[7.0] "I think it was a good event. The best matches was the main event and Taichi and Michinoku vs Henare and O'khan and both was good enough."

[4.0] "Incredibly dull show, there is literally only one decent match and one good match but other than that this was absolutely boring. I get that the undercard always sucks but man half of the 2 v 2 tag matches was also bad. Just take a look at the main-event. *3/4"

[5.0] "Daiki Nagai vs Masatora Yasuda: A pretty basic young lions match on the pre show that was of usual basic standard, the time limit draw being not surprising [**]. Callum Newman, Jakob Austin Young & Jeff Cobb vs Alex Zayne, Katsuya Murashima & Ryusuke Taguchi: An average undercard match to preview the WTL match between Newman & Cobb vs Zayne & Taguchi, nothing memorable happened [*3/4]. Chase Owens, KENTA & Taiji Ishimori vs Gabe Kidd, Gedo & SANADA: A boring match, typical BC tactics were used, did not interest me and certainly did not hype me up for the WTL match this match previewed [DUD]. BUSHI, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji vs Hirooki Goto, Shoma Kato & YOSHI-HASHI: A somewhat decent preview match, LIJ and Bishamon had their moments in this one, BUSHI submitting Kato was a fine way to end it [**1/2]. Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr vs Shota Umino, Tiger Mask & Tomoaki Honma: The best preview match of the show, ZSJ and Umino continue to have an interesting build to not only Wrestle Kingdom but also for WTL, TMDK getting the win here was good to see, the others involved did what they needed to [***]. Stevie Filip & Tome Filip vs Hiroshi Tanahashi & Jado: Classic example of how much of a decline Tanahashi and Jado are in 2024, the match was underwhelming unfortunately [*3/4]. Taichi & TAKA Michinoku vs Great O-Khan & HENARE: GOK and HENARE are showing solid chemistry even though they have not been teaming for long, Taichi and TAKA gave a good showing even getting a surprise win here when Taichi pinned GOK [***1/4]. EVIL & Ren Narita vs Boltin Oleg & Toru Yano: Did not like this match, HoT tactics ruined this one, the ref bump was not necessary [DUD]. Hiromu Takahashi & Tetsuya Naito vs Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste: MOTN, Hiromu and Naito did well against a more established team in Nicholls and Haste, the action was solid and enjoyable [****]"

[3.0] "One of the worst New Japan shows I have ever seen. This World Tag League has started incredibly dull and there looks little potential for it to get any better as it progresses."

[5.0] "Boring and uneventful show. Two tournament bouts ain't shit, two are average for this tournament and an average undercard. Show as a whole is average at best"

[5.0] "An alright night of action with some low lows and decent enough highs with two of the four tournament matches really living up to expectations, it was just a shame the other two tournament bouts were a blight on the card. Probably not a card I would recommend watching throughout, maybe instead just watch LIJ vs Bishamon + Kato, TMDK vs Hontai, J4G vs UE and TMDK vs LIJ as they were the highlights of the card and are all at least worth a watch. MOTN was probably J4G vs UE as it had a great ending and some really solid action beforehand. Overall a bang average tour card."
