[7.0] "Some pretty decent wrestling here but most of this show is there to set up feuds going forward, which is absolutely fine. Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle show major dissension here and there are teases of an Angle heel turn with the opening segment that reminded me a lot of Kurt's betrayal back in late 2002 where he seemed to hesitate in giving him a rematch but it was actually him goofing around. The seeds are planted when Lesnar is announced to face Vince McMahon in a cage next week with Angle as the guest referee with the main event doing a great job of setting it up. Most of the matches are sprints which is fine, with Eddie Guerrero vs Tajiri getting the most time in a good grudge match that continued Eddie's really fun heel character run. The Noble/Torrie cutaway segments are bizarre, but at least Jamie Noble and Nidia's character work make the segments more goofy than anything else."

[7.0] "Rey vs Shelton was a fun sprint although I could've done without Haas constant interventions. Eddie vs Tajiri had a great start, but I was disappointed by the match. It was still good for a TV match though. Cena vs Orlando was simply so that Cena could challenge Taker next week. I liked how simple and effective it was. The main event was great in creating more tension between Angle/Lesnar."

The comedy stuff with Noble and Gunn will likely not be for all but it? s a goofy and nostalgic segment for me that you probably couldn? t/shouldn? t run today."
