We got an awesome opener in Punk/Garcia with a brilliant limb selling from Punk, and an equally masterful limb work by Garcia. A solid Lucha Bros semi-squash, and a fun Philly Street Fight to close it off. Hell of a way to spend an hour here."

Punk and Garcia delivering the hot opener like everytime as Lucha Bros gave The Acclaimed a good showcase and finally, Starks had the time of his like against Cage, who can be the first man to leave the AEW ship, his run sucks, he's just have been a powerhouse for Team Taz for the time Hobbs was built for it."

Other than that there was just the one promo with Lio Rush and his new clients of Dante Martin and Matt Sydal which was brief and also mostly nothing, but Punk vs. Sydal next week should be great. Much like last week, just watch the first match and then go find something else to do. Gotta give props to AEW though for having almost 50% more actual wrestling than that night's Smackdown in an episode half the length."

Also, bringing back the piledriver and the Anaconda Vice was great, gave some substance to this episode. And overall, the pace was great? I was especially surprised by how good the main event is. Now, I hope both Ricky and Cage will go to do better things!"

Both teams are always a pleasure to watch, but I wish this had been a more substantial match with more build-up. Still, what we got was perfectly fine. Cargill's squash match was very well done. The main event got really good in its closing stretch, but there were a few moments that dragged just a little, and the lack of heat for this programme definitely wasn't aided by the match's structure. Fun episode, a good way to spend an hour."

[6.0] "What I liked about this episode is that it didn't feel front-loaded, even with Punk in the opener. Most other episodes have felt quite skippable after the first 20-minutes or so but this did just about all you can do with an hour of wrestling and didn't feel like filler. Cargill had another match designed to hide her weaknesses and build her status, and some of the action across the card could have done with a little tightening, but all in all this actually felt like something complimentary to Dynamite and not something a step or more below it. A move in the right direction, in my opinion. This is pretty much what I want from this show."

[7.0] "Pretty good episode all things considered. Garcia really brought it to Punk and worked the leg well, they had really good ring awareness/psychology, and Punk did the fucking Piledriver (***1/4+). Acclaimed really impressed against the Lucha Bros, they had a ton of urgency to try and steal a win from the champs but lacked the experience and continuity of the brothers which caught up to them (***1/4). Cargill vs Blue was a squash. Starks vs Cage was a solid plunder brawl although not a lot happens and I feel like they didn't need to protect Cage THAT much; biggest plus in the match was hearing Taz call Hobbs & Hook on commentary (**3/4+). Commentary was fun all night honestly, Jericho & Taz are funny without killing the match's vibe."
