[7.0] "A mostly really good show, with the main-card matches all ranging from quite good to very good. The opener -- Mori's retirement match -- was a really fun sprint where everyone worked hard. Some great hope spots for Mori. Wish this went on longer, but still decent. ***. Choshu vs Ichikawa was fine Ichikawa comedy stuff. NR. Kagetora vs Kzy only had interesting work from Kagetora, but ended quickly after that part started. **1/2. Pac vs Kid was tied for MOTN, being a very impressive showing from both men. Pac's high-flying attacks all looked devastating despite also being beautifully executed, and Kid's own high-flying was obviously great too. Both guys bumped very well (especially Pac), though both could have generally sold a bit better. It went overkill with big moves and finishers in the final 5 mins, but it was all at least very well executed. ***3/4. K-ness & Susumu vs Gamma & Doi started off slow and a bit dull with Gamma and Doi working basic brawl control, but it picked up a lot for Susumu's hot tag, causing Gamma and Doi to then work with far more focus and drive. It then became a typical DG sprint, with all 4 guys working hard to produce some exciting tag spots and sequences. K-ness' resilience at the end was awesome. ***1/2. The 3-way Triangle Gate match wasn't as impressive as some of other DG Triangle Gate matches on PPV have been, but it was still quite a good match, with heaps of fun 3-way exchanges that made use of a variety of different triplets, granting each of the 9 guys time to show off. This definitely suffered from a complete lack of pure high-flyers (Ricochet, Pac, Kid, etc.), and the interactions became a bit samey after a while due to it going so long, but the work was still quite enjoyable. ***1/4. Yoshino vs Cima was the other MOTN contender, and a very good match. Cima's movements and attacks were very fluid and stylish, and Yoshino made great use of his fantastic speed. Both guys bumped very well and speedily laced together some very cool exchanges and spots. It did feel a bit too much like simple big-bomb trading, but both men still performed well at it. Yoshino's eventual comeback felt a bit ridiculous, considering how much offence he ate and how minimally he sold the long-term effects, but I enjoyed the story of Cima's exhaustion (due to having to hit Yoshino with so much offence) preventing him quite a few times from getting the likely successful pin. Overboard, but still heaps of fun and very impressive technical-wise. ***3/4"
