[8.0] "This was a well-constructed, emotionally varied live episode that peaked with the Pagano/Psycho Clown segment -- one of the best pure storytelling moments in the promotion's recent TV history. La Catalina's debut delivered. The triple threat entertained. The absence of the Americano angle is the one meaningful gap. Post-Backlash placement was bold; the show earned the lead-in."
[7.0] "AAA continues to deliver great matches and captivating storylines, even with the absence of the Great Americans and the notable absence of Dominik Mysterio (it's about time he defended the Mega Championship). We kicked things off with a good, frenetic triple threat match where Lince Dorado emerged victorious once again, followed by La Catalina's AAA debut, where Jessy Jackson made sure she made a strong impression. Then, Lola Vice and Bayley added even more class to their first main event match. The final segment between Pagano and Psycho Clown was excellent, suggesting that appearances can be deceiving and that Psycho Clown is the one with the most to hide. AAA continues its winning streak and is becoming a standout product for international audiences."
[9.0] "Super AAA show. I love watching AAA often since WWE got involved with them, and I love the amazing talent. La Catalina had a great match against Jessie Jackson. Good match: Deltoro vs. Dorado vs. Octogan"
[5.0] "Opening match was standard fare, with my main takeaway being that I don't know when Del Toro got rid of his facial hair, grew out his hair and started wearing cheap looking pants, but he needs to go back to his Legado del Fantasma look, because he looked like an indy jobber here. Backstage, Chessman arrived for an interview for the vacant GM position, much to the chagrin of Dorian Roldan. Next, there was finally a follow up to Catalina's debut after three weeks of nothing but one useless vignette and not a peep from Flammer. Cata took on Jessy Jackson in a good match while Flammer was on commentary. After the match, Flammer distracted Cata as Hiedra and Maravilla attacked her from behind. Las Toxicas continued the beatdown until Lola Vice ran in, only for her to be overpowered also, prompting Bayley, who just happened to be hanging around backstage in Mexico, to spring in to action, making a much more successful run in, both in and out of kayfabe; hopefully there's not another three week break before continuing this feud. After a recap of the Americanos contract signing, the main event was a long talking segment between Psycho Clown and Pagano that I could not possibly have cared less about because Pagano absolutely sucks. Overall, the women did a major carry job on what was otherwise a poor episode, though at only 50 minutes, minus breaks, it wasn't too egregious."
[7.0] "It was the middle show of the last taping but I think they did a good job with setting some interesting stuff for future shows, like the Pagano and Psycho segment was a little Rosa de Guadalupe I think their rematch with the War Raiders is going to be great, and Chessman probably being the GM would be hilarious and Las Toxicas vs Bayley, La Catalina and Lola Vice sounds pretty fun"
