[7.0] "A return to form for DGUSA, producing one of their best shows since their first 3. Tozawa vs Mochizuki was a fun opener, with Mochizuki's stiff kicks going up against Tozawa's unbridled energy, leading to many entertaining exchanges. ***1/4. Dux vs Akuma was fine, with both men playing their respective roles well, but it wasn't anything noteworthy. **3/4. Jacobs vs Moxley was the worst match on the show (unsurprisingly, given Moxley's hardcore/brawl matches do nothing for me). Both men's actual wrestling offences looked good, but the brawling and interference held it all back massively. **1/2. Doi & Pac vs Jigsaw & Quack was a pretty good match. It was creative, fast-paced, and featured heaps of impressive high-flying action. It became a total sprint in the second half, leading to many cool spots and convincing near falls. I wish this went a bit longer. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Cima & Kid vs Shingo & Yamato was undoubtedly MOTN. Cima and Kid were loveably babyfaces, while Shingo & Yamato were truly dastardly heels. Every spot and exchanges following Cima and Kid's hot comeback was super smooth and impactful, with each wrestler giving it their all. The final 5 minutes were simply awesome. ***3/4 - ****. Hulk vs Yoshino wasn't great but it was still a really good effort from both guys. Both showed off their flashy yet technical-based attacks early on, saving their acrobatics and high-flying for later. They sold well when getting worked over, with Hulk bumping fantastically as always, making Yoshino's attacks look even more vicious. Hulk's passionate babyface comebacks were outstanding. The final few minutes were great, and the only real issue is that the drama didn't get a few minutes longer to continue building up before paying off. ***1/2"
