[4.0] "Seems like Dynamite gets worser by the week. This was an absolute shit product to be honest. Yeah you got 2 decent matches with Strickland vs. AR Fox and surprisingly the women's match between Jamie Hayter and Julia Hart. The opening segment was kinda okay I guess. It was also way too long for its own sake, with Ospreay really sucking on the mic, which surprises me, because his promos in NJPW were really good. Must be the terrible writing given by the edge lord and fantasy wrestling author, Tony Khan - the worst booker since Vince Russo in WCW. It's "funny" how many parallel's recent AEW has with WCW's worst days. The title picture is a mess with old has beens being in there stealing time and opportunities from younger much better athletes like PAC, Private Party or Brian Cag. Them being wasted or even badder fed to those old vampires like Edge, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin who all aproach their 50's is just a sad sight. It just boggles someone's mind to see that in 2025. But the World Title holders across all promotions suck today, with guys like Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Gunther, Joe Hendry holding the most important titles of each brand. Just Cody Rhodes is legitametly and rightfully a champ. If you want to go even further, look to NJPW were the best wrestler in the world, ZSJ is the IWGP World Heavyweight champion putting out 10 out of 10 points matches on a regular base. But back to AEW. No storyline is compelling. Hiding the World Title in a briefcase, wow, how artistic this is. Or the stupid storyline about MJF trying to get a World Title shot by trying to help Jeff Jarrett win it. WTF! ? Like seriously? ! And don't get me started on The Learning Tree BS. That's even the worst one. The two decent matches this episode kinda save the rating from falling into the abyss. 4 points at best!"

[7.0] "A tale of two shows doesn't do this justice, the difference in both quality and philosophy between the opener and main event was staggering. Kenny has been back for three weeks now and every week we got something different in his storyline, you can argue whether you like it or not but there's at least progression throughout the last three weeks compared to the Death Riders where we see the same angle every week. This is a bloodline act only worse and in front of people who are not even interested in the actual Bloodline. JJ was in a sweet spot around All In but overexposed doesnt even begin to cut it right now, Hangman and MJF on the other hand is a VERY interesting direction. The main event considering the talent in it and the fact that it had what was a largely hot crowd before it was the drizzling shits and one of the worst in the show's history. A methodical 18 minute match with no soul topped with the Death Riders repeating the same f***ing angle yet again. For a group that claims the run AEW and want to tear down this place and start again, they sure don't do anything besides attacking title contenders, like hit a referee or threaten an announcer, ttear up the ring. JUST DO ANYTHING. Anyway, Kenny Omega rules and should be the world champion."

[8.0] "Fantastic episode of Dynamite this week! The opening segment with Kenny, Ospreay & the Don Callis family was chaotic brilliance that leads to a dream match at Grand Slam Australia. The moonsaults in-sync was the highlight. The Tag division should now have a fresh start (Hurt Syndicate being champs should lead to more focus being placed on this division). I loved Private Party winning the titles, but the follow up was almost non-existent so switching things up was needed. Harley Cameron is an absolute gem - both her segments were great. Swerve & AR Fox have another very good match and post-match interactions build for the Ricochet match. Jamie & Julia have a much better match this time around and builds anticipation for the third match. Brody / Buddy / Julia also had a great vignette on what their future holds! Hangman continues to be the best, a teaser for a feud with MJF (yes please) and then a great segment with Daniels confirming that the Texas death match was his last ever match. Main event was very good, but then the same post match beat down that has happened, seemingly forever. (8/10)"

Especially, the main event picture is collapsing after how Cope/PAC went down. Nonetheless, the remaining stories had great progress! Ospreay & Omega as AEW's Mega Powers, the tag division's restored feeling, JJ's quest for gold, the Swerve/Ricochet saga, and Hangman's slow change of heart - everything was done eloquently and piqued huge interest moving forward. 7.5 out of 10 points!"

We got some highlights like the incredible opener with Omega / Ospreay and The Don Callis Family. The Hurt Syndicate winning the Tag Straps, Swerve v. Ricochet's story and Hangman and Daniels' interaction and then we got low tier stuff like The Deathriders in general. Get them off my screen, I am SICK and TIRED of them. It's not even funny! Jeff Jarrett's story has gone stale and MJF cuts the same lifeless promo every single week. The main event was also pretty damn bad. I want AEW to improve and I love AEW but these things really just hit at me as poor booking. Overall, a decent show plagued by issues. [***]"

Swerve vs AR Fox was very good and I really liked Rocochet's involvement. Hart vs Hayter was my favourite match on the show. What scanned as being 50/50 Booking actually turned into 100/100 Booking. Both women go so much out of it. This show loses points for the main event. Didn't feel like any stakes and when you have no stakes you can't slow it down that much. Good in-ring work, just not compelling."

The death riders have been such a burden on the show recently that it has dampened the product for me significantly, but besides that, I thought this show was very good with the first hour being incredible. Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega continue to be the heart and soul of professional wrestling and The Hurt Syndicate seem poised to be the new leaders of the tag division and will be the ones to carry it back to the days of old. Overall, the show was very good outside of the Death Riders, which hurts my excitement for the show greatly."

[7.0] "Really fun episode that I feel a lot of people are rating lower than it deserves because of the final match and Deathriders segment. Admittedly, because of that, the highest I feel I can give this episode is a 7, but right up until that final match, I would have probably have been on board with giving it an 8. The opening segment involving Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and the Don Callis family is one of the best openings to Dynamite ever. The crowd were loud and energetic, and the action was amazing. This right here is exactly what AEW needs right now. Harley Cameron is a national treasure and television gold. The Hurt Syndicate continue to be excellent.. Everything flowed really nicely, despite last minute changes due to travel issues as a result of the storms. The Deathriders rubbish is really dragging AEW down though and I don't know why Cope is just not clicking, besides the obvious (his age and his new name sucks), but he just isn't. The company needs to stop being so stubborn and either fast forward through their plans for the Deathriders storyline and get to the end, or change their plans completely and pivot."

The main event dragged and felt like a 1980s WWF house show match, where the priority wasn't quality but hitting a time cue. MJF-Jarrett is a very odd direction, and feels like an over use of a successful midcarder. Nothing beyond the opening segment really grabbed me on this show."

A fine yet predictable match between Swerve and AR Fox. Hangman squash match followed by Christopher Daniels announcing his retirement. More story build between Jeff Jarrett and MJF, while JJ gets into it with Claudio. Didn't like Julia Hart losing, but it appears they are setting up a trilogy between her and Hayter. Looks as if Malikai Black is gone, and the HOB is moving forward without him, and a new name. Harley Cameron challenges Mone for the TBS title at Grand Slam, which Mone declines. Harley has been the workhorse of the women's division. She has helped put over so much talent, and she has hilarious promos. Hope it pays off for her at some point. Over-pushed Cope defeats overrated Pac in the main event. Bonus point for Jay White getting involved after the match."

I feel bad for Private Party having to get leveled (and yes that is the point for sympathy), but you had to have the Hurt Syndicate go over there. They are so over with the live crowds and looked like absolute studs last night. Hayter/Hart was really good as was Swerve/Fox. The Ricochet promo was great... again. I'm so pleasantly surprised by his character work. Highlight of the show for me after the opener was the Hangman/CD segment. Hangman is the most captivating wrestler going right now IMO. Sadly, the ending sucked but the main event was otherwise a solid match. Had the ending been good, it's an easy 9/10 show."

In fact, in this episode of Dynamite pretty much everything worked well apart from the Death Riders storyline. I think that has already everyone. Please give the title to Hangman, he is by far the best developed character in the whole roster, the psychological evolution that he has had in the last 18 months is astonishing. He deserves more."

After that we got the hurt syndicate win those tag titles off of private party which i didn't personally like but I felt was necessary because PP's reign was so so bad and mainly because of the booking, then we got an okay match between swerve and ar fox and a continuation of the ricochet feud, After that we got a typical MJF promo but was then interrupted by Hangman? really interested to see where this goes, Hangman then squashed some guy with a basic lariat which i admit popped me, After that CD came out and basically confronted Hangman asking him if he's happy that he killed his career, feels like Hangman is turning face soon. Everything after that was really bad."

Finally, some semblance of continuity in AEW. 2) First of all, I'm glad Private Party brought back their new theme. It's just that they can't hold on to the Tag Team Championchip every time they use it. Anyway, The Hurt Syndicate literally rolled over the champions without breaking the sweat, and just like that, the AEW Tag Team division looks legitimate again. 3) How long we haven't seen AR Fox? Since July 2023, before the first All In? Glad to see him back, he's a phenomenal wrestler. 4) I'm happy to see PAC in the main event. It was a good main event, I don't understand why people didn't like it. While I enjoyed the episode, it has come to my attention that we didn't see much of great wreslting here, which is forgivable for WWE, but not for AEW."

The tag title match sucks for Private Party but they never had an actually good match unless the Bucks were there to guide them through, and Hurt Syndicate are good business with the live crowd. Other positives include the Hangman segment, a wonderful bit of character work there between Hanger and Daniels. The ladies backstage segments shined, as did Ricochet. The bad: Jeff Jarrett continues to eat up screen time. MJF is just sort of floating adrift atm. The Death Riders are awful. Moxley has completely killed any interest I had in him, he's so painfully one dimensional."

[4.0] "Other than the opening segment between Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay and the Don Callis Family, nothing on this show was particularly interesting to me and even during that segment, the cameraman largely missed Kenny's moonsault. Usually, even when the stories are not clicking, AEW delivers matches with high in-ring action but for this was not the case for this show as it featured a bunch of painfully average matches (two borderline squash and one literal squash) with several 'geriatric' wrestlers stealing TV time from younger talent. But that main event was something else. First 10 minutes of that match was literal Chinese water torture, with the artist formerly known as Edge doing nothing but lying on the floor, selling his surgically repaired neck. Post-match angle was played out and predictable Death Riders slop. I guess our only hope regarding the AEW world title scene is Darby's return from Himalayas."

[4.0] "This started with a hot opening segment designed to "Restore the feeling" - and did a reasonably good job of that. Then Private Party were put out of their misery in a match which saw their opponents largely destroy them. I think this is one of those cases where the champs getting destroyed isn't all that bad and adds a little more shock to the title change. I also don't hate the Jarrett stuff so far and thought they did a good job of recovering from Jarrett, as the babyface, getting a little too personal with the heel last week. Match-wise, it was almost all downhill after the opener. When I think of classic AEW, I think of a company which can get you excited in the opening minutes of an episode and then leave you wondering why you bothered by the final. In that respect, this really was a classic episode of Dynamite. I hope they can find a way to keep momentum throughout an episode because the past few have left me cold."

[8.0] "A very good Dynamite, shaking off the post-Worlds End's cobwebs with a sense of purpose. The opening segment was brilliant, but of course it was, it's Ospreay and Omega. Hangman segment was incredibly good too; I'm all for him adopting the Angel's Wings as a finisher, and I'm all for the way they're going to slow-burn him back to face. Stuff like this typifies the really good nature of the first 1 hour and 40 minutes that I think very few will complain about, before we get to the obligatory Death Riders segment, and your enjoyment of the last twenty minutes goes hand in hand with how much you can tolerate the Death Riders. And at this point, I'm really not opposed to the current story being told in this PPV cycle. But I am at the point where "pivot" is going to join words like "cinema" and "aura" that I never want to hear from the IWC ever again. We're still in, to borrow a term, probably the fourth or fifth inning when it comes to the Death Riders, and this is a fine performance for such an inning. It would do nobody any favours to be sprinting for the finish just for the instant gratification. As it is, three weeks out from Australia and six weeks out from Revolution, it's a perfectly fine as a story beat."

"This kicked off with an explosive segment as Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega came face-to-face in the ring. Ospreay admitted he couldn't defeat The Don Callis Family alone and asked Kenny for his help. Kenny, still skeptical, said he didn't trust Will, but before things escalated further, Callis interrupted. Kenny chased Callis, only to be ambushed by the Family. Ospreay came to Kenny's aid, sparking an all-out brawl that spilled into the crowd and backstage, with incredible spots like a dive from the stands that earned "holy shit" chants. The chaos ended with Kenny and Will standing tall. Kenny apologized, accepted Ospreay's help, and challenged Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita to a tag match alongside Ospreay. What an electric way to start the show! Next, a promo package hyped up Pac, who was set to face Cope in the main event. This was followed by a backstage promo from Mox and the Death Riders, who warned Cope that his time was over. While solid, it wasn't particularly memorable. The AEW World Tag Team Title match saw The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) defeat Private Party (Quen & Zay) in a thrilling bout. Both teams delivered big moments, including Lashley spinebustering Zay through the announce table. The nearfalls kept the crowd on edge, and the finish solidified Lashley and Benjamin as a dominant force in the division. Jeff Jarrett then addressed the crowd, reflecting on his mistakes in stooping to MJF's level last week. He called out AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, but Claudio Castagnoli interrupted, attacking Jeff from behind. Claudio declared that no one gets to Mox without going through him. Jeff fired back with a challenge: if he beats Claudio next week, he gets a title shot. Claudio accepted, and the segment ended with tension brewing. Swerve defeated AR Fox in a fun match that included Ricochet appearing to distract Swerve, leading to a fantastic nearfall. Post-match, Ricochet threatened Prince Nana on the big screen, holding a pair of scissors to his neck, promising payback. The Learning Tree's New York Minute segment featured Big Bill challenging Powerhouse Hobbs to a fight. It was brief but set the stage for their upcoming clash. MJF then delivered another excellent promo, this time taking shots at Jeff Jarrett, claiming pro wrestling no longer loves him. Anytime MJF grabs a mic, it's gold. Hangman Page followed with a quick squash victory over Tyler Shoop, dismantling him post-match with Christopher Daniels' finishing move. Daniels came out, announcing his doctor's advice to retire and saying he didn't want to fight Hangman but just wanted to be his friend. This emotional moment added depth to Hangman's darker character. Jamie Hayter defeated Julia Hart in a solid match that showcased Julia's potential. Post-match, Hayter grabbed the mic and showed respect to Julia. Backstage, Hobbs told Big Bill to meet him in the parking lot, while Swerve told Ricochet about their match two weeks from now. The main event saw Cope defeat Pac in a strong, competitive match. Afterward, the Death Riders appeared on the screen, brutalizing Cope's allies before coming out to attack him. Jay White attempted to save Cope but got overwhelmed as the Death Riders closed out the show in dominant fashion. Overall, this was a solid episode of Dynamite with great in-ring action, fiery promos, and plenty of storyline progression. Highlights included the Ospreay/Omega brawl, the tag title match, and the continued tension with Moxley's group."

"A big improvement from last week, for the first hour and 40 minutes. The opening segment was incredible, with a lot of energy and star power form everyone involved. Kenny and Ospreay had a good exchange of words, the brawl with the Don Callis Family was well executed (the moonsaults looked amazing! ) and the crowd was on fire - oh, and Kenny is afraid of heights. One of the best opening segments of Dynamite ever! The Hurt Syndicate looked absolutely dominant in their Tag Team title win, Toni Strom and Harley Cameron were super funny, Jeff Jarrett tried to mend fences with the crowd, Swerve and Ricochet keep heating up, we got a tease for Hangman vs MJF, Christopher Daniels played his role in Hangman's self-reflection and Hayter vs Julia was a better match than their first one. Pretty much everything up to here was great quality television - the main event, unfortunately, not so much. Cope and PAC had quite a long, boring match that ended flat to me, which was enough to deflate my energy and excitement. The post-match stuff was good and made sense, and I like the fact that everyone is gunning for Moxley, including Jay White. Overall, a better episode than the previous weeks, I hope they keep up the pacing and storyline development we've seen here."

Good continuation of the build for Strickland vs Ricochet ahead of their match in 2 weeks in Atlanta. Brody King/Buddy Matthews/Julia Hart video package was interesting to see where they go without Malakai Black. Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin vs Quen & Zay: Private Party losing their titles made sense as Hurt Syndicate were dominant here, Zay going through the table was worked well even when he made the save when he jumped in the ring to stop the pin attempt, should have been longer though [***]. Swerve Strickland vs AR Fox: Strickland has learned how to pace his matches on TV, so the match flowed the right amount, Fox got some offense in which was good to see, wish they had a bit longer though [***]. Adam Page vs Tyler Shoop: A less than 20 second squash match that Page got the win obviously [DUD]. Jamie Hayter vs Julia Hart: Better than their previous match, they showed a bit more within this one, Hayter winning made sense to warrant a rubber match between these two [***]. Cope vs PAC: Cope did show signs of slowing down, PAC was a solid opponent for Cope, Cope did sell his neck at times worked well and the match did show signs of being quite solid, don't think it needed the 18 minutes [***1/2]"

And if you cared about any of the angles leading to these matches, you would be incredibly disappointed what resulted from your investment. This is AEW right now. Even the after match was corny, the Death Riders story ain't working, I'm at a point where a Christian Cage cash in any week wouldn't bother me. Ospreay & Omega are the real deal currently, that opener segment was really good! I think they could have wait Revolution for that tag match, because Konosuke Takeshita could have defend and drop the International title to Buddy Matthews in Australia instead. But still, that's a great tag match for Grand Slam. The rest of the show was also good until the main event, Hurt Syndicate needed that victory honestly, they're on fire, Private Party did good and they deserved the championships in the first place, but man Shelton Benjamin in particular look like a beast in the ring! Good match with Swerve/AR Fox to build that Ricochet feud, great character development with Hangman as always. MJF did good, that's impressive tbh because he's trying to hype a feud with Jeff Jarrett in big 2025. I hope the Hurt Syndicate can inject some much-needed energy into the entire division, but it's awfully sad that it came at the expense of Private Party, who had a huge, long-awaited win yet somehow ended up having one of the most forgettable runs ever, with bare minimum defenses. People didn't even try to rally for them during the match. It makes things even worse that their music got mixed up(? ). Hayter/Hart was a better follow-up to their recent match, but it's still pointless besides the whole "you are 1, I am 1, let's meet up sometime later" schtick and the whole innuendo that Malakai is gone. Swerve vs AR was fun, despite being a throwaway match. Ricochet is actually doing solid heel work despite being a face for over a decade. I hope the whole Jarrett-MJF angle will pay off because they keep getting TV time every week. Daniels confronting Page to announce his retirement was alright; he seemed distressed. The main event was boring, and I'm getting sick of the Death Riders beating up everyone with an agenda that nobody knows about. Then Jay White tries to make a save and they lose to the numbers again--how genius. It's also noteworthy that the whole Death Riders vs AEW got flushed down the toilet. As much as the whole Death Riders storyline became stale quickly, I still find the Don Callis Family entertaining, and the opening sequence was one of the best ever--two men coming off stacked odds. That's how you should do it. If it was not for that I'd rate it a 6 even a 5."

AEW is building up things really well so far, I'm surprised Swerve/Ricochet doesn't have a gimmick tied to it but maybe we'll get that in the rematch down the line. Hangman and MJF tease is just... yes. Hayter and Hart's match was tonnes better than their one on Julia's return."

"One of the best openings in dynamite history, ospreay and omega absolutely rock and the tag should be a heater. Hurt Business rules. Swerve v Ricochet works. Giving TV time to Hangman is always a good idea Death Riders and Jeff Jarrett are truly unfortunate storylines that should be moved on from as soon as possible"

Other stories haven't worked out for months like Death Riders, but Jeff Jarret with two arcs and going for the world title is unacceptable."

"[5.8]war so eine mittelmäßige Ausgabe von dynamite, omega/ospreay war eine spitzen promo, freu mich schon auf das Match. Die hounds of hell sind nun auf sich selbst gestellt, das wird hart für die anderen teams. Cope vs pac war als mainer ganz gut, mit dem passenden Sieger Hurt syndicate haben sich den Titel verdient"
