307.05.2025RestlingThots 1) That heated verbal battle between LA Knight and Damien Priest in the opening segment was low-key one of the best dialogues in SmackDown history. LA Knight reminded me that he was the hottest WWE superstar once for a reason. I still skip his matches (his style is as generic as it gets), but who cares when you are THAT good on the mic? 2) The best match of the night was Aleister Black vs. The Miz. What a great opponent for Black to get back into the WWE ring. Carmelo added just the right amount of "swag" to the match. Now I want to see them face each other next - the clash of styles will be glorious. 3) lol, I completely missed Vega winning the USA Championship last week. Chelsea Green and Co mourning her "loss" by wearing all black was a genius move. 4) I don't remember a single word Randy Orton said in his promo. It's borderline sad when one of the participants can't make it to the show, so the other half has to carry the whole feud on his back (by spinning wheels). Overall, I found the episode to be rather weak; for the most part - it's just happened. But hey, that's okay; we are only one week removed from SmackDown after WrestleMania, the night where the best TLC match of the modern era happened - it's okay to take it easy sometimes, to let things breathe, let the audience catch their breath before taking it on a new emotional roller-coaster.

1206.05.2025Kapi5.0A WWE episode with 6 matches and all of them being over 9 minutes (funny enough, one should probably be a squash) is a pretty nice surprise. None of them were great, tho. The opener was good with the most typical, easy, predictable and boring WWE finish, but at least I hope the 4 way will be good. Fraxiom match was fun except for the sad botch, hope Elton is fine. Aleister vs Miz was way better than I expect a Miz match to be so I take it. Zelina's match was awful and the main event was simply bad, also nobody wants more Nia vs Tiffy. Adding Naomi and Jade makes it a little (very little) more interesting. I guess the booking would be almost identical of the USA men Championship. Santos vs Rey was good but in any other company without WWE restrictions would have been 10 times better. Storywise, nothing to highlight. An ok Randy promo that doesn't really adds anything and a pretty funny segment beetween the Hervice and Aldis. The whole show felt off, maybe the wrestlers were sad because of the releases, maybe the crowd just didn't care at all about what they were watching. I won't blame them in any case, pretty understandable. Anyway, just remember is always fine to just watchwrestling, if you get what I mean.
1306.05.2025GunAlpha3.0This episode of SmackDown is very bad, even worse than the average (which is more or less a 5 for me)The main event doesn't look like a main event, it looks like a House show fight, the promos were useless and generic as always, Aleister Black's debut was good, and Obviously, the FIGHT OF THE NIGHT was Fraxiom's, but it wasn't anything special either. And even the Latin wrestling wasn't beyond acceptable at best. Garbage!
1406.05.2025robbyplaha6.0This episode of SmackDown was a balanced episode; the matches were okay, nothing too spectacular or something that you'll remember, but I did enjoy some of the segments on the show. The only thing I hope for is a Draft to reset this roster. They need to fix this SmackDown roster because it lacks in certain areas big time, and it doesn't help that some of the depth pieces have been released from the company, but other than that an okay episode of SmackDown.
1506.05.2025Ringo19935.0Another lifeless episode from a morally bankrupt company. How long are they going to ride the crest of a wave from 2023? It's just a really uninspired formula, with average-at-best matches, an ageing roster, and a booker who hasn't got an original ideal in his fucking head. How they're getting big crowds after a year of mediocrity is baffling. It's like Cirque Du Soleil comes to town... you've heard of it so might as well check it out even if I've got no idea what to expect. Rubbish.

2005.05.2025Sky2275.0Most of the stuff on this show was just there & felt like the typical lazy Smackdown booking which is why I couldn't really get invested. The releases also impacted the mood going into the show. Now the faces are fighting each other and then Bloodline interfere. If this would have been another Bloodline tag main event, I wouldn't have watched it. Another nice Fraxiom showcase, which sadly had 2 counting/pin issues as Prince got hit. I didn't need a 10min singles match with the Miz in 2025 especially when it's Black's debut but at least we get Black vs Melo now. Why does she need to beat Zelina again before getting a title match after Piper beat Zelina a couple of weeks ago? Fenix vs Santos was ok but I felt like both wrestled at 60%. Also this Santos trying to recruit Fenix while dumping Los Garza who get defended by Andrade storyline just isn't hitting me. Main event is a classic random Smackdown tag match like Teddy Long is still GM, but at least the women got some screen time. I guess Jade got the pin on Nia, so Nia wins next week thanks to Naomi interference so they will probably run back this tag match again.

2505.05.2025ISimon19127.0The first hour/half of this SmackDown was very competent, LA Knight and Priest had a great match until once again the US Title mix match ended in a No contest, Fraxiom vs. Pretty Deadly was good and Black vs. Miz was competent, then the show just went downhill. Apart from the confirmation of F4W by the US belt, this show is a complete filler

3405.05.2025TomTakagi5.0Opening segment was okay and the match was going well until the interference knocked it down a mark (6). A fatal four way being set up for the US title has a lot of star power and continues us along the path to Solo vs Fatu. I don't have any massive problems here. The refereeing mistakes dragged the tag match down significantly (5) which was unfortunate, but these things happen. Hopefully Elton just suffered a cut chin and nothing more serious. Women's segment was pretty paint by numbers and it looks like there could be a four-way there, too, which would be a shame. Not every match needs to be a multi-man. Aleister Black taking nearly 10 minutes to beat The Miz feels like a misstep but the match was fine (6) and it looks to set up Carmelo vs Black which I'm excited by, if a bit conflicted as I'm not sure either guy should be losing right now. If I thought Aleister and Miz was longer than necessary, imagine how I felt with a 12 minute Zelina Vega and Piper Niven match (5). Three hours is too long for this Smackdown roster, it's as simple as that. The backstage segment with Jacob, Aldis, and Solo was the highlight of the show so far. It's really cool to see people saying Jacob's catchphrases with him and Aldis telling Solo he knows he's screwing Jacob adds so much intrigue to this situation. If Jacob Fatu isn't already a fully fledged babyface, they're going to struggle to stop that from happening, because the people are really into him. Santos and Fenix was okay (6) but underwhelmed against expectations - the post match with Andrade added intrigue. Something needs to change Legado because it's just not doing anything of interest right now. Women's main event was okay (6) but like I said, not every match can be a multi-man, and I'd rather see Tiffy beat Nia and get Jade/Naomi 2. A show with 6 matches of 9-15 minutes and not one of them above a 6 is damning. This show was all filler, no killer, but nothing outright bad in its own right. Highlight was a 1 minute backstage segment.

4004.05.2025crs2857.0Show starts out with strong LA Knight promo blaming Priest for his loss last week. Fine match but can we please get a clean finish for LA Knight besides his loss to Fatu recently. All the matches were at least solid but Fraxiom and Pretty Deadly was the best one on the show. Black vs Miz was another good matchup with solid selling making Black look great. Like the dynamic with Solo and Fatu right now as Solo got the triple threat turned into a fatal fourway. Vega vs Piper was fine did what it needed to do. Fenix and Escobar was the second best match on the show and the Andrade segment after was done well. Orton had another good promo but very similar to his promo last week. Main event was fine.

6004.05.2025SavageDylanHRDZ Filler. That's it. That's how you can summarize this week's show: Filler, filler, filler, and... what is that? More filler. The segments are totally forgettable, and if--and that is a big IF--you remember any of these, then you'll hate them. I guarantee that will happen 10/10 times. The first segment made that totally clear. And L.A. Knight's match with Damian? It ends with ANOTHER NO CONTEST! For crying out loud, just make a clean finish for once! Aleister's match with Miz is ALSO forgettable, pretty sad considering it's the former's first match in the company. Zelina vs Piper? Forgettable, too! The main event? A severe downgrade after last week. A shame, a total damn shame. The only 'good' matches in the card are Rey vs Santos and Fraxiom vs Pretty Deadly. Speaking of the latter bout: It was alright, but I feel Pretty Deadly are being jobbers, and that sucks. Throw them a bone or two; they did not sign up for your promotion only to be treated like a punching bag 24/7. That sucks and we all know it. And speaking of talent... the layoffs: Good God, the layoffs, I feel bad for Gigi, Dakota and Braun. They got shafted hard, and it made the show WAY worse than it was already. Overall: 4/10. Nice going over there, TKO.

7003.05.2025Paul048.0It was a good show and better than 85% of the SmackDown episodes this year, but it was a pretty stupid choice to release people the same day of SmackDown (I'm not taking to account the releases because I'm rating the show not the company), better wrestling all around the show compared to previous weeks
7103.05.2025Hazem0.0This could've been the best show ever or the worst show ever and it still wouldn't matter (it wasn't good) because Smackdown here beat WWE's last visit by 2k in terms of attendance and the tickets were probably twice as expensive. Virtually every city they go to now they break the record gate for it, so why oh why are they releasing 10+ unsuspecting wrestlers and putting them out of jobs in a climate that has no independent wrestling and an already bloated competitior. I hope these people all land on their feet but it's not looking good from where I stand. The fact they did it during Smackdown as well hoping that the show drowns it out is pure cowardice. Their only problem was that this show actually for real sucked. Yet another DQ finish and yet another Zelina Vega (with all due respect) match. Aleister Black's return continues to feel underwhelming. Santos vs Fenix was good tbf but outside of that everything else ranged from fine to downright bad. No Drew, Cody, or Cena to carry things was always gonna be a handicap but even relative to all that, this was a stinker of a show and what happened outside of the show was a 1000 times worse.

7403.05.2025Jamildo24.0Just a really boring and averagely delivered three hours of mediocre promos where occasionally a bang average match seemed to happen by accident. Randy Orton delivered a thoroughly professional and generic promo in his latest attempt to plug the gap between Cena's appearances and generate any kind of heat for this feud. He did a stand up job but is fighting a losing battle. Unfortunately that was also this shows high point. Just mid from bell to bell. Four feels generous quite frankly. It took me three attempts to get through this show and I was bored throughout. 4/10
7503.05.2025Moranjeboom8.0I thought the action was solid all night, highlight being Nathan Frazer and Axiom defeating Kit Wilson and Elton Prince. LA Knight seems to be improving in ring slightly recently, however the DQ finish is overused right now. Rey Fenix, Jade Cargill, Aleister Black, and Naomi also stood out

8303.05.2025BorrisCortes8.0Yes this smackdown didn't have any big segments but the matches made up for the lack of big segments. After a decent exchange between Knight and Priest, we had a match that was beyond my expectations. The two had good chemistry with some powerful spots. The DQ was consistent with Sikoa wanting to try and eliminate Priest and Knight but he couldn't and it was Fatu who cleaned house in a very cool segment. The officiating and reinforcement that this match is going to happen is Sikoa's fault is great and teases us Fatu/Sikoa perfectly. The second match is very good in terms of in ring and in terms of match tag but the two huge botchs took me out of the match. Fraxiom as cool as ever against Pretty Deadly who show they're up to the task. Aleister Black's first match was a success with a great match against a Miz who surprised me and did the job to give Aleister Black a great win. Black's kicks are insane. Zelina Vega/Niven is very average, despite being better than their first clash. The crowd was there to cheer Green but not Vega, which shows that Vega's build to the US title was sloppy. The ending was a little better with the crowd starting to cheer Vega on and even if she wins, I can't see the next step for her. Orton's promo was very cool with a breaking of the fourth wall about Cena using the PG era to reign.Fenix/Escobar is fantastic, with the first part psychological, Escobar trying everything to recruit Fenix, and the second part pure wrestling. The Main Event is cool with Jade Cargill, cheered on by the fans, showing her improvement since her return. The after-match clearly teases a fatal 4-way. I had no knowledge of the releases when I saw this smackdown which explains why I enjoyed this show. We're keeping Carlito, Otis, Tozawa and Dupri but firing Kai, Strowman and the KCs. Disgraceful. Smackdown is starting to look better than it did at the beginning of the year. Keep up the good work.

8703.05.2025HarryKane7.0I thought it was a relatively fine episode than the slop we usually get in these 3 hours since there were barely any bad matches on the show, and a single major promo was just there to hype the main event at Backlash (it still feels weird for Orton to be the good guy in this situatuion).
8803.05.2025Matrakilho6.0
8903.05.2025MyTwoSenseReal7.0I think it was a decent show, sure the releases would affect the moods of anyone, but as a show, this is still a pretty good episode that is mostly rare from SmackDown. A wrestling heavy show that saw decent to good matches with Fraxiom always looking excellent and Rey Fenix getting some steam back after losing at Mania.
9003.05.2025Jeezus6.0[2.75/5.00]: The lay-offs earlier kinda dampened the overall feeling I had watching this episode because a genuine women's tag team getting released before a makeshift team of the 4 ladies maineventing the show feels off-putting, who by the way would have made Tiffany's reign more exciting than what we got for like the last 4 or so months. While a limping Braun, who gave everything in his 2nd run despite his paralysis, made this a depressing watch too. Which is a shame because this was a well-wrestled show, any show Fraxiom gets to wrestle is a win in my opinion, and Pretty Deadly gelled well with their style of wrestling too, elsewhere Miz, who I still don't get why he's so hated in the IWC, also wrestled a pretty convincing match, while the women, were there I guess, they are in urgent need to get their star power back.
9103.05.2025Yee I watch wrestlin5.0
9203.05.2025KingsCrossing7.0It would be great if people would actually rate the show instead of their feelings about the releases... I thought it was pretty good episode, personally. All of the new roster members have done a great job of making the midcard feel fresh again, and the wrestling this week was solid for the most part. I was pleased to see a bit more action than usual in general. Orton's promo was a bit rambling in the middle, but outside of that I thought everything moved along nicely. Nothing crazy, but a fun show that felt easier to sit through than a lot of the 3 hour SDs have been.
9303.05.2025VINCEoWrestling5.0A SmackDown episode that showed us the strict minimum. An episode that comes after a wave of releases, which is annoying and frustrating. But if we summarize this SmackDown, it was really light. Orton gave a good promo, the US title program is cool even if Drew gets screwed over once again. And the rest, well, it really wasn't amazing.

9603.05.2025wrestlingisreallife7.0It was a good show and the fact that it got such a low rating because of the eliminations shows how stupid the people who rated it were. Except for the Zelina and Piper match, the quality of the rest of the matches was good and we saw a match-oriented show. Everything about Aleister Black was great and I really enjoyed it. I give this show 7 points.
