Once again, the best of the night was a main event featuring Mistico (this time against Aries); Diego Hill had a good showing in the scramble match; MLW's done a good job so far of building him up. Shotzi has also looked good in her MLW matches so far. Templario vs Virus was another good bout from the company's lucha lineup, and the rest was pretty uniformly decent."

[8.0] "Really enjoyed this one. Shotzi's a good character in MLW, Diego Hill is impressive - I'd never come across him before MLW's last few events. Loved the tag match. Well, the attack before, and afterwards. Great storyline building, with tables, trash cans and a brawl down the isle. Templario is exciting to watch. Wasn't expecting Volador Jr to win. And the main event was excellent. Aries nearly killed Mistico twice on the ring apron twice!"

The main event saved it from mediocrity but the rest struggled to hit that extra gear. The crowd was loud and having a blast which helped a lot. MLW really needs to let their wrestlers stretch a bit more if they want these specials to feel special."

[6.0] "Mixed but overall solid show from MLW. The show was pretty consistent with the main event being one of MLW's best matches this year. The Middleweight Title Match was also pretty good. Some matches could have been more with a bit more time (scramble) while the opener was decent. The Kojima/Volador semifinal was not so good. The tag title match ending as it did was underwhelming (two shows after a bait and switch on Dijak/Riddle.) Brock Anderson did cut a good promo seeking revenge on Krule for the Chamber of Horrors at Slaughterhouse. An overall easy watch at least just under 2 hours."

[4.0] "CMLL Symphony of Horrors (featuring MLW) was a manageable show to get through. Decent opener with the CMLL guy defending his belt against two other CMLL guys. A little slow but not too long. The CMLL-branded lightning match was OK but I don't understand why it took Shotzi so long to beat some jobber. The five-way scramble match with three CMLL guys was also fine, didn't get much time though, also why did an MLW guy have to win? Then there was an extremely brief match that devolved into a brawl with some MLW dudes, really it was more of an angle than a match tbh. Apparently the MLW World Champion and Tag Team Champions were in this match, IDK who cares. Anyway, I think CMLL star Templario defending the CMLL--oops, sorry, MLW World Middleweight Title (he has both of those titles, of course) against CMLL star Virus was my MOTN. The double-main events were just, y'know, there. I don't think Austin Aries getting his 47th chance is going to amount to much in the long run. Really glad to see two CMLL guys battling in the finals of the Opera Cup this year. We only had one last year! Really looking forward to Sabados De Coliseo--dammit, sorry, CMLL x Don Gato in Charleston. Good Brock Anderson promo too."
