[8.0] "Enjoyable episode of Collision. Liked the opener with my guy Lance Archer in action, and enjoyed the Lucha Brothers mix it up with the Gunns. Awesome Four-Way Match and an excellent main event. Although favorite match of the night was Mariah May chalking up a win."

[5.0] "This managed to be what AEW should never be: boring. Nothing that happened here really mattered, and most of the matches didn't even manage to be fun. Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. the Righteous and Lance Archer was one of the better matches of the night, managing to be enjoyable despite Tanahashi's knees attempting to ruin everything. The Lucha Bros vs. the Gunns was less exciting than I had hoped. Hopefully, the put on a better show at Double or Nothing. Kyle O'Reilly squashed KM to get his momentum back. the four-way between the House of Black, the Acclaimed, the Infantry and Gates of Agony lowered itself to the Infantry's level, rather than elevating them. Layla Hirsch finally started to look like her old self in a loss to Mariah May. Finally, Bryan Danielson and FTR took on Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Satnam Singh in the match of the night."

[5.0] "The story progression for this episode was really well done and we had some game-changing segments for some feuds but good lord this match card was underwhelming. Mediocre match after mediocre match after mediocre match. Their has to be something noteworthy! Let's talk about the segments. The opening with Takeshita injuring Moxley was good and really set up a win for Takeshita, oh wait he lost! WHAT THE HELL? Willow's promo against Mercedes was damn good and Copeland's promos always hit. 5.5/10"

[5.0] "This show was very mediocre as a go home show to the PPV. None of the matches left the 6 range to me, but, likewise, none fell below the 5 range for me. Overall, a very consistently mediocre show. [MOTN: The Gunns vs. The Lucha Brothers]"

[8.0] "Pretty good go-home show for Double or Nothing, the matches themselves were nothing special, but still fun. Lots of great promos and video packages to tie in to the PPV coming up the next day."

[6.0] "[6.1] One of the go-home shows of all time. Not awful by any means, but not a single standout match on this show. Fun surprise with Tana appearing, but that's just about the biggest thing on the show."

[7.0] "For a two hour block of television, there are worse cards you can put on. As a go-home show 24 hours before a major PPV, youre not going to get the dazzling heights, but neither were there any deep depths in this show either. It was just solid, consistent - if pedestrian - wrestling."

[7.0] "Very solid traditional go home show, with one quite bad match dragging it down. Let's be up front, this show is more about promoting the PPV than trying to be the best show possible. There was a lot more time given to promos and video packages than usual, and several of them were quite good. Osprey, Willow, and Ton Storm had strong promos. The Young Bucks propaganda video was fantastic. Delusional narcissists with delusions of grandeur is the right direction for these characters, not wielding on-screen authority. The opener was fun, and luckily Tana did more dancing than wrestling. Lucha Bros Gunns was a fine TV match, as was Mariah May Hirsch. The 4-way was a train wreck. The Acclaimed are well past their sell by date, and actively bring down matches at this point. And the Infantry came back to TV, which is never OK. They are wretched, useless, clumsy, no talent hacks. Multiple times in this match they were out of position, and interrupted sequences. A 4-way tag match is inherently silly, and needs to be a spot-fest to be any good. You can't do that when half the teams have no good spots, and one of them can't even take moves properly. That leaves the main event, which was your traditional fun Collision tag, with a really good showing from team TNA. Nice to see them get a little 2 week arc after being off TV for a while. That's a good pattern for them."

[5.0] "Pretty meh episode of Collision with a lot of filler and quite skippable. Jon Moxley and Don Callis opened up the show with a promo: Callis asked Mox to join the Family but Moxley said he wanted to give Callis 24 more stitches in his head so Takeshita came out and attacked him. DG, Claudio and Tanahashi vs. Righteous and Archer was a fine opener. Tanahashi is washed but I'll never not pop for him when I see him. Lucha Bros vs. The Gunns was alright, cool to the Lucha Bros back in action as a duo. Willow Nightingale cut a pretty solid promo before her match against Mercedes at DoN. The four way tag was bad, I didn't like it at all. All over the place and badly put together. Fire post-match by Adam Copeland, though. Him teasing Buddy and Brody joining him was cool. May vs. Hirsch was fine. Mariah is awesome. FTR and Danielson vs. TEAM TNA was the best match of the night, pretty fun main event. Overall: skippable for the most part but nothing was truly bad outside of the four way. There were also a couple of fire backstage promos here and there like the Ospreay one or the Toni Storm one."
