[7.0] "The Undertaker is even capable of bringing out the best in repetitive and adverse conditions. The GM announcement didn't feel that exciting; I like that it's Rey Mysterio, and there's a lot of potential in that, but it didn't feel that significant at the time. Laredo Kid and Rey Fénix have faced each other about 30 times in their careers, and they always bring something new to the table, although I didn't enjoy this match as much as the previous one. The tag team match was incredible, intense, dramatic, and very colorful. AAA has given space to two great teams that are very underrated on the main roster, and they really deserve it. This episode of AAA left me wanting more, but what happened next was a masterclass in booking. When they do whatever they want with a narrative you've established elsewhere, you can't remain indifferent. El Chaparro takes off his jacket and reveals what might be the best T-shirt in the WWE store, LOL. The Great American obviously has to respond to the insult, and all hell breaks loose. Now this is a real fight, for God's sake. This is how you justify breaking the no-fighting rule, unlike what happens on RAW. If it were up to me, this rivalry would stay only in AAA."

"This was a wonderful, the feud of Grande Americano and "Chaparro" Americano is spectacular and it seems that they're completely ready for Noche de los Grandes PPV. The match of Laredo Kid and Rey Fenix was okay but had a decent ending with the dirtiest way to retain a championship. Also the main event was a banger, with Bravo and Rayo facing Bruto and Julio in a No DQ match + the brawl of Los Americanos at the end of the event, I've never seen a feud that personal. My rating 9/10."

[8.0] "really good go-home episode of AAA leading up to noche de los grandes. Laredo and Fenix put on a match that is pretty standard for them, which is to say good (if short), but does a very good job of building up to what will probably be their blowoff match next week. Los Americanos and the Creeds proceed to put on a really, Really good match, in my opinion (worst i can say is it maybe slightly bordered on clunky in some moments but it's hard to care in the actual moment and they fell in with each other very well by the end), which led up to ANOTHER crazy brawl between the Americanos, who are somehow the best unsanctioned brawlers in the business right now...? it's crazy how much of an actual blood feud that this has become and this is a great spot to put a pin in it before their mask vs mask match. only downsides to this episode: i wish the first match was a BIT longer, and the Rey Mysterio becoming GM stuff is fun but his commentary replacement in Savio Vega is... not good. really hurt the quality of the show if you were listening to english commentary - he was nervous on commentary and really bad at live translation."

[5.0] "Show opened with a long talking segment revealing Rey Mysterio as the new GM; meh. Laredo Kid vs Fenix was a pretty good match with a dumb finish. Backstage, Mysterio wasn't happy with the way Laredo Kid won, so booked a rematch for next week. The tag match had some good stuff, but went too long and was a neutered version of a no DQ match, certainly a far cry from the bloody brawls of the old AAA. The match ended in a no contest when Gable Americano showed up to take out the stooges, prompting Barthel Americano to run out. After teasing breaking the no contact rule, Gable went to leave, but Barthel cut a promo mentioning 'Shorty G' which prompted Gable to return to the ring and reveal he was wearing a t-shirt bearing the face of Barthel's fired announcer girlfriend. Barthel started shaking and pulling a stupid face before attempting to attack Gable, but was restrained by his stooges, while Gable's stooges did the same. Despite the stooges attempts, they eventually went at it, thus breaking the match contract. GM Mysterio showed his metal, by telling them...the match would happen anyway. They continued to go at it as the locker room emptied and Mysterio stood around meekly saying "hey" as his first show in charge ended in chaos. I started watching AAA again when they signed Catalina, so in that respect I continue to be disappointed, because since her big debut six weeks ago, she's had one match and a 30 second backstage segment, now, her trios match that was scheduled for next week's Noche de los Grandes show has been pushed back a week as well; will she and/or Flammer even get a backstage segment next week? I doubt it. Outside of the glaring lack of the women's division, the show was decent enough, with the highlight being the Gable/Barthel Americanos stuff, although it wasn't nearly as good as some of their previous interactions/brawls."

[10.0] "Another great episode of AAA, I really enjoyed both matches on the show, and seeing Rey Mysterio become the new General Manager of AAA, which was a very smart choice. AAA has easily been one of the entertaining shows on the WWE Company. Can't wait for the Mask vs. Mask Match next week, the pay-off happens with Chad Gable being exposed next week."

[9.0] "What an episode of AAA on Fox, the opening segment was well delivered as Rey Mysterio was named the AAA General Manager was great to see, the closing segment was worked really well with OG Americano and Americano V2. Laredo Kid (c) vs Rey Fenix: Nearly 9 minutes of great lucha libre action with both having good chemistry and Kid retaining was okay but wish Fenix would take the title off him [***]. Bravo Americano & Rayo Americano vs Bruto Creedo & Julio Creedo: What a match! This feud has been great and this match cpuld easily be considered MOTY for AAA, these four have been so under used prior to this feud ans this match alone shows what they can do, wish there was a winning team but both OG and V2 Americano getting involved from a storyline perspective made sense [*****]"

[9.0] "Another solid AAA weekly show with two good matches and segments. The product continues to feel vibrant, and that's encouraging. I'm looking forward to seeing Rey Fenix and El Grande Americano triumph in the coming weeks."

"AAA exceeds so well in blending modern style wrestling with a level of psychology that is growing week by week. The Mexico City crowd is phenomenal and makes every moment feel special. Los Americanos vs Los Americanos Hermanos was a street fight which made sense due to the heated rivalry of the Americanos. The character work is fantastic from both teams and the crowd build up really really well during the match. As street fights go you won't get much better as everything that was dished out by the competitors was crisp and had meaning during the course of the match. It all comes down to hard action from determined wrestlers trying to prove a point and it shows. Undertaker guiding these men you can tell there is psychology and logic behind every move and it's working. You see this when the original El grande Americano comes out and there is huge heat. This is here when we get an iconic moment the original El grand Americano does not pull pull his punches and then El grande Americano comes out and it's just iconic you see a star down where they don't want to touch each other because the match could be cancelled and it all comes to blows and it is just magic pure haymakers being thrown both sides you have to watch it Noo description can explain it. It is a joy to watch modern wrestling that makes me suspend disbelief and right now AAA is doing that week after week bravo!"

[9.0] "I mean, what can I say, once again this hour of AAA was the best wrestling WWE has done this week, everything hit the right places, a huge announcement with Rey Mysterio as the new GM, a pretty damn good Cruiserweight match and incredible main event with an even greater post-match angle"
