[7.0] ""Mystery Box" Collisions are usually incredibly fun, and this is no different. Nothing too spectacular, but solid ring work and a fun watch make this a very enjoyable two hours."
[5.0] "Poor, disappointing episode this week. Mostly mid card feuds and an over reliance again on throwaway multi mans matches. Only real highlight for me was Toni Storms magnificent promo but even with that I managed to find a few minor faults. Collision is becoming a chore lately."
[6.0] "Match wise this Collision was way to predictable and could have predicted the winners and not even watch. The best and only good match was the 8 man tag. However the Toni Storm promo was very good and we need more stuff like this building to Toni & Mercedes not just matches with very little story progression. Moxley had a decent promo but I wish we got an actual Hangman & Moxley face to face promo which we still haven't gotten yet. Decent Colllision. I"
[7.0] "First hour was pretty good, the show get worst in the second. I really liked the opener, even if I'm not AR bigger fan, this aerial wrestlers vs Mox are always cool. The multiman was great, not as spotty as it uses to be in AEW but more hard hitting, my favorite match of the night. Swerve vs Shane Taylor was also good and had the funny bet gag. Great Toni promo and it's awesome to see Ibushi back, I hope he is good physically. Not so much to say about the mixed tag and JetSpeed match was good enough but it was far of what they, specially Speedball, can do. The main event had some awkward spots that felt slow and overchoreographed, the rest was good, nothing great. The show was a fun watch but nothing was must watch."
[8.0] "A fine start to the program with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley laying a beat down on AR Fox. Super fun 8-man tag team match with FTR & ProtoShita defeating Bandido and some other guys. Enjoyable match between Swerve and Shane Taylor, in which I'm glad Shane T got a ton of offense in. Don't ruin Hologram by lopping him in with the Conglomeration. No issue with him being in a faction, but keep him away from them please. Then JetSpeed continues to be shoved down our throats. Would much rather have seen GOA pushed with a win. Loved the main event, with Athena (My forever champion), Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford and Spiderwoman knocking off Thunder Rosa, TayJay and the Queen. Hope this rivalry is not over."
[8.0] "After countless weeks of Collision being an afterthought, it finally got the spotlight it deserved. 1) I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the AEW World Champion approaching the ring for the first match of the night, and not just against anybody, but against my man - AR Fox. Obviously, at that moment I knew we would have to wait at least another week to see our upcoming star pick up his first W. At this point, AR Fox's stats must be so horrendous, the production team didn't even find it appropriate to display them in his graphics. 2) Swerve vs. Shayne Taylor was a good match on its own, but the gambling that took place at ringside made it so much better. 3) I can't believe Toni Storm declared herself as a "whore" on national TV in prime time. What a wild character. One of the best of her promos ever. She seemingly crossed EVERY border there was to cross, and somehow got away with it. 4) Including Okada into Don Callis family ahead of his match against Omega was a very smart decision. They're not in Japan anymore, so they can't find the middle ground by speaking Japanese, and cutting promos in English isn't what would have made Kazuchika look good side by side with an English native speaker like Kenny. By associating the former with another English native speaker who can fight his verbal battles for him and who also has history with the AEW International Champion was an obvious, but nonetheless genius move. 5) What can be worse than an 8-Man Tag Team match main event? Right, an 8-WOMAN Tag Team match main event. Too bad, Collision went from having the most badass matches closing the show, to having matches that used to open Rampage."
[7.0] "I'm going to give this collision a higher rating than usual but only for a couple of specific things as the rest of the episode mostly was the same as the recent episodes which is at best of mediocre quality. There were a couple of things that I liked. Highlight of the show was Toni's incredible promo. She's doing fantastic work which is being taken for granted now because she's doing it amazingly and consistently. The way she's hard carrying this feud, trying to add some meaning to it when she's likely going to be losing is insane to me while the catchphrase merchant barely does any contributing except adding more meaningless titles to her collection (soon AEW women's title about to be just another belt after everything Toni's done for it which is a shame). I also liked Kris and Mox's brief interaction which made me look forward to what's coming in the next few weeks. The matches were either subpar or okay, nothing you need to go out of your way to watch but at least seeing the likes of Swerve and Willow in action is nice. Star power was a bit better at least compared to the previous weeks which is a crazy low bar but aside from the aformentioned story developments there wasn't really that much you're missing. Oh and Ibushi came back, so there's that."
[8.0] "The show opens with a big stoke promo pre title sequence building up to FTR and Protoshita vs Adam Cole and friends then after some lovely Elton John we are straight into the opener Mox vs Fox in a non title bout a pretty fan match tbh better than I expected. Then we get a post match moxley promo building up the main event of all in. Then we got a recap of grand slam and a pre match promo from Adam Cole as we go into the All star 8 man tag which was great then we get a post match angle where the out runners glorified jobs run off some of the top heels fucking yawn. Then we get a promo from both women's teams for their All star 8 man tag. We come back from the break and we have a backstage segment from Mercedes which was pretty good then we go into Swerve vs Shane Taylor which was a pretty decent match with a fun bit going on at ringside then we go into a promo from Toni storm still dressed a Carmen SanDiego with Toni once again showing why she is one of the best in the world on the mic right now then we got MXM and Taya vs the Conglomeration which I guess was pretty decent. Then we cut to Statlander backstage who is interrupted Yuta who she throws away and then Mox confronts here and tells her to value herself pretty cool. Then we get a Don Callis promo explaining his actions from summer block buster. Then mark Briscoe comes out and brings back Fucking Kota Ibushi who looks in great fucking shape then we had a brawl between the workhorsemen and Big Bill and Bryan Keith which is interrupted by Christian cage and the rest of his family when he sets his aims for him and nick to become father and son tag team champs and we get Big Bill calling mother Wayne a whore which was pretty entertaining. We then get a pre tape between Bowens and Billy Gunn where tension starts to build and hopefully Billy Gunn is tossed to the side. Then we go into JetSpeed vs GOA which was a pretty solid tag match to build up JetSpeed and then we go into the main event the women's All star tag match a really solid match building for the future mainly for the ROH belt which is cool to see and Tony announces the Casino gauntlet match for All In to close the show. Overall a really strong showing from an episode people were worried about pretty good matches throughout the night and some great promos especially Toni storm and a really good and surprising return from Kota so a good episode."
[6.0] "It was a fine show and there were bits of story developments for some feuds but a couple of matches were just average and not very engaging. The eight man tag was the best one of the show for me which was a bit surprising cause they've been running similar matches with the same people for the last couple of episodes but this one was very enjoyable. The last two matches were pretty good too, though the main event could use some more time imo."
[7.0] "Highlight of this show was the Toni Storm promo. In terms of news, Kota Ibushi's return was big, though I wish it had happened in front of a bigger crowd. Match of the night for me was JetSpeed vs. Gates of Agony. The in-ring in general was a tier below what AEW is capable of delivering, though it was still satisfying on the whole. Was also happy to see Athena on AEW TV again. A bit of a comedown after the high that was Grand Slam Mexico. All In build continues to be interesting."
"Show was mostly fine with a couple of standout segments/moments. The in-ring aspect of the show was lacking, but the show wasn't bad at all. Moxley vs. Fox was solid. The six men tag was my match of the night, good match. Swerve vs. Taylor was solid. Toni Storm's promo was excellent, top notch stuff from her. Ibushi returning to step up to Okada and the DCF was a great moment. There was a great interaction between Moxley and Kris Statlander; really curious to see where it's going to bring us. Conglomeration vs. MxM Collection was alright; could've done without. Patriarchy segment was alright. JetSpeed vs. Gates Of Agony was good. All-stat eight women tag was alright. 7/10"
[8.0] "A good show despite not having big standout matches. Felt better than the sum of its parts. Easy watching and pretty decent amount of starpower."
[9.0] "This episode was sort of made for me, as I love MxMTV and don't think they get enough time, love Ibushi who has been gone forever, and love Timeless Toni Storm at all times. With all that said, I thought Kris Stat's frustration with Lexy, rejection of Yuta, and fear and admiration of Mox as he let her know her true worth was the best thing on the show. Kris is either set up for a major heel turn and likely partnering with Marina as a pair of bash babes, or she's gonna make us think she's gonna join the Death Riders then save Willow for a monster pop. Regardless, those few minutes on the show focused on Stat were my favourite despite liking a lot of the matches and performers on this particular episode."
[5.0] "Boring show that Toni Storm couldn't save. AEW needs to do better giving matches that have some stakes. Ibushi coming back is something. Hopefully he is healthy. Christian/Big Bill exchange was very weak. Gates of Agony are some of the talent AEW should get rid of. Ricochet on commentary was terrible as well. The main event would have better as an opener."
[6.0] "Some watchable matches and segments, Kota Ibushi returned and we will see if he has recovered and is more mobile than before his injury. The promo with Mox and Kris would have been better had the sound been cleaned up. But lots of this show was fine, some was a little tedious, some was good. A properly mixed bag if I'm honest. Bandido was massively over with this crowd which was awesome."
[5.0] "The matches lacked suspense and stakes, which was rather disappointing. Seeing multi-(wo)man matches with no follow-up and big names beating midcarders with no storylines wasn't very engaging. Fortunately, there were quite a few things of note outside the matches, including the surprise return of Kota Ibushi to interrupt Okada and Don Callis. There were also some good segments with Toni Storm, Statlander/Moxley and Bowens questioning his collaboration with Billy Gunn. The segment with Christian started well, but the "jokes" about Mama Wayne's sexuality are really embarrassing for a promotion that some see as "progressive". Finally, to end on a positive note, I think it's pretty cool to see Ricochet scouting some matches, even if it's just getting started. In-ring quality: 2.25/5. Angles and segments outside matches: 1.75/3. Bonus/malus: too few high-stakes matches -0.5 . Total: 5.5/10. Show seen on AEW Plus."
[10.0] "Ibushi returned and thats really the only thing I need for this to be a 10/10 show, but we also had a really great Toni promo and solid matches across the board. Colliders are certainly rewarded for their dedication to the product!"
[8.0] "Very good wrestling throughout the show. We opened up with Moxley and his promo selling the All In match with Hangman Page. Then it was the 8 man tag match which should lead to a TNT championship match between Adam Cole and Kyle Fletcher. It's about time TK starts pushing Fletcher he has it all. Toni Storm delivered another great promo. We had some good developments for Kris Statlander and we ended with a very good 8 women's tag team match. My main criticism is that apart from the main event every match was predictable so I'm not rating this any higher than an 8"
[8.0] "Great Collision episode overall. Paragon vs Don Callis family match yet again, but probably the best one of the series. Of course, Kota Ibushi debuted, so that was exciting. Another highlight was the unexpected JetSpeed vs Gates of Agony banger."
