[6.0] "Average AEW show. This promotion used to have great matches every week, but it seems the quality is starting to nosedive in recent months here. The SuperKliq match was the best, even if it was just very good. I'm not sure if I'll ever catch up on this promotion since from all accounts it just keeps getting worse."
[6.0] "Very average show, the only good matches IMO were the first two matches and it was downhill after that. As for the segments and wrestling-exclusive content, I despised the idea of advancing a Nyla/Jade storyline. Jade is a walking botch machine and Nyla despite having the talent fails to channelize it almost every time. HFO gives me migraines, such a stupid idea the faction as a whole. Also, I noticed that all the matches, yes all of the 6 matches had run-ins or outside interferences one way or another. I despise the duo of Ford/Bunny as it leads to nothing and its useless imo. The booking was off color too and the pre-main event promo was all over the place. Despite the many negatives, there were some positives such as Homicide's appearance, Miro's assault on Sammy and Fuego was great and makes sense for the brute to take a swing at him before their title match and also because he's furious for the disrespect leveled at him. Matt cut a good promo shifting all burden on Evans along with the fear of losing his hair. Andrade vignette was nice where he explained exactly the reasons for disbanding his partnership with Chavo and issuing a rematch to PAC because of the pride he has, he refuses to cheat and wants to win fair and square. Those are morals, an interesting character indeed. It was great to see the MMA guys too and hopefully, it gives AEW the much needed coverage and popularity among casual audience which can boost the ratings."
[6.0] "Ich erkenne an, dass die athletische Leistung von Performern wie den Young Bucks oder den Lucha Dragons ihresgleichen sucht, aber ich verliere bei diesen Multi Men Tag Team Matches, in denen jeder gleichzeitig im Ring zu sein scheint, sehr schnell den Überblick und habe demnach keinerlei emotionale Verbundenheit mit diesen Matches. Es wirkt schnell wie ein langes Feuerwerk an perfekten, aber unübersichtlichen Moves, die mich kalt lassen. Abgesehen davon, haben viele der Matches vor allem ein gutes Build up und sind aus diesem Grund interessant, ohne dass sie aber wirklich starke Performances wären. Punk-Hobbs gehört dazu, ebenso wie Jericho & Hager gegen Page & Sky. Dass das Match zwischen Penelope Ford und Anna Jay in der Werbung endet und auch danach nicht nochmal wenigstens das Finish gezeigt oder erwähnt wird, ist äußerst unglücklich. Suzuki & Archer gegen Moxley & Kingston ist dann das typische No DQ Match, das man erwarten konnte. Generell brauche ich keine zweistündigen Ausgaben von Rampage in dieser Form. Mit einer Stunde ist das Format eigentlich trotz manchmal eher zweitrangiger Matches kurzweilig und unterhaltsam. Zwei Stunden reizen den Rahmen sehr stark aus."
[5.0] "Six Man Tag und der Main Event waren in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Hobbs war nicht gerade förderlich für das erste Match von Punk und die Damen hätte man sich lieber ganz sparen sollen."
[5.0] "The fans mostly kept the vibe going from Dynamite, but 2 hours of a taped wrestling show at that time isn't a fun watch. No sir, i don't like it. Actually, you can go so far as to say it sucked. There were like over 30 min. of commercials or something; one hour of Rampage is a better look. I felt bad for the women in that environment; it was not good -- the lights-out match I thought looked trashy especially for a main event -- the MMA stuff is still hot garbage.... I forgot about the Homicide appearance. The crowd seemed to pop, but it fell flat for me. Just a random "indy legend" showing up for a minute in the AEW sphere for no reason."
[7.0] "Rampage beginnt natürlich mit Punk, der sich auf dem Weg zum Ring macht, um auf Powerhouse Hobbs zu treffen. Definitiv ein interessantes Match, wenn man darüber Nachdenkt, was es alles für kranke Talente, die Wrestlerisch extrem stark sind, bei AEW überhaupt gibt, die man mit CM Punk in den Ring stecken kann. Match war in der Ausführung, aber dann nur Solide wie Ich finde. Powerhouse Hobbs hat natürlich noch extrem viel wo man aufbauen kann, aber auch Punk muss erstmal richtig wieder aus seinem Ruhestand erwachen (***). Six Man Tag Team Match zwischen Der Superkliq und dem Jurassic Express + Christian Cage war dann sehr Gut. Die Superkliq zusehen gibt mir eindeutig PWG Flashback's! (****). Die Storyline mit dem Inner Circle und den Men Of The Year + Den Ex-UFC'ern kann mich momentan noch nicht wirklich krass packen. Bin gespannt was so ein Jorge Masvidal, Junior Dos Santos und Co. Alles so im Wrestling Ring zeigen können. Match war Inordnung. Eight Man Tag Team Match zwischen den Lucha Bro's + Proud N' Powerful vs. HFO + Butcher & Blade war Gut! Weiß wirklich nicht warum das Match hier so schlecht weg kommt. Für mich definitiv so gut wie das Six Man Tag Team Match davor (****). Bin sehr gespannt auf das "Hair vs. Hair" Match zwischen Orange Cassidy & Jack Evans! Women's Match war Inordnung, aber Ich hab das Gefühl man sieht seit wochen nur Tay Conti + Anna Jay und The Bunny + Penelope Ford in der Women's Division in Action. Lights Out Match für mich dann das Match of the Night und das Homicide Debut war definitiv gut umgesetzt. Bin ehrlich gespannt ob es jetzt eine einmalige Sache gewesen ist oder Homicide öfters mit Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston bei AEW zusehen sein wird (****1/4). Insgesamt eine Gute AEW Rampage Special Episode."
[7.0] "Mit Punk vs. Hobbs begann Rampage mit einem recht guten Match, in dem CM Punk Hobbs ziemlich stark aussehen lassen hat. Dann kam mit dem 6 Man Tag mein MotN, ein richtig gutes spaßiges Match mit den richtigen Siegern. Mit Men of the Year vs. Inner Circle ging es gleich mit dem nächsten Match weiter. Da war das Aftermath deutlich unterhaltsamer als das Match, das war nicht mehr als ganz okay. Das 8 Man Tag Match im Anschluss hat mich aufgrund der HFO eigentlich gar nicht interessiert, hat aber ganz ordentlich abgeliefert. Das HFO Interview im Anschluss hätte ich jetzt auch nicht gebraucht, es geht ja eh nur darum, gegen wen die HFO als nächstes verliert. Samy Guevaras Auftritt wird in typischer Abrissbirnen Manier von Miro unterbrochen, sehr schön, vor allem als Fuego gefühlt durch die halbe Halle geworfen wurde. Andrade meldet sich per Video zu Wort, er gefällt mir aktuell ohne Manager besser, so auch hier. Penelope Ford vs. Anna Jay war dann keine Katastrophe, aber doch ziemlich schwach, da ging nicht viel zusammen. Aftermath machte natürlich im Bezug auf die Storyline Sinn und hat daher gepasst. Darauf folgte wie immer vor dem Main Event ein tolles Pre-Match Interview, dass Bock auf das Match macht. Der Main Event hat erst gar nicht gezündet bei mir, am Ende hat er mich dann doch noch gekriegt. Insgesamt war das eine gute Show, die nur von einer relativ schwachen Mittelphase etwas runtergezogen wurde, daher auch "nur" 7 Punkte"
[4.0] "Man merkt der Crowd an, dass Rampage Taping #3 des Tages war. Da ist dann doch ordentlich die Luft raus und die Show bietet auch wenig, damit sich etwas ändert. Wie schon in der Vorwoche hätte man nach dem Opener abschalten können und hätte im Endeffekt verpasst, wobei die allgemeine Meinung Match #2 deutlich höher einschätzt als ich. MOTN ist für mich Punk vs. Hobbs, wenngleich das Team Taz-Mitglied hier deutlich zeigt, dass er doch recht grün ist und nicht so recht weiß, wie er on top interessant arbeitet. Punk macht das gut und gibt ein paar feurige Face-Veteran Comebacks ab, aber so in Summe kommt das nicht in den ordentlichen Bereich. Das Promo-Video für Rose vs. Rosa ist okay. Match #2 liefert dann typische Young Bucks-Action mit dem Unterschied, dass der Gegner hier einen guten Showcase-Moment bekommt. Luchasaurus wird gut aufgebaut, bevor er den Pin frisst. Passt aber. Soldie Spotaction. Was dann im Anschluss gezeigt wird, ist schlichtweg zu wenig, um zu überzeugen. Maues Match. Im Anschluss etwas Post-Match-Heat der Faces und der Konter vom Ameircas Top Team. Ist mir alles nichts. Immer wieder zu geil, wann die AEW-Refs meinen, man könnte einen Kampf anläuten lassen. Nur die legalen Wrestler und neutrale Ecken my ass. So beginnt das Eight Man Tag Team Match halt direkt mit choreographiertem Kasperkram und so geht es weiter leider. Spotaction dünner als bei Match #2, keine Dramatik und die x-te Niederlage für das schwächste Heel-Stable weit und breit. Das Backstage-Interview im Anschluss ist dann auch einfach nur egal. Möge es endlich vorbei sein mit Hardy und OC. Bei Sammy und Miro bin ich auch nicht involviert, da FdS aus Auslöser irgendwie nicht mein Fall ist. Andrades Promo-Video hilft ihm auch nicht richtig. AEW entdeckt die Heel-Finishes. Okay so, aber Ford vs. Jay ist bis dahin auch einfach nicht gut. Dass Tay bei der Konstellation nicht am Ring ist, sondern erst das Post-Match-Heat-Segment beantwortet, fühlt sich wenig natürlich an. Nicht gut. Der Save der Dark Order für Anna ist dann ganz cool. Das Splitscreen-Interview ist keines und das Main Event enttäuscht dann leider auch. Immerhin Suzukis Entrances wurde wieder ganz gespielt. Archer als Teilzeit-Heel und seine ständigen Attacken gegen Ring-Personal ist albern und verpufft als Luftnummer. Passable Show, die im Endeffekt etwas zu aufgebläht ist und wenig interessante Substanz liefert."
[8.0] "Wegen der Länge wurde der VOD Content in zwei Folgen hochgeladen. In Folge 7 habe ich das Six Man Tag Team Match bewertet zu dem mehr im Guide. in Folge 7 war auch das Main Event Men Of The Year vs Inner Circle (***) und die Folge bekommt, 7 Punkte. In Folge 8 gab es den Rest und bekommt von mir, 8 Punkte."
[8.0] "Despite some sloppy moments, that was great. Starting was great as Punk made shine Hobbs as hell and Superkliq and J-E breaking the house down. Other matches were cool even if Jay vs. Ford kinda sucket. LOTT was great, such a good way to close this Arthur Ashe Stadium journey."
[6.0] "Mit CM Punk gegen Powerhouse Hobbs gab es einen mehr als anständigen Opener. Das folgende Tag Team Match war noch etwas besser! Inner Circle gegen Best Men war okay, das Eight Man Tag etwas besser und Miro danach standesgemäß. Andrades Promo wieder mal zum vergessen? genau wie das Damenmatch. Der Main Event war das auch okay, aber nicht mehr"
[7.0] "Wir sind bei Rampage Grand Slam. Eine Stunde mehr. Ich war gespannt und so ging es direkt mit Punk gegen Hobbs los. Das war als Opener gut gewählt, die Crowd war direkt drin und die beiden liefern sich auch ein gutes Match. Das Punk hier den Sieg einfährt war zwar klar aber trotzdem haben beide von dem Match profitiert. Viel wichtiger ist es ja auch das Punk seinen Ringrost ablegt und einfach mehr in den Ring steigt. Dafür war es gut. Es folgt mein MOTN. Das Trios Match zwischen der Elite und Cage + Express war wirklich gut. Tolles Wrestling, schnelle Action, gute Spots und der Sieg der Elite. Hat mir sehr gefallen als Fan solcher Matches. Gerade Jungle Boy konnte wieder glänzen hier. Das Match zwischen dem Circle und den Men of the Year war auch ganz gut. Page und Scorpio holen viel raus aus Jericho und Hager. Sieg war veridient und erstaunlicherweise hat mich das Aftermath mit den MMA Leuten auch nicht gestört. Das passte sogar ganz gut zu der Story. Das darauf folgende Atomicos Match war ok aber auch nicht mehr. Zu deutlich war die Überlegenheit von den Luchas und Ortiz/Santana. Würde mich sehr über eine Fehde der 2 Teams freuen. Das HFO war hier wirklich nur als Opfer da. Ford gegen Jay war wrestlerisch mehr so lala, aber die Story wurde da gut fortgesetzt. Die Story weiß zu gefallen, die Matches noch nicht. Der Main Event ist der zu erwartende Brawl. Hat mir gefallen, aber hatte man auch schön öfter. Trotzdem ein gutes Ende der Show. Gutes Rampage aber ich freue mich wenn man wieder auf eine Stunde zurückgeht."
[7.0] "Auch Rampage war gut und hatte e8niges zu bieten, konnte aber nicht ganz mit Dynamite Grand Slam mithalten, was aber völlig okay ist. Im Opener gibt es CM Punks erstes TV Match, was an sich schon bedeutend ist. War war ordentlich aber mit 1-2 unsauberen Aktionen. Allgemein war hier auch vin der Produktion nicht alles on point. Das 6 Man Tag Match war gut, das 8 Men Tag ganz nett und der Main Event auch wieder ziemlich gut. Lediglich Ford vs. Anna Jay fällt recht deutlich ab. Den beiden hat ziemlich das Timing gefehlt, sah alles etwas unglücklich aus."
[5.0] "there was some ok stuff on this, but a lot is throwaway, in what looked a decent card on paper never really delivered, the best match being the bucks/cole vs christian/jurassic, everything else under-delivered, Punk didn't look that great, but in fairness he's been away for a long time and Hobbs isn't very good so I'll give that a pass, Inner Circle vs Men Of The Year does nothing for me, am I interested in seeing a 50+ jericho facing some legit MMA fighters, absolutely not, the 8 man tag was ok but there was just so much going on, would of been better having a normal tag match, Penelope vs Anna was god awful, Anna has charisma but isn't very good and it really showed here, and the main event which should of been great was average at best, a disappointing show all in all, the only match I'd reccommend watching is the 6 man tag"
[6.0] "This show was OK, I guess. The best matches were just fine, where most of the rest was kind of mediocre, and the main event was awful. Seriously, this Moxley vs Japan thing that they have going on is yet to produce one single good match. The Elite storyline continues to evolve, and I think there are some bigger and better things yet to come, but we'll have to wait and see."
[7.0] "Auch hier sind die zwei Stunden sehr schnell vergangen. Die Matches waren, bis auf das Women's Match, solide bis gut, wobei das Trios Match schon herausstach. Wieder einmal eine gelungene Ausgabe von Rampage."
[3.0] "Let me get this out of the way first: I love Rampage, it's pretty much appointment viewing for me. Even if the matches don't deliver, the show's structure and length of an hour makes it an easy watch. This wasn't an easy watch. With double the length and - outside of a good trios match - nothing worth going out of your way to watch, this was a real slog to get through. And nothing screams death television quite like this American Top Team angle - having to watch Jake Hager wrestle is bad enough, watching bored MMA stars throw weak strikes is agony. I was looking forward to the Lights Out match but the whole thing was worked like a house show match. I'm begging you Tony, never expand Rampage beyond it's usual hour length ever again."
[5.0] "Another lacklustre macth in the main event slot for Grand Slam and a card plagued by intrusive ad breaks. Just about every match had an ad break which broke up the action - and when we came back, something else was happening, situations were reversed, people had escaped predicaments and so on. That kind of thing just can't be ignored, in my opinion. Do we just say, "Well, we didn't see all of the match so we'll just rate what we saw and act like the missing part didn't happen", or do we say "We didn't see all of the match and that's a fault. And who knows, they might have removed something terrible in that time." For me it's the latter. Ford vs Jay, for example, is listed here as being 6:48 long. 2 minutes and 15 seconds into the match Ford is choking Jay over the ropes and we cut to an advert which lasts 3 minutes and 40 seconds. When we come back, they're facing off in the ring in a 50/50 exchange. The match lasts another 1 minute and 50 seconds. So of that near 7-minute match, we see 4 minutes and 5 seconds of wrestling and 3 minutes and 40 seconds of adverts. It sounds so petty to add all of this stuff up but I don't think it can be overlooked. It can't for me. Thankfully the multiman tag matches and the opener weren't so bad but there's just too much missing from the in-ring action itself for this to be anything close to satsfactory for me. At times it feels like watching a clip show."
[7.0] "Night 1 was miles ahead but this was a good show. I especially liked the Superkliq match : Adam Cole and Luchasaurus were damn good. Most of the matches were also solid and the only bad match was the women's singles match. Main event was also good but the Homicide Debut didn't really feel exciting. Suzuki/ Archer should have won. All in all, it was a good show but not quite as great as the 1st night."
[8.0] "Fun show, though not as much as Dynamite. I enjoyed the opener and the main event a lot in particular, and the crowd was still pretty hot, though not crazy like they were for the earlier ones."
[4.0] "There was really nothing special about this Rampage. Every match had interference. Opening match was best match. Ending felt really dull. If this is how they'd fill two hours, then they should stick with one. AEW still has a cheating/interference problem and they're not improving. This is not the best version of AEW just because more notable wrestlers are here. Go back to clean matches or programs that lead to clean resolutions. This is getting ridiculous."
[6.0] "Solide Ausgabe aber kein Vergleich zur Dynamite Grand Slam Ausgabe. Klar wenn das absolut kalte Hardy Family Office wieder die meisten Spots in einer Ausgabe bekommen, kann das auch gar nichts werden. Punk gegen Hobbs war ein solides TV Match mit einer völlig ausreichenden Matchstory die ich wirklich schlau fand, nichts wildes aber auch weit weg von langweilig. Selbiges gilt auch für das Lights Out, wo ich vielleicht etwas zu viel erwartet habe und so das gezeigte mir etwas zu wenig war. Klassischer Fall von "overhyped" anscheinend. Crowd war nach einem langen Abend auch dementsprechend etwas ausgelaugt, Hometown Hero (und einer meiner All Time Faves) Homicide hat die Crowd dann nochmal kurz zum Leben erweckt... Aber wirklich nur kurzzeitig. Alles in allem ein anständiger Abend!"
[9.0] "Being there live, this was better than Dynamite in the sense that all the matches were different and they delivered and they managed to keep that crowd raucous after 4 hours where Bryan-Omega was the opener. Nothing was godlike here, but every match was good, even Penelope and Anna Jay surprisingly. A job well done."
[5.0] "Not as good as I hoped it was but most of the matches were still pretty solid. The 8-Man tag match was pretty fun as you can expect from large tag matches in AEW."
[7.0] "Not as great as dynamite The first Two Matches of the night were the best, but nothing was bad. Taz, Excalibur and Starks are a really fun commentary team. It wasn't the best Rampage episode but it flew by and the crowd was prett solid for the most part"
[7.0] "Just like Dynamite, the atmosphere was great but I think AEW gives these crowd a lot of wrestling and as a result the crowd started getting quieter as Rampage went on. As far as the show goes, I enjoyed it. The first two matches were good, Six Man Tag being the better one. Fun seeing the UFC fighters beat up Jericho and Hager but I would probably have them work with someone else because an MMA fan will get bored of Jericho and Hager fast. The only match I didn't like was the women's match, I think they have better women on Dark doing nothing, they could get a better match if they used them. Main event was slow, the crowd was tired but it was fun at times, nothing too amazing."
[6.0] "Great atmosphere, as on Wednesday, but the crowd got audibly tired the longer the night went on -- understandably. The action was decent, but despite some hot moments not terribly interesting. Despite that I am extremely hyped about the future of AEW, which is looking extremely bright. Commentary was hit-and-miss for me, as a voice of reason was missing for me, grounding the other guys. MOTN was the Trios, as was expected. I enjoyed the main event, too, especially the blast from the past in my old ROH favourite Homicide making an appearance. Punk and Hobbs had an oldschool-style match, which was fine for what it was. Adam Cole is super, super hot and was the star of the show. The Lambert-storyline does not do it for me, because I do not know any of these people and it feels a little tacked on and done for cross-promotion, not for any other reason. But maybe that will change. The other matches existed."

[9.0] "What a great follow up to Dynamite. Super fun show that kept the crowd entertained after they had already seen some great wrestling and had to be getting tired. The multi man tag matches were all action, and I can? t wait for Jungle Boy vs Adam Cole. Cole is gonna make JB look like a million bucks. The Punk match was good, as he gave Hobbs a lot. A little slow at times, but still solid. Masvidal showing up to knock out Jericho was unexpected and the crowd treated him like a big time star. The main event was exactly what it should have been. Totally different style match, all out brawl. Send the crowd home happy with their hometown heroes, Eddie and the surprise of Homicide who is a cult hero in those parts. The only miss was the womens match. Why beat Anna Jay already, and in a nothing screw job finish. At least it led to furthering the Dark Order split. Overall a very exciting cap to an extremely succcessful night in every way possible at Arthur Ashe stadium."
