[8.0] "HIGHLIGHTS: Great opening segment. Nice touch having Sami unintentionally (? ) upstaging Reigns' arrival backstage then a good mic exchange that covered their history, the Bloodline's war with 946, and their upcoming Crown Jewel match. Followed by a good opener between Penta and Bron with a satisfying finish that should further the chances of Bron separating from The Vision. Iyo Sky is on my TV and seems to be in line for an IC Championship shot. That triple threat main event. MOTY contender and there might not be a wrestler on a hotter streak right now than Chad Gable. Post-match segment with Cass and Page got great heat, I'm just a little worried that they might actually take the IC off Gable. 946 and Bloodline was a really hot way to close the show. 046 have been booked to perfection thus far, and this isn't the first time I'm making the comparison to Shield and Wyatts. LOWLIGHTS: Hendry and JD still doing the Funko Pop thing as we near November. Please let them move on. OTHER NOTABLE SHIT: I'm still on the fence about Je'Von being on TV. It keeps him hot and means people don't forget about him, but after the bump at MITB and then the attack on Raw 2 days later, it would've made sense to write him off for a few weeks at least. Bayley and Lyra in a no DQ match next week which /could/ be the former's goodbye given the conflicting reports about her having re-signed. OVERALL: A show bookended really well. Great opening promo segment, good opening match. MOTY contender main event, great and hot closing segment. A really good show."
[7.0] "2 interesting things happened: brawl between 946 and Bloodline, triple threat for IC title. I swear I can watch only ple, skipping weekly shows and have full scene picture. Same JD every week Liv talks about being fighting champion um you defended title 2 times in 4 months, absolute nonsense big head Joe Hendry story, Breakker still in Vision. And when Breakker + Austin gonna defend tag titles? oh wait never because male tag team division on RAW doesn't exist"
"No rating because I don't feel like writing an essay to make the requirement. All I want to say is this bloodline bullshit has been going on for 6 fucking years."
[9.0] "This was so good, the opening segment being both chanpions talking about crown jewel was really interesting, there is a thing that I didn't like though and is how they roman brought up his match against Cody, it was a dark match, which means that I couldn't watch it and nothing would have happened, that aside great promo, I like their dynamic of starting as friends remembering their time at bloodline to trying to intimidate the other, sami looked like an amazing champion (which he should be) while roman continued to be the best champion, great entrance from lentas too, i like that angle with roman on the side and a good pivot to his match against Bron Breaker, the natch was really good and I like that finish with penta kicking out of the spear showing that he got much better in the last months which is another great way to remind everyone that he is the mitb. This was followed by a tag match which I also really liked, it is weird having Chelsea here and is also weird to not have her win but instead be iyo, either way all 4 or them did good in my opinion. Now, the JD vs Joe Hendry wasn't bad, I think that it was a good match that broke the ice a little bit because it was a fun match, the problem is who is against Joe hebdry, from judgment day Roxanne and JD don't deserve to be in that group, they are good enough to be single wrestlers, so having jd in this kind of matchup feels underwhelming, good thing he got the win and i like that he uses a headbutt as a finisher I would say that "i hope that slowly judgment day stops one day" but that seems impossible after not handing the mitb to Roxanne. Is good to see Lola vice vs people from the main roster, this is a perfect example of why adding her was so good, since she is a striker, and there arent many females strikers, a lot of unique matchups are made, but I would have loved to see this a little bit more, shame that Lyra is still vs bayle, good match though. Finally, Chad gable vs dragon lee vs Rey mysterio, nothing more to say, I expected nothing more from this, this was a 10 out of 10 fight that deserves all the credit, the match was so good, that i don't even care about who won and the way that it ended, it wasn't with a finisher but rather with a counter roll up pinfall, I don't care that dragon should have won (because he should have won) AND all ego ethan page wants the title with big cass by his size. Perfect match. And about the whole show, I had an amazing time, I liked everything about it, roman came out tk the ring twice (thank god) and now he involved with 946"
[5.0] "An episode with only one notable match (the triple threat); everything else was fairly mediocre. The Bloodline continues to swallow up the main storylines, Solo rejoins the family in yet another nonsensical chapter of this saga--solely to take part in yet another wargames, always involving the same people. I don't understand how anyone can still be interested in the family dynamics of the Samoans. Enough already; do something new! Or is the great Roman Reigns incapable of being interesting when he's away from this family soap opera? Also, no explanation for Carmelo joyning the 946."
[8.0] "Well, second week in a row episodes of Raw was very good. Matches got enough time to shine and level of wrestling was pretty decent without bad matches. Storyline's part was worse, but the main things developed in a good way. Roman and Sami showed a cool segment with some fun at the start and raised tension at the end. And Bloodline vs 946 fight, that closed this Raw in a good way also looked solid because of Reigns, that grab the first point to samoans."
[2.0] "I don't understand how long this talentless Bloodline storyline can last. I'm absolutely annoyed by how it's presented and that people, for some reason, like watching this cringe. Solo Sikoa, who started showing himself from a great side, is now making peace with Reigns and the Usos again and raising the finger. God, I really hope this is only for one match at WarGames, otherwise it's a failure. WWE writers are the most talentless people in the world, but the viewers of this company still get some strange pleasure from what's happening."
[7.0] "Really enjoyed this episode, especially after last weeks terrible Smackdown, it was important for the WWE to deliver this show. Match of the Night belongs to the triple threat main event. Chad Gable is quite possibly the best wrestler in North America and for 3 weeks in a row has delivered the highest rated matches of the year. He has brought the "workhorse" monica back to the IC title.Segment of the Night belongs to the Bloodline / 946 showdown to close the show, good to see Roman finally "acknowledging" the 946 and it was a good brawl to end the show."
[9.0] "Excellent Raw again. Pretty much every Raw since Summerslam has hit. Was this a perfect show? No. I particularly didn't care for the JD McDonagh Joe Hendry storyline but aside from that I liked pretty much everything. The opening segment with Roman/Sami and the closing segment with Roman with the Bloodline standing up to 946 worked like a charm. Penta/Bron was solid. Looking forward to Lyra/Bayley next week. Chad Gable had another match of the year contender in that amazing Triple threat match. Solid, solid show."
[10.0] "This episode of Monday Night RAW was absolute top-tier professional wrestling television and a masterclass in how to build a major weekly broadcast--a legitimate 10/10 show that fired on every single cylinder. The show opened white-hot with a masterclass promo segment between Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns and World Heavyweight Champion Sami Zayn. The tension and psychological layers were phenomenal, with Zayn standing his ground, refusing to let the "OTC" diminish his title, and highlighting his evolution into a true main-event champion. On the in-ring front, the match card delivered in spades. Penta and Bron Breakker tore the house down in a hard-hitting opener, while the women's division delivered strong workrate with IYO SKY's brilliant Tag Team match and a physical, hard-hitting clash between Lyra Valkyria and Lola Vice. Even the entertainment beats held their own before the show completely took off in the final hour. That final hour was pure magic. Chad Gable defended his Intercontinental Championship in an absolute masterpiece of a Triple Threat match against Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix. The three-way chemistry, high-speed reversals, and frantic near-falls made it an instant TV Match of the Year contender. To cap it all off, the closing brawl between 946 and the Bloodline reached a fever pitch when Roman Reigns made his thunderous entrance to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with his family, setting up an explosive WarGames trajectory. From top-tier promos to MOTY-level wrestling and a legendary closing visual, this was a perfect episode of RAW. Rating: 10/10"
[7.0] "I think it'd be better if Sami would shut Roman's mouth by saying "You'll certainly still have your title since you wrestle once a month"(only 8 matches this year btw) or maybe "Lately your reign just hasn't been very usey" when the former said Sami might lose the title before Crown Jewel. Like you can go all the way with references, why not. Although they pretty much did that with Rollins this summer so ok ig"
[7.0] "Very generous 7 for a great main event and really good opening promo, thought everything else was varying degrees of pretty awful. The JD/Hendry match was absolutely atrocious, one of the worst things all year. The Lyra/Bayley stuff really sucks too, they've fumbled this new character for Lyra so badly. Their stip being No DQ after all the talk of a unique stip for the women's division was very underwhelming. First couple of matches were fine but nothing you'd go out of your way to watch. Closing angle was ok but while Roman coming out was a great moment the 946 fleeing was just a bit lame."
[6.0] "Apparently, it occurred to someone that, aside from the debate over where Crown Jewel will actually take place, the event also needs some buildup for a card that hasn't been clearly outlined yet. Reigns and Zayn will provide part of that, naturally with a clear division of roles favoring the OTC in the battle for title supremacy. Without any prior announcement, two performers who are currently being heavily pushed clash, with the one generating more hype--Penta--coming out on top. This is followed by a women's tag-team match that's decidedly mid-tier. Success in the form of wins has become as rare for Joe Hendry as a Christmas tree in July. And for Valkyria, too, in a way. The episode's final match features technically demanding and, at times, high-octane action. And Ethan Page's subsequent actions could really mean something if the guy would not lose what feels like an average of four out of five matches. It just looks like the attack of a paper tiger. In the end, the Bloodline joins forces with the OTC to stand up to 946. This adds some visual flair to the show. With the exception of the first 20 and the last 30 minutes, though, the rest isn't particularly worth watching. But those segments really pack a punch."
[8.0] "This RAW made me feel like we were back in the 2006-2016 period. It really felt like those more focused on wrestling but still with comedy and some great promos and feud with attacks and all, whilst have random bangers on some episodes of Raw and Smackdown. Very good episode of RAW, in sharp contrast with Smackdown."
[10.0] "What an amazing show. The opening segment between Reigns and Sami was brilliant, with it starting as a good time that built up to eventual animosity. Seeing the parallels between them and showcasing Sami's growth after becoming champion was done really well, and Zayn not letting him degrade the Undisputed Championship was also great. The matches between Penta/Bron, Lola/Lyra, and Gable/Lee/Mysterio were all amazing too. Then we get to the main event, the brawl between the Bloodline and 946, which ended with the OTC coming out to help the Bloodline and join the war. Really great sendoff and it was another example of why this Bloodline vs 946 rivalry is really great, and I can't wait for the War Games match between them."
[7.0] "A good episode of RAW that was carried more by the wrestling than by the storytelling. Penta against Breakker was solid, IYO SKY once again stood out in the women's tag, and Lola Vice against Lyra Valkyria was another good TV match, with the Hendry-JD segment dragged the show down badly. The clear highlight was the excellent Intercontinental Championship three-way, with Gable, Rey and Dragon Lee delivering at a completely different level. The closing brawl also worked well and finally gave Roman a more active role alongside his cousins. Not a great episode from top to bottom, but enough strong matches and progression to make it an enjoyable one."
"I really don't understand who the Funco Pop section is for. And by extension, why is the commentary putting down the competetor (even if they are a heel, it's not about the heel tactics, it's about the person)."
[4.0] "A show that started and ended well, but featured a very poorly booked midcard. Two solid wrestling matches--one at the beginning and one at the end--along with effective segments involving Reigns, weren't enough to make the show decent, given how weak the hour in the middle of the episode was. Match quality: 3/6.5. Angles and non-match segments: 1.25/3.5. Bonus/penalty: great atmosphere +0.25. Total: 4.5/10. Show watched on Netflix (FR)."
[7.0] "I'm having a hard time rating this show. Most of the matches were basic to atrocious. But the main event three way was outstanding. The opening promo with Sami and Roman was money, but almost every other backstage or promo segment was total buns. Really weird show man"
[9.0] "I haven't watched the show fully yet but my god the last 2 parts of the show were just amazing stuff. The triple threat was my tv match of the year and the bloodline 946 segment had people on the edge of their sits. Hope to see this grow into even better things"
[8.0] "An excellent episode of RAW. 3 great matches and one of the best of the year as the main event. The build to the men's Crown Jewel match + the Bloodline vs 946 also continues to progress interestingly and the only real lowlight, and it is a significant one, was that Hendry vs JD match/segment"
[6.0] "This was a fine show, but below last week. I'm not really invested in this Bloodline vs Thugline feud and most matches were just there. IC title match was great and you should go out of your way to see it"
[8.0] "A very good episode of RAW, very much focused on the matches. The opening segment was decent but nothing special. It was great that Zayn responded to Reigns' comment that the WHC title is THE title at the moment by saying that when Reigns held the WWE title, he used to say that was THE title and the WHC was the 'B' title. Reigns further emphasises his arrogance. The rest of the segment was nothing special, but not bad either. Penta/Breakker was good. The in-ring action was good, even if the pace was a bit slow. Penta dodging the spear (a cool spear, by the way) was surprising. IYO Green/JD was cool too. IYO, as usual, is a treat, both in terms of selling and in-ring action. Green wasn't bad. The finish was excellent, with IYO countering the suplex with a hurracarana. JD vs Hendry was very average. The bits involving the bloke with the big head were uninteresting. The in-ring action was very basic. Seeing Dom get hit by some random bloke with a big head is just mind-boggling. On the plus side: JD wins the match. Lyra vs Vice was good. Lyra was once again solid in the ring technically. Vice also delivered with her brawling style of wrestling, which works well. It makes sense that Lyra lost because of Bayley. Finally, finally, finally, the final chapter between Bayley and Lyra has been announced for next week. I can't wait. Rey vs Gable vs Lee was excellent. The in-ring action was excellent. The three-way combinations worked very well. Rey gives the impression he could wrestle for another five years with his sparkling form. The finish is interesting as it shows that Gable was in such trouble that he'd rather win in a way that isn't necessarily pretty. Page attacking Gable after the match is very good. Let's kick off this feud - it's one we're really looking forward to. The closing segment is very good. The brawl was really cool. It was great to see Roman finally lending a hand to his cousins. It was also great to see 946 struggling. Can't wait to see their new tactics."
