[8.0] "A great show overall, with barely any missteps aside from the big dud that was the women's 4-way. But on the other hand, we got Bandido vs. Soberano and Místico vs. Averno, so that more than makes up for it."
[6.0] "A fairly strong but inconsistent show that recovered well after a difficult opening stretch. The overall pacing improved considerably as the event progressed, with several high-quality performances providing plenty of energy and memorable action. Despite some significant dips, the card ultimately maintained enough quality and momentum to deliver a solid overall experience."
[7.0] "A CMLL anniversary show featuring La Sombra/Volador Jr and Místico/Averno in 2026 is like a fever dream. This was a decent show overall, with most matches being good, but nothing out of the water. Nostalgia factor was an important part of everything, at the cost of predictable structures and results in some matches. I don't think Místico main eventing was bad, but clearly wasn't the best call. Bandido/Soberano was the MOTN, Komander/Titán was really good and the three-way technical match was interesting in concept and execution."
[5.0] "I don't even know where to start with this one. I've always believed that a company's biggest event of the year shouldn't be judged like any other show. CMLL had everything it needed to put on a historic event, and instead, they let it slip away by sticking to what they know. It was the first time both world titles were on the line at an Aniversario EVER, in more than 30 years! There were several interesting Mano a Mano matches that were dissapointing, and Bárbaro Cavernario vs. Dragón Rojo Jr. had all the makings of a worthwhile rivalry, only for it to lead nowhere. As a Mexican who understands what this event is supposed to represent, I'm disappointed. It's frustrating to see foreign wrestlers having to show Mexican promoters how to properly present MEXICAN lucha libre. It's frustrating to see golden opportunities wasted by CMLL time and time again. And it's frustrating to see talented wrestlers lose momentum because the promotion is so obsessed with nostalgia. I'd like to see things change, but I don't think that's going to happen as long as this management remains so attached to the past. In-Ring, was this Aniversario better than, Triplemania, for example? Yes. But looking at the event as a whole--its stories, buildup, and card--it was a major disappointment. And by the way, how do you disqualify a Cuadrangular?"
[7.0] "CMLL excels at a unique kind of atmosphere and spectacle, and it does so again here. However, compared to the best periods of their recent history, this year's Aniversario is a slight disappointment. The card was massively overloaded, resulting in rushed decent matches (Titan vs Komander) or ones that never deserved to be there (JJ vs Blue Panther and the women's trios). Even the main event was predictable, though still a good professional performance. Soberano vs Bandido and Andrade vs Volador are definitely worth seeking out."
[7.0] "This was ultimately decent. The entire main event, the three way and the Andrade matches were my personal favorites. I thought the Bandido match was also good but not amazing. Kommander vs Titan was fine too but the three opening matches and the women didn't really deliver or interest me."
[9.0] "Fue un evento increíble! La emoción y gritos del público durante todo el show fue algo asombroso! Las luchas de la noche fueron las de Bandido vs Soberano Jr. y Místico vs Averno!"
[9.0] "Overall I had a great time watching this match, even with one or two of the matches could have had a bit more time, none of the matches were a DUD for me personally. Ema Maishima, Maika & Mei Seira vs Candela, Kira & Sanely: A fine match to get the show started, felt a bit rushed though due to only going like 8 minutes, could have benefited from more time, the STARDOM trio getting the win was good to see though, a few moments of decent in ring action [**1/2]. Blue Panther vs Jeff Jarrett: Two veterans going at it for just under 10 minutes, the match was what it needed to be and that was get Panther on the show and introduce Jarrett into CMLL [**1/2]. Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja vs El Hijo del Villano III & Villano III Jr vs Mascara Dorada & Neon vs Calavera Jr I & Calavera Jr II: Decent enough match featuring these four teams within the time they had, could have had more time given who was involved in this one, the champions Oro and Roja retaining was good to see even if the odds were stacked against them [**3/4]. Titan vs Komander: These two had another good match with their previous one coming back in January 2026, while it was good could have gone longer as it felt like they did not show everything they could have done [***1/2]. Soberano Jr vs Bandido: Two guys who clearly have hatred towards one another fighting in what was a good match that had a hatred dynamic which made it a compelling matchup with a surprise outcome of Soberano defeating the ROH World Champion Bandido in this non title match [***3/4]. Persephone vs Mina Shirakawa vs Starlight Kid vs Tessa Blanchard: A fine match with SLK and Shirakawa being the positives in this one, Blanchard and Persephone were only fine and the ending was not that interesting with the DQ finish and could have put the title on either SLK or Shirakawa [**1/2]. Andrade El Idolo vs Volador Jr: These two have a long history and it showed here with a competitive match throughout, both had a great match, Andrade winning was great to see even if Volador could have won in what was a potential MOTN, this is what lucha libre is about [****3/4]. Hechicero vs Claudio Castagnoli vs Zack Sabre Jr: Some nice technical work on display here from ZSJ and Hechicero, Castagnoli was decent in this what was a decent delivered match [***3/4]. Averno & Mistico vs Barbaro Cavernario & Dragon Rojo Jr vs Templario & Ultimo Guerrero vs Star Jr & Zandokan Jr: A solid way to build to the main event following this match, all four pairings did what they needed to do and Averno & Mistico winning to advance to a mask vs hair match to close out the show was decent to see them advance [***3/4]. Mistico vs Averno: A great match to close out the show, Mistico did have an injury scare which I am glad he was able to carry on the match when he hit a dive out the ring and collided with the ringside floor, Mistico winning was the right choice here, they had a great display here [****3/4]"
[7.0] "For a regular CMLL watcher this show probably wasn't for me, because aside from the main event and the Andrade match, it feels like everything was short changed on time and was blighted by multi-man stips and frantic pacing. That said, the atmosphere was incredible, there was lots of great, albeit rushed wrestling, and the pageantry was superb. I came away from 80% of the card thinking, "damn this would have been better on a regular Friday or Saturday night" or "I wish this were a straight singles/tag match". That said the main event was excellent and the pageantry was charming as ever."
[9.0] "Absolutely incredible show. Nothing but good to great matches, and I was NEVER bored. There's still this feeling that it could've been even better, though with more 2-out-of-3 falls matches, longer matches that weren't as rushed, and some names who weren't on the card but could've and probably should've been there. But honestly, thank you CMLL. This is my second Anniversary show, and so far it's been a perfect track record. I've been following the company since last year, and I've rarely had this much fun watching a wrestling promotion. Thank you for putting on shows this damn good."
[9.0] "It was a very good show overall, it had a good structure and most of the matches were very good. To me the minuses were the way the Women's championship match ended snd the lack of blood in the main event match. Also a couple of matches could have been longer, maybe they should have cut one of the marches from the card."
