[9.0] "What a pleasure this show was, likely the best Saturday Night's Main Event of all time. Cody/Fatu didn't actually start but we still got to see them battle and this way they don't have to ruin it with a schmoz ending or have either guy lose. There'll be more to come from this feud. The women's tag match was very good - a testament to the strength of that division right now. Styles/Nakamura was an absolute delight - their best WWE match with both men nearing 50 and the end of their careers. The main event delivered in front of a super hot crowd. All four competitors felt like stars - super entrances for all four. Sami picked up the win in front of his hometown crowd. Onto Riyadh."
[8.0] "A very good showing for in-ring action. Styles vs Nakamura was the major highlight; easily the best match they've had since NJPW, fitting for their last go-'round. The women's tag and the contendership four-way main event were also good, and while it never became an actual match, the Cody vs Fatu brawl was entertaining. One of the more roundly-good WWE showings in recent months."
[8.0] "This was most likely the best SNME they have ever done since its return. I thought the opening angle with Cody & Jacob was well done & im curious too see where things go. The women's tag match was very fun & they got me with the fake out with Raquel & the ref spot. AJ & Nakamura was sensational & truly a love letter to wrestling, I really wish this was the match we got at WrestleMania a few years ago. AJ & Nakamura put in a clinic. The main event 4 way was fun as well"
[8.0] "Overall solid show, no match was below good. The Cody/Jacob match could have just been a no DQ/Street Fight match and just have them do the same thing but no biggie, I can understand why they may not want defining a winner for this feud yet. The tag title match was great, AJ and Nakamura showed out for a couple of dudes on their way out. The four way was good even the winner could be seen from a mile away. ****"
[9.0] "The show flowed perfectly: great variety, strong pacing, no filler, and every segment felt purposeful. Consistent quality from start to finish, with real highs and zero boredom. Exactly the kind of event that proves how special this format can be when it's taken seriously."
[6.0] "The opening brawl between Cody/Fatu was a decent angle, although it ran a bit long for me. The brawl itself was a bit sloppy at times, especially on the Fatu pop-up moonsault to ringside (although I acknowledge the particular slippery nature of the WWE ring ropes), and the Rhodes suicide dive to ringside, which looked a bit slow/short for my tastes. Rhodes, in general, looked like he was working through a right leg injury. The ending with Drew was solid, though, and it was nice to see him as champion, standing tall (would be a 5). The Tag Title match was mostly excellent, with Liv/IYO's opening sequence being of particular note. Perez was strong throughout her minutes in-ring, and Ripley was solid in hers as well. The ref-bump + Raquel/Vaquer interference was well-executed. My one complaint is about the finish post-interference, as I felt the time was right for the titles to change hands. I disliked Morgan being the pin-eater as well. I understand the potential challenges of Morgan holding these titles going into the Rumble, given her likelihood to win and chase Vaquer, but that could have been worked out later. The match was an otherwise great match held back by a soft finish (6). Styles vs. Nakamura was the best match of the show, with Nakamura's work being of particular note, especially in the first two-thirds of the match. The story going in of Styles starting slow until Nakamura expresses his displeasure was a great angle. Everything up to the calf crusher was stellar work. After the calf crusher, the match pacing slowed, and the conventional yay-boo/double-down/nearfall repetition caused me to lose some interest leading up to the finish. I felt the finish should have been another calf crusher, so a pinfall finish was disappointing for me (7). The main event 4-way was disappointing throughout. The match was a pretty average match, except for Trick Williams' complete unreadiness to be near a main event right now. Trick lacked physicality, his crowd work was poorly timed, and his overselling created problems for the other wrestlers (particularly Orton) trying to get him through the match. Priest was fine, not exciting, but competent and didn't make any mistakes. Orton/Zayn were highlights of the match; Orton was his usual solid self, understanding his role very well. Zayn made for a great hometown hero, and his work was fairly compelling, and he had flashes of energetic/exciting offense. The match flowed pretty decently and was a good length for a 4-way, except for moments that required Williams to be on-point, which weren't great and pretty wasteful (4). Overall, as a show, this SNME was pretty decent, one of the better SNME's in this current iteration. Match sequencing was great, and the show flowed very nicely, aside from the final few minutes in Styles/Nakamura and the opening brawl. Presentation was great, and finally, we have a SNME without broadcast issues. My only complaint is that Stephanie McMahon is not charismatic enough to start a show on commentary. The booking itself was 50/50, the angles within the matches were pretty great, but the finishes within the tag match & Styles/Nakamura left some things unfulfilled. The actual wrestling was mostly great except for Williams + Rhodes/Fatu. Overall show rating: 6."
[8.0] "Honestly, my expectations weren't anywhere close to what we got on this night, but it was a great show. I like that non match brawl, it ran long, but it was a great set up for a card that delivered above expectations. Solid matches, AJ & Nakamura for sure match of the night, the women's tag match was also solid and a good main event."
[8.0] "Finally, a SNME without utter nonsense! WWE in January 2026 seems to have found a sense of purpose again, and I'm much happier to see it. My only complaint is that the Drew/Cody/Jacob feud really isn't to my tastes, but even that brawl wasn't too bad."
[9.0] "An extremely enjoyable show from start to finish, with the only possible disappointment being the absence of Cody vs Jacob. Aside from that, a strong opener, a genuinely emotional second match, and a dynamic, hard-fought main event where all four competitors shined. Please give us more shows like this"
[8.0] "I honestly have 0 complaints. The match quality was exceptional. It is very unusual for a WWE event to have every single match be above average, but they were all great to amazing. The story sections all made sense, I really have nothing to complain about"
[9.0] "A very good show, a rare well produced SNME. Fatu Rhodes opened up the show brilliantly, neither could afford a loss, and any DQ finish would've been cheap. The Drew interference was excellent here. The tag title match was also very good, ultimately any match where Rhea and Iyo are tagging will be a good match, those two are very good together. Style Nakamura was great, they honestly could've gone another 5-10 minutes and you wouldn't get any complaints out of me, the best Nakamura match in years. The fatal four way was good but the worst match on the card. The correct winner won setting up an unpredictable world title match in Saudi Arabia. 8.5/10 show, good stuff"
[8.0] "It was an enjoyable show, despite it being pretty irrelevant. Cody and Jacob's brawl was good, despite it not being a match, and the other 3 matches were solid."
[9.0] "From the very beginning, the brawl between Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu lit a fire in the venue as it continued for over 20 minutes with security guards being thrown around like salami, trash cans, tables everything else being used. Something they did incredibly well is protect both Cody and Jacob's aura and not let anybody take the pin and lose, something already predictable but the brawl and the way it was executed in particular was unexpected. The crowd loved it, and Drew McIntyre's arrival at the end to flatten both out and stand as the dominant champ was the signal that they're going for a Triple Threat for the Undisputed WWE Champion, don't know where. Rhiyo and the Judgement Day had a great match and sadly titles didn't change hands as Vaquer returned to take out a sly Rodriguez. AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura had an obvious banger for the ages for the last time presumably as the main event was exactly what it was supposed to be and some more. Drew coming out at the end and getting thrown off by a guy half his size was kind of lame and unneeded though. But this was the best SNME after the latter's revival."
"Last week I said that I don't think that WWE was going to let AJ Styles go so early into 2026, but on second thought -- why not? For some reason, we collectively decided that "2026 is my last year" means "the entirety of 2026", but why? The timing lines up perfectly with AJ Styles' debut in January 2016 -- exactly 10 years have passed almost to the day. It's not like they can make another "retirement tour" second year in a row, so why bother with another one-year deal and not just finish it at this Royal Rumble, solidifying Gunther's status of a career-ending machine. The fact they went out of their way to give us one more (last? ) AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura match only added weight to my arguments and, personally, convinced me in their soundness."
[9.0] "I'm actually shocked. Not only was this show actually good, but it exceeded expectations by a mile. At first, I wasn't too keen on Cody vs Jacob not happening but the brawl was super good. Drew looked excellent here. The women were great as usual. AJ vs Shinsuke was a MOTYC which is crazy considering it's on SNME lmao. Fatal 4 way was a fun one with the right winner. Overall, this will go down as one of the best produced WWE shows of the year."
[8.0] "This was genuinely very good. Not a fan of not actually delivering a match they advertised and I thought the main was pretty underwhelming but still one of the best shows they've done in ages. Definitely Nakamura's best match in a very long time. Held back from being a better rating for yet again being so light on matches with only 3 on the card taking place."
[7.0] "Actually, a good PLE/special for once in recent WWE, all 3 matches were really solid. The opening brawl was a pretty good way to have no one get pinned, the tag match was really good, I actually enjoyed the interference spot for once - think it worked really well. AJ Nakamura was a really nice retirement tour match for styles and made up for the lackluster WM34 bout, and the main event was real fun, with the right winner in Sami. Good stuff."
[9.0] "The best SNME episode since the reboot, two solid matches and a MOTYC, Cody Rhodes vs Jacob Fatu never got officially started but the brawl was intense and worked well. IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez: This is an example of how strong the women's tag division is currently, Stephanie Vaquer coming out to take Raquel Rodriguez away from ringside made storyline sense as they have been feuding, the match was delivered as strongly as it needed to be and the outcome was the right one [***3/4]. AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura: Giving off WK vibes from 10 years ago, their best match against each other in WWE, if this is their last time facing off they went out in a blaze, great match with no criticisms [*****]. Sami Zayn vs Damian Priest vs Randy Orton vs Trick Williams: A solid match to determine who will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Title at Royal Rumble, all four put a decent showing in and Zayn winning was the right choice and an interesting decision [****]."
[8.0] "Another step up from WWE in regards to SNME after a much improved outing at #42. They should all feel like this and not some jumped up Raw. All 3 matches delivered but disappointed there were only 3 - Feels like we are getting fewer and fewer on marque shows from WWE."
[10.0] "The best show WWE has put out in a long time. Even the match that never started turned into an awesome brawl. The crowd was crazy into all matches and you could feel all of it. Long time since I had so much fun with WWE, and I generally enjoy it."
[6.0] "Cody/Jacob not actually starting really dragged this down for me. Otherwise, this is probably a 9/10 show. I don't care how good the brawl was (which it definitely was - one of the best brawls in a while), you could've just gotten in the ring and started the darn match and then done that. Plus, Drew getting involved telegraphs the Mania plans for the WWE Title going forward, something I was hoping they would stop doing now that Cody wasn't champ anymore. Rhiyo/Judgment Day was good aside from the botched pin breakup by Rhea, although that in itself was saved by Iyo's awareness to kick out on-the-fly and the ref ever so slightly slowing his count (tbh I barely noticed the slowed count on the live broadcast; good job ref). Also, Raquel breaking up an earlier pin by literally pulling Rhea down on top of the ref is one of the most unique things I've seen in a wrestling match, and I am so glad to see La Primera back at 100%. Go kick Raquel's ass, Stephanie! Styles/Shin was the perfect redemption of that awful 2018 Mania match and arguably the best showcase of men's Japanese strong-style ever on the main WWE roster. Literally the only gripe I have with it is that AJ took a bit long to set up his Styles Clashes thanks to Shin's arms not letting AJ's legs get around them, but that doesn't really take anything from how good the rest of it was. The counters specifically were unbelievable in that match! Lastly, the main event was quite good too, and I'm glad that almost everyone was involved at all times. Trick was incredibly crafty and smart with his attack timing, Damian did typical big man things, Randy reminded us that we need him around way more than he is, and Sami actually felt like an underdog for once due to the size difference between him and the rest of the field. Love the finish too with Damian knocking Trick off only to turn right into one of Sami's patented from-nowhere Helluvas and Randy being barely too late to break it up. Kind of wish Sami was in the Rumble instead but this is fine too. Women's Tag 8.5/10, main event 8.5/10, AJ vs Shin 10/10, opening brawl 4/10 (I loved it for what it was but hated it for what it wasn't, which I seem to feel a lot when it comes to WWE lately)."
[8.0] "I'm surprised, but this show was so great. Card was intresting, but after return SNME it's a show that you can skip, and I not expected high level. Brawl between Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu starts this event with a fire and every match was a PLE level thing with a banger between Styles and Nakamura, that we will remember for a long time. Good job, WWE."
[7.0] "Decent show that is HEAVILY carried by that Styles vs. Nakamura match. Sami Zayn's hometown crowd entrance and performance is also worth seeing, but the ending of the show was derailed by what I can only assume was improperly budgeted time, similar to the Goldberg retirement incident. MVP of the show goes to Shinsuke Nakamura, who put in one of his best performances in YEARS for one last outing with AJ Styles."
[4.0] "There was nothing on this show that was actively bad, but these SNME shows just lack a since of importance. You had a false advertised first match that didn't happen and a 2nd match filled with interreference. That just leaves 2 matches and while they both were decent enough to me 2 decentish matches are not enough to warrant a "thumbs up" show, even on a SNME level show."
[9.0] "Probably the best SNME show I've seen in the entire series. Three good matches, a brawl with an ongoing plot, and probably Styles' last match in America. Everything was great and flowed smoothly. It seems the bookers have finally heard the fans' criticism and are starting to put on good shows."
[7.0] "The advertised Cody vs Fatu match didn't happen which is lame, instead we got a big brawl with them fighting all over the arena that ends with Drew standing tall after he attacked them both. It's a shame that WWE is too afraid to actually have one of their top guys lose to another top guy, as if it would hurt them at all. It was a fine angle, went on too long, but I would have preferred an actual match instead. IYO/Rhea vs Liv/Roxanne for the women's tag team title was good. Enjoyable wrestling, incorporating Raquel and Vaquer made sense, the right team won with RHIYO retaining (7.5/10). Styles vs Nakamura was great. The last time they're going to face each other, both guys showed how much that means to them. Nakamura turned back the clock to have his best individual performance in a long time, and even with Styles on the verge of retirement continues to show why he's still one of the best in the world. It's the best match they've had together in WWE (9/10). The main event four way to determine Drew's next challenger had plenty of good wrestling, but this fell hard into the trope of there only being two guys in the ring fighting while the other two sit around outside waiting for their turn. Sami predictably gets the win in his hometown, and he'll be in friendly territory once again at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia (6.5/10). This was a good quality SNME, they usually aren't, so this was a pleasant surprise. 7/10"
[9.0] "Best Saturday Nights Main Event since they returned. All three matches were very good and one MOTY candidate early in the year in Styles vs Nakamura. Enjoyed the Rhodes and Fatu brawl to start the show."
[6.0] "It's surely the best Saturday Night's Main Event since the show's return, but it's still very mid-tier. Honestly, we could just have these matches on a weekly basis. Apart from the AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, which obviously deserves a spot on Pay Per View"
[8.0] "8.5/10 The best SNME since its revival in December 2024 w/3 good to excellent matches and a red hot angle/brawl to kick things off. More of this, WWE"
[9.0] "The opening brawl was excellently done. They can often real really manufactured, we'll brawl up the stairs, do some stuff in the concourse, then brawl down the stairs, but this was really intense and really sold how heated this rivalry is. I also loved that Drew came out to pick the bones, as it made perfect sense for a man who knows both of these guys are out to get him. Phenomenal opening. First offical match was really great fun (9) with the two most over women in the company continuing to work as a hot team (who'd guess it? ) and Liv/Roxanne being great opponents. A nice return for Stephanie as well made it a lot of fun. AJ and Shin was phenomenal (10) and will probably be a MOTY contender when all is said and done, and wouldn't have been out of place on the cerulean blue of New Japan. Main event was great (8) with a partisan crowd behind Sami, established legend Randy Orton working his arse off, Trick slotting straight into the main roster main event scene, and Damien also being there. A superb show with nearly pretty much no faults. I especially liked the twist to the ending, Drew coming out to attack his new challenger but Sami being ready for it. More of this!"
[9.0] "This show was probably the best edition of SNME since it's return. Good, fun brawl between Cody & Jacob to start off, kinda wish it got started but it is what it is. Women's tag title match was a lot of fun. AJ vs Shinsuke finally lived up to the hype and arguably overdelivered. Finally, the four way was a bunch of fun as well. Overall, I don't think there was a single negative about the show."
[8.0] "This edition of SNME was very solid in terms of match quality. All the matches were good, and if it weren't for the decision to have Jacob and Cody brawl, the score would be even higher. Knowing WWE, it was obvious that Jacob and Cody wouldn't have a clean finish, since neither of them needs a loss right now (especially Fatu), but it would have been better to have the match and, in typical WWE style, end in a No Contest after Drew McIntyre's interference. Rhea/Iyo vs. Liv/Roxanne: a good tag team title match where the result was already somewhat obvious since we already had the next challengers (heels). One observation I have is how Liv Morgan is a great tag team wrestler and terrible in singles competition [***3/4]. Styles vs. Nakamura: one of Nakamura's best matches on the main roster; they created a good structure where AJ attacked the Japanese wrestler's knee, thus nullifying his finisher. I hope AJ doesn't lose at the Royal Rumble after this victory, he doesn't deserve to have his last WWE match in Saudi Arabia [****1/4]. F4W: they went for the safe and correct result here by giving the victory to the hometown boy, which is also super over in Saudi Arabia. It's very interesting the spotlight they're giving to Trick Williams, who is establishing himself as one of the top players on SmackDown (and I think he should cost Sami the title at the Royal Rumble). I also have an observation about the end of this match, where Sami receives a Razor's Edge from Priest and 30 seconds later gets up as if nothing had happened, applies a Helluva Kick and wins the match [***3/4]. Final score 8/10."
[7.0] "This might deserve an 8, though nothing on this card totally blew me away. Once again I was thankful for there being no commercial breaks during the matches. Cody vs Jacob Fatu was actually pretty entertaining for not being a match and I would have given it a 7 if we were going to consider it a match. The women's tag went swimmingly; with even Liv performing up to the standard of the others in the match. AJ vs Shinsuke was a classic, but clearly both guys are past their prime. The main event was more than decent as well, with a hometown win for Sami Zayn."
[8.0] "This was hands down the best SNME so far. Everything worked match worked and the pacing was WAY better. If the regular TV shows mirrored this more closely I would have ZERO complaints. The obvious standout was AJ vs Shinsuke. A genuine banger."
[7.0] "Since Cody and Fatu prefer to officially knock each other out before the match even begins, this match doesn't even get started. Given McIntyre's presence and the sometimes rough impacts, it's safe to assume that a triple threat will now be the most plausible of all solutions. Then the ladies do a decent job before Styles and Nakamura conjure up a remarkable tribute to their shared past in the ring. After a decent run, the last match delivers a predictable feel-good moment for Sami Zayn. This event doesn't feel wrong at any point, unless you're watching it on YouTube, which is a bloody imposition in terms of commercial breaks. Four breaks just for the entrances before the main event. Yeah, fuck off!"
[9.0] "This was a very good Saturday Night's Main Event show. This was probably the best one since the return of the show back in 2024. I enjoyed every match that was shown. Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu were brawling around the arena, which was pretty rad. RHIYO had an entertaining match & The Judgement Day came up short. and man... I hope AJ Styles isn't retiring because he can go at a high level. Sami Zayn will soon clash with Drew McIntyre in Saudi Arabia."
[9.0] "The best snme since its return. Everything from start to finish was entertaining in its on way. The Cody Jacob brawl was awesome. I like how they are building towards doing that match down the line. Jacob has arrived. It's gonna be nice seeing him interact with the big boys going forward. Cody feels fresh again. It was very strange how they went about booking his second run as WWE champion but now that he's not champion again, there's a new sense of energy about him that wasn't there since his first run as champion imo, or more so since 2025, which was a mixed bag for him as a fan of his. What a fantastic way to open the show. ****1/4. RhIyo vs Rox Liv was great. An absolute hoot. Everyone played their roles well perfectly. The crowd was hot for this, this match featured one of the more clever ref bumps I have ever seen with Raquel tripping Rhea onto the ref. I love how they built up the hot tag to Rhea, she's such an amazing ass kicking babyface. Iyo is such a great fip that allowed how this match was structured to build so seamlessly, the back half of the match was so explosive, and in the end, RhIyo retains. It was nice to see Stephanie return too, very curious to see where they end up running her and Raquel again, maybe the rumble? ****. Aj Shinsuke was a classic, and blew away their mania match 8 years ago, and all their other matches that would follow after that, which is crazy to even say out loud since they are both much older with more mileage on their bodies. The main event was very fun. Trick already showing he belongs is a great sign for how things will go for him in the future. Old man Randy strikes again, the best he's looked since 2024. Always love the Randy Sami minutes, I wish they had a more extensive feud cause they have great chemistry. The road to Sami winning world championship gold is officially back on. ***3/4. WWE has gotten off to a great start in 2026, now let's hope their ppvs can match that same energy. Their best snme since its return. What a blast this was from start to finish."
[7.0] "I read about people being enthusiastic about the opener, but I don't agree at all. If you advertise a match, the match should actually happen. What we saw was just a waste of time, with security practically always in front of the camera. For me it was terrible fortunately the show improved afterwards. Good tag team match, with an uncertain outcome right until the end (7). AJ vs Nakamura was the match of the night, as expected, and probably with both of them nearing the end of their run in WWE, they gave it everything. It almost felt like a farewell match for both of them (9). The main event was a bit weak, or rather nobody did badly maybe Sami slightly worse than the others but the problem is that I don't like four-way matches because they take turns in the ring and in the end they become a series of 1 vs 1 situations. I don't like that, and this match went exactly in that direction. Here too there was very little interesting to see, except for the final part, even though Orton kind of disappeared from the ring in the closing stages (6). Overall a good show but nothing special in my opinion; it could easily have been a regular episode of Raw. Thankfully they didn't do the usual title change just to have something memorable (7)."
[9.0] "A fantastic show that felt very NXT: Takeover coded with every match getting ample time to deliver, whilst also coming in at a 2-3 hour runtime. I knew Cody vs Jacob was never gonna have a clean finish as neither of these guys could afford a loss at this moment so this was prolly the best and coolest way they could've gone about it. There wasn't officially a match but the brawl around the arena was still entertaining and a great way to open the show. For well over a year now, this tag division has been the most consistently well booked part of WWE and this continued here with yet another excellent tag affair between 2 incredible teams. You know a match is elite when for once, an interference spot actually ADDS to the match's drama, rather than takes away from it. Styles vs Nakamura felt like an apology from HHH for how badly these 2 were treated in their feud nearly a decade ago and they finally got the match they deserved to have at WM34. Incredible work from 2 vets who you wouldn't be able to tell that either has lost a step physically. Despite being the weakest match on the card, the fatal 4 way was a still an excellent main event, built around the hometown hero Sami but don't get it twisted, the other 3 competitors got their time to shine too from Trick constantly attempting to steal the win, Damian being the powerhouse of the bout, and Orton popping the crowd up for the big spots. The MVP was still Sami though as he was in the ring for 90% of this bout and offered so much drama around whether he'd win this which he luckily did. Since moving off cable TV, and thus no ads during matches, The last 3 SNMEs have been great and I now actively look forward to these shows, instead of dreading them like before"
[9.0] "Probably one of the best modern SNME shows I can recall. Every match was good and had some kind of stake to it. The only real dissapointment, which eas substantial, is that Fatu and Cody had an albeit very well executed prolonged and creative brawl as opposed to a real match."
[8.0] "This was the best SNME they've had since it came back, and it turns out all they needed was to get off Cable TV and cut the ads, and actually book a wrestling show. Simple, yet it took over a year to do it. Hopefully the rest of them are booked this well."
"ENGLISH: [9.0] Finally! a good WWE show, but not a "good" as in... "Well, at least it wasn't a waste of time...". It's also not a "good" like "Well... it looks like WWE is finally making a comeback", nor even a "good" like "Well, better to watch this than to be losing a game in LoL". No, no, no, no. THIS IS ACTUALLY A GOOD SHOW, and by "good" I mean it's a wrestling show you actually feel like watching, one where after seeing the match card you're not only not disappointed, but you're left wanting more. It's true that there were only 3 matches, BUT I PREFER THIS, WITH THIS LEVEL OF QUALITY, WAY MORE THAN A NIGHT WITH 6 MATCHES (like Friday's SmackDown). This show is good because in an era where you can literally swipe a finger to see infinite content, at least for me it managed to keep me engaged for the full 2 hours of the show, which is really how it should always be.
[8.0] "Simply put the best SNME since they brought it back (not that the bar is very high). The opening match not even starting and instead turning into a huge brawl was a risky choice but worked really well because it protected both wrestlers and kept the story with Drew going. The three matches were also all good with AJ vs Shinsuke being one of the best of the year so far"
[8.0] "Easily the best SNME of them all so far, wonderful stuff and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed every match in this one, I kinda just wish the Jacob Fatu and Cody brawl were technically rateable, but everything was good. Nice stuff, not much else to say honestly"
"[9/10] Great SNME all round. Now that's how you kick off a show.. Forget the pomp and circumstance, let's brawl. The crowd finally woke up after being asleep during Smackdown. Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu.. Whatever the hell that was, was great. Drew is also great. My only complaint: would have been cool to have a bit of a match beforehand. Cody / Drew / Jacob triple threat incoming? Rhiyo vs. JD was great. Does Iyo ever have a bad match? She's so consistently good. Rhiyo vs. Giulia/Kiana should also be a banger (on paper! )nShinsuke's music is 10/10. AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamora was great. I never saw their infamously bad matchup, but looks like they redeemed themselves here; for someone who's on his way out, AJ is as explosive and on form as ever. Trick is so damn over for a new heel - which is super hard to pull off for a newcomer on the main roster. The guy is a star through and through and if WWE had the balls they'd have booked him to win this match. Randy vs. Damien vs. Trick vs. Sami was a banger. Trick is the standout for me. Not that invested in Sami, so him winning was predictable but kinda underwhelming; Drew should 100% retain at the rumble."
[8.0] "These SNMEs continue to improve in quality. The show started with a wild brawl between Cody and Fatu, which ended with Drew standing tall, his title reign has been going great so far. Then there was the awesome women's tag match where RHIYO retained followed up by a masterclass between Styles and Nakamura, a whole decade after their classic at Wrestle Kingdom. Finally, the main event was pretty good but not as great as the other two matches on the show."
