[5.0] "NXT démarre plutôt bien cette semaine avec la nouvelle NXT Womens Champion Kendal Grey. Je suis content de la voir avec le titre et je trouve qu'elle mérite cette mise en avant, même s'il reste encore du travail, notamment au micro. Elle est excellente sur le ring, mais elle doit maintenant progresser sur cet aspect pour véritablement s'imposer comme la figure centrale de la division. Après quelques segments en backstage, on enchaîne avec un bon match par équipes entre The Vanity Project et El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. associé à Galeno, tous les deux venus de la AAA. Et franchement, je trouve que les deux luchadors fonctionnent plutôt bien ensemble. Il y a une vraie complémentarité et je ne serais pas contre les revoir régulièrement en équipe. Cela ne suffit cependant pas pour battre The Vanity Project, et c'est très bien comme ça. Je trouve qu'ils font de bons champions et cette victoire permet de consolider un peu plus leur règne. On sait maintenant qu'ils auront de nouveaux challengers dès la semaine prochaine et j'espère vraiment voir Birth Right obtenir cette opportunité. J'y crois assez peu puisque les deux équipes sont heels, mais c'est clairement l'affiche que j'aimerais voir. The Vanity Project reste ensuite sur le ring puisque Jackson Drake doit affronter Mason Rook. Et là, aucun doute : c'est clairement mon match de la soirée. Je suis surtout très content de voir Drake décrocher la victoire. Je ne m'attendais absolument pas à le voir battre Rook et c'est justement ce qui rend le résultat encore plus satisfaisant. Une vraie bonne surprise. Malheureusement, après cet excellent début, l'épisode retombe progressivement dans les travers habituels de NXT. Trop de contenu, trop de segments et beaucoup de choses qui ne m'intéressent pas vraiment. Le show donne encore cette impression de vouloir absolument caser tout le monde et toutes les histoires dans un seul épisode, au risque de perdre en lisibilité et en rythme. Et ce sentiment se poursuit jusqu'au Main Event avec les débuts assez ratés de Reina Volcan. Pour une première apparition censée installer un nouveau personnage, je n'ai pas été convaincu. Il faudra évidemment lui laisser du temps, mais cette première impression n'est clairement pas la meilleure. Au final, c'est un épisode en deux temps. La première partie est vraiment solide, mais ensuite, NXT redevient malheureusement le NXT qui me fatigue depuis quelque temps."

[7.0] "A solid episode that continued to highlight NXT's promising new generation. Jackson Drake versus. Mason Rook and Nikki Blackheart's impactful debut were the standout moments, while the show further established several talents who could become major players over the next few years. The rebuilding process is clearly working, and the band's future looks increasingly exciting."

[7.0] "Vanity Project put on a great show yesterday, delivering two fantastic matches against the Wagners and Mason Rook back-to-back. They may not have deserved to win, but their in-ring performance was excellent. Kendal Grey's title celebration was rather disappointing; he needs to work on his mic skills, but he'll get there eventually. There are definitely teams that could revitalize the NXT tag team division, and there's a lot of work to be done. Keanu Carver is starting to bore me, not through any fault of his own, but he seems to be drifting when he could be a mainstay of NXT. Another thing I dislike is the omission of AAA's narrative in NXT; it's as if what happens there doesn't exist. However, I like Natalya's new role in NXT, and Kelani and Tatum Paxley did a good job."

[7.0] "It was the classic strong post PLE episode of NXT: solid matches, immediate storyline progression setting up the next PLE and a couple of debuts sprinkled in. The only thing I'm a bit unsure about is how they're going to handle Tatum and Kelani. In my opinion, both of them feel ready for the main roster and I'm not sure what else there is for them to do in NXT at this point"

[7.0] "A very decent episode of NXT. I did enjoy Jackson Drake and Mason Rook, as this is one of the strong points from this episode; same with Nikki Blackheart's arrival to NXT, as she attacked Tatum Paxley to make her statement. But NXT is doing fine in my opinion this year, as I feel like they have been positioning the newer NXT Talent well, and we know who is going to be a big deal in NXT for the next one to two years now as they needed this rebuilding, as we see a lot of talents rising, and creating their names here so the future is exicitng, and this episode showed that."

[7.0] "Absolutlely good episode, where there was the only one not intresting match, but other four got enough time to shine. Kendal Grey's promo at the opening wasn't a great, but felt really natural and personal, what is cool. I like so much that almost every division, except Speeds, got their time and only Myles Borne don't. This show ended by a new superstar's debut and it will be an intresting what she can do."

[4.0] "There were no bad matches, but something was always missing to make them truly good--usually build-up, though perhaps a bit more time was needed as well. The segments were fairly basic and didn't really kick off anything interesting. Nikki Blackheart's debut was impactful, but since I wasn't familiar with her, it didn't elicit a reaction from me. Finally, Grey's promo was quite surprising; still, why not play the "straight shooter" card for once? It shouldn't be overdone, but it didn't bother me. Match quality: 3.25/6.5. Non-match angles and segments: 1/3.5. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.25/10. Watched on Netflix (FR)."

[8.0] "Pretty good post-PPV show, we are already building the future matches for every title here, we got another GREAT showcase for all the women here, good crossover tag match and a pretty good match between Jackson and Mason"

[9.0] "I'd say it was a really good episode of NXT and I'm very interested to see the next week's episode even though it being taped for the next week it's been a while since they had a tape episode soshould be all right, but I thought the action was really good. Everybody was on top of the game and everyone was able to just go out there and showcase the best of their abilities and they went am proceeded to put on a good show."

[7.0] "***1/2 I enjoyed the wrestling on this episode very much but I feel the storylines weren't really advancing"

[6.0] "Solid show coming out of Great American Bash. Enjoyed Kendal's first appearance following her title win. Consistent wrestling throughout with Jackson Drake/Mason Rook my match of the night. Unfortunate that Vikingo could not wrestle here. NXT continues to flow well week to week."

"The men's matches were good but the main event sucked. I hated this booking when they teased it at the end of The Great American Bash and it turns out I was right to feel that way. The match was meant to showcase Kelani but she looked awful. She botched multiple spots, especially during the conclusion, and did not recover well. The match really suffers badly when compared with the bangers Tatum and Zaria put on. Even worse, the crowd's reception was disturbingly muted during the match, which produced no "This is awesome! " moments because it, indeed, was not awesome. And I was shocked that the crowd did not pop for Kelani AT ALL during her entrance. In the end, the crowd responded with dispirited thumbs down signs. They didn't like that Kelani won but could hardly bring themselves to care. The thumbs down is the final verdict on this stupid booking. I don't understand why they have Tatum jobbing for a wrestler who does not possess half of her charisma."

"[7.0] NXT continues to be the only show that on WWE that can consistently deliver entertaining weekly shows. All the matches were solid throughout and they did a great job at continuing to build storylines. They also continue to expand to their roster, which is good because there roster isn't in the greatest condition currently."
