[5.0] "A lot of the undercard tags as well as the first NJC match fell somewhat flat for me, although Gabe vs Shingo was great"

[6.0] "This was a decent card all things considered. Almost every match fell on the average side, except the main event, which was good, but not something I'd urge anyone to seek out. I imagine would have been a pretty great live experience for a smaller show like this. [MOTN: Gabe Kidd vs. Shingo Takagi]"

[4.0] "The quality of the shows is always. The undercard was a bit better than usual but the sami main-event sucked, luckly the main-event was truly a banger but the rest is obviously weak. There are some interesting matches ahead, ELP vs Tsuji could be surprisingly good. **1/4"

[7.0] "A nice show, we're still in that phase of the tournament where we get smaller crowds in smaller markets to give some opportunities for younger wrestlers or lower card guys to get that experience of wrestling in semi-main or main events. The multi-tags did their job and some of them teased the next New Japan Cup matches pretty well. The 2 key matches on the card delivered. It was well balanced, both had an experienced guy working with a younger wrestler. One match more focused on leg work and the usual House Of Torture antics to keep Hikuleo strong in defeat and a hard hitting main event that felt more like a brawl."

[6.0] "Great O-Khan & Jeff Cobb vs Tomoaki Honma & Toru Yano: A match that had no stakes involved that was of an average standard, nothing memorable happened here, Cobb and O-Khan were the obvious winners here [*]. Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI vs Callum Newman, Francesco Akira & TJP: A standard undercard multi man match, Callum Newman getting pinned again is not surprising [*3/4]. Jack Perry & Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs Ryusuke Taguchi & Shota Umino: The match was somewhat not good to be honest, this did just not pique my interest as normal with HoT matches on this tour [*]. Just 5 Guys vs BULLET CLUB: Another average house show standard multi man match, everyone did what they should have done, DOUKI getting the win was good to see [*3/4]. TMDK vs Ren Narita & Yujiro Takahashi: This went longer than I expected it to especially for HoT, okay preview for the upcoming Ren Narita vs Zack Sabre Jr match this coming Friday [**]. Los Ingobernables de Japon vs El Desperado, El Phantasmo, Tanga Loa, Togi Makabe: A decent preview for El Phantasmo vs Yota Tsuji coming up this coming Friday, their respective partners in this match did their parts well, the best multiman match on the card [***]. EVIL vs Hikuleo: Not a bad match at times, but when HoT got involved it did ruin things, and the ref bumps were not needed, towards the end there was a melee between HoT and GOD/Main Unit guys which was should not have happened, EVIL winning was somewhat obvious [*]. Shingo Takagi vs Gabe Kidd: Despite the match taking its time to actually get started with the brawl on the outside before the bell even rang, it was a decent match, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, a great performance from Gabe Kidd, and Shingo Takagi brought out the best in Gabe Kidd [****1/4]"
