[4.0] "Opening match was good but ended with a messy finish but the beat down was brutal and good, lasted perhaps a little to long 5/10. Second match has Mr. Perfect getting stinkfaced which means I can not rate it any higher than a 1. Next match was a nothing match that ended anticlimactically with one trash can lid shot to the head 2/10. Next match is a pretty good match for the skill levels of Trish at this time 5/10. MOTN was Storm vs Van Dam, 7/10. Hall vs. Dudley was a nothing squash but Hall looked decent, 4/10. Main event was a good steel cage match that was a overbooked at the end 6/10."

[7.0] "Show opens up with vince saying flair will not be in attendance and it will be fan appreciation night... ok. But then Booker T is fighting Austin, for like 90 seconds, before NWO comes in and destroys stone cold. This is a hell of a beat down. Hall brings out a tool box and everything. ok. This ends up being the most NWO-centric show since Vince had his bright idea a couple months ago. Anyway, Albert and Scotty 2 Hotty vs Mr Perfect and TEST. They try giving TEST a mic to introduce Mr Perfect, but he sounds just as dumb as always. This ends with Rikishi coming in and helping his old buddy S2H out by giving a perfect stinkface. Rikishi and Scotty hug at the end, which gets a nice emotional pop. Long segment where Undertaker kidnaps Ric Flair's son and threatens his daughter, in order to get a match at WM. Mark Henry (sexual chocolate) is back. He shows up for half a minute to a pop, but that's it. He recently won the world's strongest man contest, so he's basically just celebrating that. Backstage segment with Lance Storm slapping RVD, which leads to a pretty decent and enjoyable match between the two. RVD blows his load with a lot of his unique moves at the beginning, and Lance fake injures RVD with almost breaking his leg, RVD comes back for the pin. Good match. NWO is beating up random back stage guys, pouring hot coffee on people, basically being terrorists. It's been a few weeks since their debut and we still haven't seen any of these guys in a real match. That ends tonight as Scott Hall is going to wrestle Spike. Spike has nobody in his corner and of course Hall has his buddies with him. This isn't a total squash match as Spike puts up a somewhat valiant effort, but it only takes about 2 minutes for Hogan and Nash to get their shots in while the ref's head is turned. As this episode is centered mostly around NWO, the main event starts without much lead up to it. You have angle and HHH in a cage. No real explanation given, but the crowd doesn't give a fuck. Match starts off slow but it ends up being a very LONG (for this era) and great TV cage match. Steph interferes but she does a great job in her role, coming out as HHH is about to win, she knocks the ref out and slams the door on HHH's head. Kurt has a chance to get out but she convinces him to go back in and whoop HHH while he's down. That happens, HHH counters, Steph throws a chair in, and Angle gets DDT'd on the chair. HHH has a chance to escape but she goes into the cage and smokes HHH with the chair a few times! HHH gets trapped in the ropes as he slips off the ropes, and Angle ends up escaping out the door. There's more than what I typed obviously but damn this was a real fuckin fun match. Overall entertaining episode, although I question the WWF's decision to have a Raw with neither the Rock or Jericho involved at all, so soon before Wrestlemania. They did play a montage of the Rock's history, similar to what they did for Hogan on the last smackdown, but that's all "rock" we got on this show. I can't remember if he was filming a movie during this time, but he must have been, there's no other reason that he'd be absent from TV for two weeks before he's headlining WM18. Not having Y2J be a part of this episode is head scratching. I'm not complaining, just wondering the thought process. Anyway, one of the best Raw's in a while."

[6.0] "Somewhat alright episode of Raw. Fan Appreciation Night as well as the episode where The Undertaker beats up David Flair in the men's room; in-ring action was great."

[7.0] "Nwo keep doing their storylines on a top level, HHH and Steph also did a great job even without Y2J."

[7.0] "A really solid match, maybe the most solid match of the year. Really enjoyed the RVD match and the main event"
