"I was not a fan of the last Australia show. The crowd was great. This is a very good show and I enjoyed it more than most pay-per-views this company offers. Skip the early tag match. It is not worth it."

[7.0] "A good show. Not exactly a super event like one of their PPVs, but it had some good stuff. A bit disappointed by the opener and main event, as they both were underwhelming for me. The women's tag absolutely stunk. However, the highlights of the TNT ladder match and the head shave were great. Page/Andrade was also quite good"

[5.0] "With the Contenders- and the Ladder match, two matches stand out a little, two other matches are rather mediocre, and the Hair- and the Women's Tag Team matches remain slightly below par. So basically, this is a serious little show with select personnel and a certain entertainment factor. Nevertheless, the house show feeling is clearly present, because with the exception of Adam Page's success, all events remain without consequences."

[7.0] "This show may not have had any single blowaway must-see match, but it was very solid throughout. Mox vs Takeshita, Page vs Andrade and Fletcher vs Briscoe were all good (the former having a good demonstration of Mox's understanding of crowd psychology with the call to have Takeshita hit his finish after the match to bring the crowd back after the time limit draw result somewhat lost it), and the other matches were all at least solid."

"This was a fun solid show, sadly it didn't have that one match of the year contender but still very fun. Expected more from the main event however"

Cons: What was wrong with the sound this show? Ring was too loud and crowd was basically silent despite seeing people cheering / Womens tag had the wrong winners imo / Mixed tag was pretty sloppy, felt like OC was just there. Maybe this show was a little infected with the smell of Collision (with it being on a Saturday) causing some plodding moments but people seem to think this was a badly booked PPV but its not. This is the start of the real setups to Revolution matches (Sorry Brody! ) and the booking was that of a TV episode (which it was). Back rake count: 2 (same match! MOTY). Eye poke count: 2."

[7.0] "A good Grand Slam Australia, a fun and easy-to-watch show. Moxley vs. Takeshita: MOTN, looking forward to the rematch [****1/4]. Harley/Willow vs. Megan/Penelope: missed the chance to change the title here [**1/2]. Hangman vs. Andrade: played it safe here (as in all the matches on the card) [***1/2]. Orange/Toni vs. Wheeler/Marina: everyone knew what was going to happen here, but the match was quite fun [***1/4]. Fletcher vs. Briscoe: another great match for this series, not their best, but worthy of the level of the feud [****1/4]. MJF vs. Brody: let's face it, no living or sane soul expected Brody to win here, so just for that reason the immersion of the match drops considerably [***1/4]. As said before, the show was good, but they could have been more daring with the results and not played so safe. Final grade: 7.5/10."

[4.0] "I didn't think this was all that great. I've had enough of Jon Moxley for at least 25 years. Still not into the Death Riders. Page/Andrade and Fletcher/Briscoe were the highlights and the main event was very disappointing. They booked themselves in a corner with Brody King."

[8.0] "Good show with a strong card, really enjoyable all night long with different kind of matches and stakes. Going from a fun mixed tag hair vs hair, to a deadly ladder match is really cool. The main event was disappointing. In the end, it's a bit better than last year, but not by very far at all. I kinda have the same feeling for the 2 shows, which is why I'm giving it the same rating."

[9.0] "This Grand Slam was off the chain! Yes... I said that. Though the crowd was dead throughout the show, but I was able to turn that care off and just watch the matches. The hype lived up to the build and the Andrade/Hangman match was well worth the wait - especially after Hangman pulled a reversal on Andrade's latino heartthrob schtick. The Moxley/Takeshita time limit draw was perfect that allows the thought that any match can get a draw. Briscoe and Fletcher was crazy and the Brody King and MJF match was so awesome. This was a banger of a Grand Slam and hope another international Grand Slam happens again this year. Cannot wait for Revolution!"

[7.0] "This was pretty good! 2 great matches, 1 good match, 1 decent match, and 2 boring tag matches. Overall I'd say that's pretty solid overall. I don't think they needed to put both tag matches on here as one could've been on dynamite but it's whatever I guess. The main event was a bit disappointing but apart from that I enjoyed this."

[8.0] "Beat the shit out of that loser bitch Grand Slam Australia from last year by a mile. Consistently great and fun with three four star matches for me. The crowd was disappointing but it didnt bother me too much."

[8.0] "This was a decent show. The crowd, as expected, were very energetic and hot. The matches here aside from both tags, were great to excellent. Mox/Takeshita delivered a very good 20 minute match, without really showing what they're capable of doing and leaving more to be desired. We obviously now know the direction for revolution between those two, which I assume will be a true exhibition of what those two can do. I'd be remiss to not mention the fact that the looming Okada/Takeshita feud has overstayed its welcome. Women's tag match was very clunky, and I can appreciate Harley for showing signs of improvement but my god does she move so sluggishly in the ring. Page/Andrade delivered a great TV match, as to be expected. I'm glad Hangman won because the history between him and MJF made the most sense going into Revolution. Mixed tornado tag was a fun match, and the post-match segment was pretty hilarious though I do hope they stop using Mina as an accessory after this. The ladder match was incredible, but the ending felt slightly abrupt which is reflected by the crowd, but regardless an incredible match and a very nice bow to their excellent 7 match series. The main event was decent, and very psychologically sound in-ring, but the match did feel like it dragged on. Brody King did a fantastic job selling the ankle, and the callback to Brody cheering Bandido on from Wrestledream with the roles being reversed here was such a sweet moment. MJF also doing everything in his power to break out of the choke due to the ramifications of this match aside from the eliminator match was a very great touch. Overall a decent show."

[9.0] "A bit biased since I was there but it was just simply a fantastic show. The ONLY complaint I can give is how the card was structured. Kyle and Briscoe should of main evented, Kyle was our guy and since he came out after the show anyway it kinda made more sense if he was just the last act. We got our moneys worth this night with all the action. Great show"

[9.0] "Another fantastic show, they continue to add to what has been nothing short of an amazing start to the year. Feel good moments helped move this show along. It's amazing what feelings you can create by giving the fans what they want to see. This show was a solid 8 or 9 out of 10 and has something for everyone."

[2.0] "Honestly a very disappointing show after some really fun and engaging Dynamites recently. Every booking decision was the obvious choice, and it felt like there were no genuine stakes in any of the matches. I'd been off AEW for a while before the recent weekly shows started to perk up my interest again, but this feels like another nail in the coffin for my interest in the promotion. Nothing ever changes, same guys stay on top for way too long, every booking decision goes for the obvious choice when surprises and unlikely outcomes are viable. They honestly do such a great job of validating any outcome in a match, are able to masterfully build believability and genuine threat in every talent at every level of the roster, but they never capitalize on what they establish. And now that they've undercut what they build recently in Andrade, Brody, and Takeshita while locking Fletcher into a belt that is too small for him at this point, there's seemingly very little that is exciting and fresh available for Revolution."

[7.0] "I liked taking the show to Australia and actually spotlighting the local talent. Fletcher felt like a star, Toni got her moment and even Harley got love. That part ruled. As a full card though, it did not hit that 2025 level. Plenty of good wrestling, ladder match chaos delivered, opener was strong but where was the drama? A lot of it felt like we were politely setting the table for Revolution. Fun night. Just missing that extra punch."

[7.0] "A very fun TV special. Felt a bit like a mini PPV with how stacked the card was. Enjoyed most of the matches here, with Kyle and Mark being the best match of the night for me. The women's tag was a bit mediocre and the main event wasnt really my thing but this was a pretty good night of wrestling overall. Some major things set up for Revolution here too with Mox and Takeshita going to a time limit draw which indicates to me that their running it back at the PPV. Hangman wins the #1 contendership match here so he goes to Revolution to challenge MJF for the title. Not sure how i feel about that one because, while i like Hangman as a wrestler, i am kinda over him as a main eventer currently and i think that Andrade probably shouldve won that match given how much momentum he has. Some stuff set up for TV too. Lena Kross debuts here and aligns herself with Megabad. Ive enjoyed some of her stuff on the indies and i think she's a solid addition to the roster. Yuta also gets his head shaved after the mixed tag which im sure is gonna lead to some entertaining TV over the next couple of weeks so im looking forward to that. While this show did have it's issues with a few underwhelming matches and the audio mixing being a bit off for some reason, i still thought this was a pretty good watch overall. MOTN - Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe"

[7.0] "Fun show, but nothing truly amazing or even great in my opinion. Felt like a collision but with some higher stakes, which I suppose in a way it was. Also, that crowd was way quieter than I expected it to be for an Australia show, which I blame on production more than anything tbh."

[8.0] "That was basically a mini PPV, just matches and videos packages. Everything was good but nothing like MOTYC. I thought MJF vs Brody King went a little too long for that style of wrestling and the finish felt flat, could have been better. My MOTN is tied between Moxley vs Takeshita and it's excellent final stretch before the time limit draw, and the incredible final chapter for the 7th game of Briscoe vs Fletcher in that crazy ladder match. The mixed tag match with Yuta getting shaved was also a highlight of the show! The sound effects/production was surprisingly bad thought, kinda ruined the vibe with the crowd barely audible sometimes. Anyway, I hope they do another Grand Slam in Mexico this year, but also a debut in Japan, France and Germany!"

[4.0] "It was an alright program. Fletcher/Briscoe was good. Best thing on the show. Yet the match and everything else felt the same. The show was one two-plus hour match, divided into six typical AEW matches. I wasn't bothered by anything, but I wasn't moved either. I felt like a lot of it was just there. I don't want to sound harsh, but this is way past treading water."

[8.0] "A great Grand Slam: Australia with every match delivering what it needed to, for being on tv and not ppv this did deliver in a great way. Jon Moxley vs Konosuke Takeshita: A great match to start the show even if the time limit draw was predictable, Takeshita showed signs of winning the title but failed on this occasion and hope they have another match at Revolution, some decent exchanges from both [****1/4]. Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale vs Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford: I preferred this to their Eliminator match on Dynamite a week or two prior, they had a solid match with all four showing what they can do in the ring, the champions retaining made sense [***1/2]. Adam Page vs Andrade El Idolo: With the stakes being high with a world title match at Revolution in play, this was a great tv match between these two, the ending was interesting, only wishing Andrade won as he deserves a shot at the world title, some good exchanges [****]. Orange Cassidy & Toni Storm vs Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta: An interesting stipulation in this one, it was a relatively fun match with Storm pinning Yuta which was an intriguing choice, the right team won in my opinion [***1/2]. Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Briscoe: A great ladder match with some brutal looking spots, both gave all they had and more in this one, Fletcher winning made sense as he not only just won the title a few days prior but was in front of his hometown crowd in Sydney [****1/4]. MJF vs Brody King: King stepped up in this one and gave all he had even in defeat, MJF overcame all the offense of King to win, King could have done with a title run but the match was still decent [****]"

[8.0] "That was fun and progressively got better, the start of the show had me concerned, the matches were being good, but with weak finishes and not everything was clicking, specially when you kinda don't have the will to watch 2:30h of pro wrestling, but the mixed tag match was a blast, Briscoe and Fletcher had another violent spectacle, and the main event made the wait totally worthy, that was classic and smelled main event all over it, it's always great when you close the event with a meaningful captivating match like that, so yeah, I had a good time, even with the occasional flukes."

[8.0] "A really, really fun show. Little-to-no time wasted, the show was mostly wrestling and they all pretty much delivered. I think I prefered this one over last year's Grand Slam as this one was way more consistent in its quality. Mox vs. Takeshita was a great opening match. Slower pace than usual at first (not a bad thing btw), but then it picked up and the final minutes were CRAZY. Megabad vs. Babes of Wrath was decent. I think I prefered their Dynamite match from a few weeks back. I'm not familiar with Lena Kross at all so her debut (or return) left me stunned a bit, but I'm curious to see what's she's like. Andrade vs. Page was a really good match. Page winning makes sense story-wise, but I wouldn't have minded to see Andrade get the win. Toni/OC vs. Marina/Yuta was probably my most anticipated match and it delivered. Very, very fun stuff overall. AEW taking intergender wrestling seriously has been a blessing. Mox forcing Yuta to shave his head was funny asf but also one of the better bits of storytelling they've done with the Death Riders lately and it shows the first stark contrast in attitude between Mox and the Death Riders. Briscoe vs. Fletcher was my match of the night. Very dumb, but also brutal and fun. Now, please, don't let these two wrestle for like 10 years. They're awesome together, but it gets to a point. MJF vs. Brody was a good main event. It was a little too long and they really lost the crowd towards the end, but I still had a good time watching. MJF vs. Hangman, as a program and as a match itself, is gonna rock, I'm sure, but I'm not really into it as I wish I was (due to outside circumstances). 8/10."

[9.0] "Absolutely fantastic TV special with stacked title matches and other matches with important stakes, all of which were at least good. Fletcher vs Briscoe was incredible. PPV level on free TV."

[8.0] "Overall a really good show similar to Grand Slam Mexico where it was mainly an in ring show with only one segment. That being the debut of Lena Kross after the tag title match which saved the worst part of the show with a cool post match and making Megabad an even cooler group. Toni/OC vs Marina/Yuta was a really fun match with some nice moments and a satisfying ending to a pretty middling feud. Brody/MJF was a good match perhaps a little long and wrestled in a way that made Max look great but limited Brody how the crowd was behind. Both Page/Andrade and Mox/Take were great matches that both just missed that extra something to take them to the next level but saved stuff for future rematches i hope we get. Fletcher vs Briscoe was just fucking great with so many memorable spots and cool moments that will stand out in a stipulation that has been done to death in the last 20 years. Overall such a good show but i think Grand slam Mexico was better even though this had better in ring action the crowd and vibe at Arena Mexico was other worldly. But this show was still great and continues AEW's great start to 2026."

[10.0] "Absolutely fantastic show! Hard hitting opener as Mox defends his Continental title against Takeshita to a draw. Babes of Wrath successfully defend their tag straps against MegaBad. Other than Willow's botches, I was happy that Harley got the pin in her native Australia. Page and Andrade was outstanding. Andrade is on fire since his return. Local Toni Storms pins Wheeler Yuta, and he has to get his head shaved. Kyle Fletcher is so good, and credit Briscoe being a good hand. Fletcher defends his TNT title with a win on his home turf. MJF with a win over Brody King. LFG"

[6.0] "Overall Rating = 3.25 Stars Ya know, I heard a lot of people saying this show was incredible and I really don't get it. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad by any means and if I were in that audience I am sure I would have went home very happy, but overall I thought it was just fine. Insanely disappointing first hour, and a much better second half. Fletcher/Briscoe and Page/Andrade were definitely the highlights but I wouldn't rate any match more than 4 stars."

[6.0] "A very in-ring-focused show with few non-match segments, aside from Lena Kross's appearance and Yuta's (expected) head-shaving. The tag matches were the weakest offering of the evening, but the 1v1s were all interesting, even if the Ladder Match's finish was a bit surprising. It still lacked at least one or two truly great matches to make for a higher-quality show. Match quality: 3.25/5. Angles and non-match segments: 0.75/3. Bonus/penalty: good atmosphere +0.5. Total: 6.5/10. Show seen on Triller TV."

[6.0] "A stepback from last year's Australia Grandslam which had a great main event and a stronger undercard whereas this one fell below expectations on both regard. Main event this year was whelming, didn't feel like a world title match at all and went on for too long to cap off this underwhelming feud but hey at least we got a cool chant out of it. Enjoyed the opening match and the mixed tag shenanigans, those were good time. Yuta getting his head shaved was the right call and satisfying but hoping it's the end of this mixed tag stuff but knowing Tony, he'll continue to drag this shit all the way to next year. They just need to move on from this, especially Toni who is capable of doing bigger and better stuff. Ladder match was solid but this match up has entered the diminishing returns territory long time ago and you couldn't shake the feeling of repetitiveness of watching the same stuff, the fact that they had to rely on big outrageous bumps so much tells you the whole story. Hangman winning and challenging mjf for the world title feels lame to me, it's the same stuff we've seen last year, Andrade at least would have been a more interesting choice. Women's tag match was underwhelming and forgettable, feel bad for the trajectory of those titles. They're already an afterthought. Overall not a bad show, it had some good wrestling and fun moments with some really questionable decisions along with feuds that are either dragging for too long or not feeling fresh enough due to the repetitive nature of the booking. It wasn't as good as last year's show but it was still decent I guess."

[8.0] "The arena didn't help the usual tiny ring has become a meme, but in reality it unfortunately creates several problems for the matches. The event production did what it could, but the top-down camera was missing. I couldn't tell if the crowd expected more, but honestly, apart from Kyle, they didn't show any interest at all; even MJF had trouble interacting with them. The matches weren't outstanding, but that was the card, and there wasn't much that could be done. That said, it wasn't a PPV, more like a house show or a weekly show, so I'd say it was fine. Now I expect better for Revolution, with proper build-up starting from the next Dynamite."

[7.0] "This was a good yet underwhelming show. Grand Slam starts off pretty well with the Takeshita Moxley bout, the match was good and the time limit draw is the correct decision. The womens tag was boring, this is what happens when you don't give any substance to your matches. Outside of 'Harley Cameron is from Australia' and MegaBad are the heels' there's no substance here, meaning no intrigue and you get a match like this. Page Idolo was good, Page was definitely the favourite going into this, the Revolution main event was bound to be Page MJF. The mixed tag was pretty fun, pretty interesting development having Mox convince Yuta to uphold his end of the deal. Very out of character from him, typically he wouldn't care about these things, definitely a tease towards Moxley's departure from the Death Riders that I would do at Anarachy in the Arena at DON. Fletcher Briscoe was solid I'm just over seeing these two wrestle. MJF Brody was an alright main event, we knew MJF was winning with the Page win, but it did the job. We should get some proper build from now until Revolution. Pretty good show, no match really stood out for me, but it did the job. 6.5/10 show"

[9.0] "A PPV-level card for free TV. Last year's Grand Slam was my favorite AEW TV episode of the year, and this year's event lived up to my expectations. Not a bad match on the show, a lot of variety in match styles, and a great crowd throughout. The Australian and England crowds always bring it and make AEW feel like a big deal; I hope the company continues these types of yearly shows, and maybe expands to other countries as well."

"8/10 This was a solid show that wasn't PPV but felt like it for a Saturday night. Every match had a proper story going Into it and going out of it. MJF vs Brody never really hit that final gear and I think the crowd felt it. Mixed match tag was probably my MOTN, it was just fun"

[7.0] "Got to attend my first AEW Show had a great time. Fletcher v Briscoe & Moxley v Takeshita were fantastic. Main Event was solid but won't go down as one of MJF's greatest title defences. Glad they're doing MJF v Hangman again 1 on 1, especially being a year after their great match as the last Revolution. Keen to rewatch to see how the crowd sounded on tv. I thought we were pretty good but not as good as I hoped. My section especially was frustrating felt like I was the only one there who wanted to make noise."

[10.0] "This was an excellent show. It really felt like a mini PPV that had a lot of exciting and big matchups. The match of the night definitely goes to Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Briscoe 7. People say they're tired of this matchup (and I get it to a certain extent), but they work magic every single time. Honorable mention goes to the opener with Mox vs Takeshita, that was some excellent wrestling on display."

[6.0] "The wrestling was good but nearly every finish with the exception of Briscoe/Fletcher was the least interesting one they could have gone with. Hangman/MJF just happened last year and Andrade is the more over guy. Moxley doesn't need to be going to 20 minute time limit draws with Takeshita in 2026, the latter should just be winning and moving on to finish (or fucking start) the Okada story. Babes of Wrath are stuck in this weird zone where Willow is also the TBS champ but neither that nor the tag titles feel in a good place atm. MegaBad have way more chemistry and feel like a legit team, BoW feel forced. MJF winning at least I understand. But yeah, not ideal. The crowd wasn't great either."

[8.0] "Not as strong as the Dynamite that preceded it but still a really solid show, even if the results were fairly predictable. TNT match was the highlight (and hopefully does allow us to move past Briscoe/Fletcher for a long, long time)."

[7.0] "A good show with a bunch of pretty good matches. The mixed tag wasn't for me and the women's tag and main event were decent. The rest of the show was impressive though. The opener and ladder matches stick out as the highlights."

[7.0] "Fine show with match quality ranging from 3.25 to 4 stars. I won't say the crowd was bad but they certainly weren't hot imo. Opener was slow for a while and picked up in the 2nd half. I hate these 1 count spots and their C2 match was much better imo. Women's title package could've been better. Women's tag was an easy watch, but with an underwhelming finish and the wrong winners imo. Maybe the best I've seen Harley though. Post match fell flat for me. No1 contenders match started off electric, slowed down a bit in the middle and had a great finish (Hangman was wise to Andrades tactics). Hair Match was fun and structured effectively to capitalize on face/heel dynamics. A few psychological notes weren't executed all that well (Yuta willing to let Marina take the fall and the double submission) but Yuta's busaiku knee on Storm looked great. Post match was pretty good (and Mox at least is showing some character consistency) but could've been even better. TNT title was my MOTN with several brutal bumps. Issue was that both guys recovered too quickly from devastating moves. Main Event was solid and the injured limb angle was pretty predictable but well done. This wasn't necessarily an exciting match but the psychology and structure was satisfying, believable and a breath of fresh air (because there weren't excess kick outs). Solid post match. Since it's being treated like a collision, I'll give it a 7 due to lack of segments/promo. Would've been an 8 otherwise."

[8.0] "Basically a miniature AEW PPV (so a normal PPV by any other company standard). Not a bad match on the show, though I do think Hangman/Andrade and Fletcher/Briscoe VII were a bit underwhelming (besides Mark's ridiculous bumping) by being "just" good. Great showing from all the Australian talent on the show (Fletcher, Harley, Toni, and the debuting Kross). Mixed Tag was by far the best thing on the show before during and after the match; Wheeler Yuta is one of the best heels in the world (clipping Mina's hair into his own is insane) and he got immense comeuppance after a fantastic match."
