy taking on Alex Reynolds in a match that really didn't work for me. I think I'm finally getting tired of Orange. Julia Hart defended her TBS Title against Leyla Hirsch in a match that was shaping up well, until an injury forced a premature end. We finally got to see Zak Knight in the ring as he fought Angelo Parker in a good match. Finally, Jay White and Matt Sydal put on a Match of the Night performance."

[8.0] "This review comes after a rewatch. While there was not as much fun for me in the matches themselves this time around, i feel that this show highlights an aspect of PROGRESS that i've fallen in love with. The sense of community and kinship that is shared between the company and its regulars. During the in-betweens, Jim Smallman takes the time to shoot the shit with the fans and make them feel special. Nobody does this kind of stuff anymore, not just out of the dangers of parasocial relationships but also because you simply cannot make this kind of connection anymore. I think it's very sweet."

[5.0] "There's some good storylines and segments here with the strong Hell in a Cell build with Taker and Michaels with a fun segment to end the show and the confrontation with Austin and Vince was really good with the mystery of weather Austin would be fired or not and he has a great moment when he stuns Owen Hart dressed as a riot Police officer. Unfortunately the matches aren't very good on this show and most of the matches on Badd Blood looked pretty mid, particularly without a WWF Title match booked for the show for no good reason. Unfortunately this also had the last ever televised appearance of Brian Pillman."
