Anschließend gab es ein nettes Interview mit Britt Baker, die als Face aber weiterhin deutlich weniger interessant ist als zu ihren Heelzeiten. Allgemein rutscht sie nicht unberechtigt immer mehr in Richtung Midcard. Da QTV Segment war okay. Johnny TV ist schon unterhaltsam, Cameron sowieso. The Kingdom vs. Daniels und Sydal war technisch deutlich besser als der Opener, aber irgendwie hab ich überhaupt keinen Zugang zu dem Match gefunden. Im Aftermath gab es eine akzeptable In-Ring Promo von The Kingdom in Richtung Cole und MJF um sich als Contender für die ROH Tag Titel zu positionieren. Das Interview mit Swerve, Nana und Brian Cage war aber noch ein bisschen unterhaltsamer. The Acclaimed squashen dann The Outrunners und Peter Avalon in einem zumindest etwas witzigen 3-Minuten Match. Im Aftermath positionieren sich die Dark Order als Contender für die Trios Championship. Das geht absolut in Ordnung, da die Dark Order zumindest wieder etwas an Fahrt aufgenommen hat. Das Segment war durchaus unterhaltsam. Im Anschluss machen Aussie Open kurzen Prozess mit zwei Jobbern. Statlander vs. Cargill war klar das Highlight der Show und mein MotN. Cargills letztes Match bei AEW war auch mindestens eines ihrer besten. Satlander bekommt endlich ihren cleanen Sieg, um sich weiter als TBS Champ zu festigen. |

Vor allem natürlich solange die Lucha Bros im Ring waren. Aber trotzdem war es irgendwie ganz unterhaltsam. Das Kingdom gegen Daniels &Sydal war auch ganz ok. Alles nichts was lange in Erinnerung bleibt aber auch nichts schlechtes. Die Acclaimed sind mittlerweile so langweilig geworden. Im Ring bis auf Bowens eh nicht wirklich gut. Da fandich in diesem kurzen Match die Gegner wirklich spannender. Aussie Open holen sich einen schnellen Sieg. MOTN war dann natürlich der Main Event. Cargill letztes Match für AEW war auch ihr bestes und ehrlich gesagt auch das einzig gute das in Erinnerung bleibt. Guter und wichtiger Sieg für Kris. Sie bleibt Champion was auch gut ist. Match hat mir gefallen und läßt einem mit einem positiven Gefühl für die Show zurück. |

The Kingdom vs. Daniels & Sydal was okay and the post-match promo was cool. The Acclaimed's squash was alright and the post-match challenge by Dark Order was good. Aussie Open squash was okay. Statlander vs. Cargill was a really good match, the best match in Jade's carrer and Statlander's best title defense so far. If this is Jade's last match in Aew she at least delivered a great final perfomance. |

| 55 | 16.09.2023 | Nevermore42 | 6.0 | This was a very Rampage episode of Rampage. It was pilled with fairly average matches, that managed to make for a fun hour of wrestling. We open with the team of the Hardys and the Lucha Brothers taking on Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, the Butcher, and the Blade. This was a fun match, and the number of people involved allowed them to hide the Hardy's weaknesses. I especially appreciated that Alex Abrahantes got to have a spot. We then got the the Kingdom taking on Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydel to celebrate Neck Health Awareness Month. This was another fun little match. Daniels looked much better than the last time I saw him. The Acclamed and Daddy Ass then beat the Outrunners and "Pretty" Peter Avalon just to set up a feud with the Dark Order. We then got Aussie Open getting some momentum back as they beat a pair of jobbers in under a minute. This would have been better if the Acclaimed match wasn't right before it. Finally we got the easy match of the night as Kris Statlander defended her title against Jade Cargill. This was easily Jade's best match of her career. It's just too bad that it happened right as she's rumoured to be leaving. |
| 56 | 16.09.2023 | charliefiction | 6.0 | The first two matches were filled with some surprisingly solid wrestling (and I was especially surprised by the Kingdom's tag match -- but Sydal always delivers crisp stuff, so maybe I should've expected it). The middle third dragged a bit, and felt a little phoned-in. A couple of angles/stories advanced nicely through promos and pre-tapes (Britt vs Stat, Kingdom vs Cole), but the Dark Order fell a little flat (despite Uno's best efforts to save it). The Righteous confronting the Hardys on the ramp was also a little unclear. The Main Event was very enjoyable, and a great defense for Statlander's reign. Jade might benefit from more training/reps, but her power-based offense and agility looks so good. She'll do great in WWE. |

Der Sieg von Statlander ist logisch und gleichzeitig konnte sich Cargill nochmal mit einem ihrer besten Matches bei AEW wahrscheinlich verabschieden. Die restlichen Matches waren okay bis passabel. Das beste war, dass The Kingdom klar ihre Ambitionen auf die ROH World Tag Team Championship bekannt gemacht hat. Das macht absolut Sinn. Britt positionierte sich während der Show für ein TBS Championship Match, welches bei Collision stattfinden wird. Swerve, Cage und Prince Nana forderten den Hangman und die Bucks zu einem Trios Match bei Grand Slam gegen Cage und die Gates of Agony heraus, welches wohl bei Rampage stattfinden wird. Dazu gab es noch ein kurzes Segment mit QTV, welches aber nicht weiter besonders war. Die Dark Order geht dann noch gegen The Acclaimed. |
