[5.0] "MLW baby! The lost media has been found and it turns out that outside of Austin Aries, there is still not much at all to this roster of odds and ends."
[7.0] "Fun show for MLW. They really fill a niche for me of just solid, basic wrestling with decent values and logical booking. Happy that they are back. 7/10"
[8.0] "With MLW what you see is what you get. I love all the talent they've been acquiring. This really leads to some hella fun booking. It's been too long and I can't wait for more."
[6.0] "This was the return of Fusion for MLW which seemed to be two episodes that were than edited into one special with little done to make that not stand out. Some effective showcasing of some of the members of the roster. Austin Aries/Trevor Lee was a very enjoyable match and the best MLW match this year so far. The opener between Shotzi and Priscilla was a pretty enjoyable sprint as well. Some matches I did have a bit more expectation for but nothing bad."
[6.0] "I think this will be easier to consume in one hour blocks. But the show was fine, as expected with acts like the Good Brothers that are good hands but not amazing. I will be checking this out in the future."
[6.0] "I don't know what I was expecting, but I guess I was expecting something better than what MLW usually delivers. MLW is constantly fine, and sometimes frustratingly so! At first glance, they have all the tools required to reach that next level as a company and that coveted TV deal - which they've been chasing for close to a decade! However, for whatever reason, they seem stubborn to stay on the same level, despite numerous changes in the roster, in the commentary team, in the programs or in their partners. After several months of relative anticipation, they debuted what should be the next phase of their company with a revival of their flagship program. Perhaps unfortunately, the result is the same as just before: some good matches, some okay segments and plenty of simple technical issues that really shouldn't be an issue anymore after nearly a decade of running a taped TV show. The special also reeked of sloppiness, with it basically being two Fusion episodes played back-to-back, instead of a fully edited special. The actual episode was fine, but after several months of waiting, I wished that it was more than that. In general, I wish MLW was more than what it is: more than just okay."
[5.0] "I'm glad the two hour format is only for the debut episode because I think one hour will make these shows a lot easier to digest. Trevor Lee and Austin Aries have an awesome match as the first main event (this show was two taped episodes literally just slapped together, like there were matches on the second hour that were being promoted for next week during the first). None of the other matches really did anything for me, but the story building for future events did help. I do recommend watching future shows as those will likely be easier to watch on a weekly format"
